It's Pity Party time for Wayu again. After managing to make him tolerable for a few episodes they've put him back…
OMG, I so LOL'd at the t-shirt idea. That would be the funniest thing. If they can wear those Boy shirts with the Nazi emblem on them, they can at least do the cancer t-shirt.

I think Sandee reacted to the tattoo because Phai obscured his scar with a non-Thanu-related design. I didn't really understand it. I was just grateful for a break from Debbie Downer.

I've seen a short clip and it was a funny one. To those who watch the whole current episodes, is it good or nah??
For me it's much better than I was expecting. Some people find it slow, but I don't. It does have humor in it, but it's mostly a drama, and there is a surprising horror element - I thought it would just be a cute ghost, but there's a lot more to it than that.

Its not graphic or viscerally disturbing, but there are a couple of scenes that are scary.

Somehow I forgot that this was Bank & Pon - they've improved since this, but they're cute enough here. I like Pon's hair like that - it suits him.

I suspect we'll have to wait a bit for subtitles - sometimes they appear a few hours later, or a day. If not,…
If they announced it, I'm sure they'll be there (they had better be!) If not, we can consider burning down their offices.

With my luck, there will be an accidental fire and Interpol will be coming for me.

I really can' keep track of the upcoming BLs, I'm (gay) panicking! Does anybody have a list of the BLs airing…
World of BL is usually fairly reliable - sometimes they miss smaller non-Thai productions, but a good resource. They also have a calendar, which is convenient.

Does this have a happy ending? Bro the chemistry between them looks so wholesome by the way.
Well, one of them starts out dead, so it's likely to go downhill from there. I guess Phat could die too, but this is Eastern so they'd just be reincarnated as other people and have to go through the whole fate reuniting them thing.

This is soooo guud. Are you sure you want to wait? You don't want to push that big, shiny play button and see…
And did I mention there's a shower scene?

It's not necessarily an obsession - if he truly loves Phai and wanted to give him what he thought he wanted (Thanu),…
Part of my problem in discussing this is I have to do other things or ff when I'm watching to avoid falling into a coma, so I either miss or forget things - I have absolutely no recollection of Pok being beaten in S1 - I don't really remember anything except there was an arrow and box and Pha was just shoes.

It looks like they're doing that "slowly-softening-the-villain" thing to make Sandee acceptable. Getting people to beat someone up is strayng into irredeemable territory.

I completely forgot Bank & Pon were the couple in The Moment & TM Since. BL likes to mate people for life.

Ugh. I'm really good about avoiding pirated content, but BL is making it hard, if not impossible. You almost need a second job to support your BL habit.

I must have FF through what he did to Pok & Tong - in that case I have to agree with you. Retaliating for an accident is more than misguided.

On the other hand, whatever he's done, that doesn't excuse the amount of violence he's been subjected to. In the end what he's done is reveal things that are true - but other people have physically assaulted him, which is worse. BL has a tendency to legitimize violence, which to me is a symptom of misogyny or patriarchical thinking. "Male" aggression is OK, but not "female" aggression, i.e. violence vs manipulation.

Sandee is never afraid when people assault him, but he also never fights back - nor can I think of any time he's ever lied about anything - by ommission, maybe, but even then he answers truthfully when confronted about anything. That's why he's an interesting character - usually the villain is either cartoonishly evil or a simple bully. Sandee is not so horrible that we won't accept him with Phai, especially since Phai clearly sees who he is.

One last point - I don't think anyone in the audience would "get over" his villainy if he weren't so physically attractive - but that's a bias common to all cultures.

"Would you like some new content with your flashbacks?"

It's hard to believe this is episode 6 - it feels like episode 1,006. 80% of this episode was people staring at nothing, staring at each other, staring at their phones, & staring at their watches (usually interspersed with flashbacks) - 19% of the episode was Wayu crying and/or moping, and 1% was Sandee and KohJack (I know there was some Pok and Tong in there somewhere, but I doubt anyone cares anymore).

That 1% keeps pulling me back to this trainwreck, and unfortunately, Sandee's storyline is too closely integrated into the story for me to skip everything but him.

So Kit and Mark. Kit has moved out because they had a fight, but they still facetime where they kiss the screen at each other (grudgingly, I admit Kit was adorable when he did it). What is the point of this? It makes absolutely no sense. TBH, I don't really care what happens to them at this point. Also, Mark needs a character arc, because mugging like a small child for two years is not cute anymore.

Thanu should never be allowed to stand in profile. You know what I mean, even if you don't want to admit it to yourself. Also, why are Thanu and Wayu not together? I don't really see an obstacle. They had a misunderstanding which they now know was caused by Sandee, and they're in love. So why is Thanu waiting? For a crushingly dull mopey crybaby?

There's Team Thanu and Team Pha, but I have a proposal - how about Team Phanu? They're both single and while not exactly sparkling in comparison to Wayu, at least they don't spend all day moping and crying.

As for KohJack (it must be KohJack because there was a famous TV detective named Kojak on a really campy show), since they're only going to get .5 seconds of screen time every episode, I'd rather just rewatch My Mate Match which is all about them, PLUS the actor playing Pha lives with them and takes showers onscreen which is so worth it.

In my now post-haze re-watch of the episode, I'm sitting here wondering if perhaps, Sandee backpedaled as quickly,…
It's not necessarily an obsession - if he truly loves Phai and wanted to give him what he thought he wanted (Thanu), then isn't that just misguided (and ruthless) rather than truly villainous? Whatever the case, Sandee is the only thing that makes watching this (very) slow train-wreck of a series bearable.

Why do sandee want phai to have thanu so much, like he will get something in return. even when phai is saying…
It's what makes Sandee interesting. He loves Phai, and so he wanted to give him what he thought he wanted, even though it hurt him.

Everyone was saying there was a dramatic twist which confused me as I'd watched ep 3 & 4 - I guess I was behind.

I think we all know who did the thing that he said he had done.

I've been a bit harsh on this series so far, but wow, the acting in this is first rate. Rex & Gio were great in this episode. I wish the sound didn't semi-spoil some important scenes, but this has got to be one of the best BLs airing.

One criticism might be that it can get repetitive - I don't know how many times someone can say "he has already forgiven you" to the same prompt.

But anyway, it's not often that the entire cast is top-notch like this. Gio is always a bit of a surprise because he's mostly cast in silly roles, where he's totally wasted, because he has serious dramatic skills.

This is surprisingly good - I was not too excited because I thought Nut was terrible in Oxygen, but I think it was the directing because he's really cute in this.

And Plan is super-cute, and I really like the actor playing Luck (and Pha in Gen Y).

I thought the horror would be just a toss-away after the first episode, but this is an actual horror story with some scary sh#$ in it. It's well-written, and even if the pace is slow, it's not plodding or boring. I hope the conclusion isn't rushed.

Man, I'm now asking myself if he worked hard to improve his acting skills or his role in Oxygen was made to be…
In Oxygen he was The Boy Who Lost His Smile, and apparently the director interpreted that to mean The Boy Who Has No Facial Expressions and Has the Dead Eyes of a Serial Killer.

But in this series he's doing a good job.
