I mean... let's be honest here. If you know someone and never heard of a twin, and this person starts acting odd…
Yes, but if you're starting a revolutionary terrorist gang, wouldn't you do a basic background check? When I'm applying for a job, an exhaustive check is done, and that's just for me to sit in a cubicle somewhere.
Help. I want to continue enjoying this but I kind of have a trauma with strangling/choking (not going into details…
TBH, I would stop watching. A bit of light entertainment isn't worth revisiting past trauma. At the least I'd skip the first segment of next week's episode, because by the second White will be totally fine.
Guys, that was really dumb - this is getting too silly. What was the point of testing Black if they were just going to give him the most important job after he failed?
And making a drink bitter? That's the kind of thing you do in primary school. Nobody would care about this - why on earth would anyone risk their lives for something that ridiculous? If Sean's hatred for Tawi is that visceral, then he should have a plan that can do him real harm, not make fizzy drinks unpleasant.
Remember the Russian Revolution, when Lenin and Trotsky snuck into the wine cellar of the Winter Palace and replaced some of the bottles with slightly inferior vintages? Come on.
And who has philosophical discussions while conducting a terrorist attack? Did you know that air crews on airliners are forbidden by law from discussing anything not related to safe flying of the plane during takeoff and landing? Because a lack of concentration can and has been fatal. And isn't White supposed to be intelligent? Why is he so relentlessly stupid?
I think the discussions of the moral issues are relevant and on point, but there's a time and place. Also, hitting someone with a motorcycle helmet when feeling pissed off and betrayed is an understandable human reaction, but trying to strangle someone to death is a teeny bit more psycho. And incidentally, he should strangle him at home, not right outside an enemy stronghold.
I like the themes of this series and that it's different than the usual BL formula, but there are already so many whacky elements to this that it's starting to become an unintentional comedy.
Oh i hope so. But it will be different actors. I think the original 2 were banned to work together again. (Its…
I've read that the line crossed by this series wasn't the gay stuff, although that was certainly an element - it was the corrupt use of state power which was unacceptable. Gu Hai used his connections for the advantage of his friends and to escape consequences for his violent behavior. I think there's probably some truth to that.
Vee and Dome haven't done anything wrong. Also, it's not easy to be gay and repressed in a conservative society…
I get what you're saying. They should definitely not be doing that. All I can say in their defense is they probably identify as straight and don't understand what it is they're feeling for each other.
For me, and I think for many other people, at that age I just didn't understand the feelings I had for boys was romantic love and not just really-good-friend love and simple aesthetic admiration for their hot bodies.
On the other hand, that was decades ago and I got past that when I was 18. Fortunately I didn't have any sisters. :)
Oh i hope so. But it will be different actors. I think the original 2 were banned to work together again. (Its…
Do readers accept that? Maybe if he'd been drunk or it was a passion crime, but that's vicious and premeditated. That's not love anymore, it's a psychopathic need for power and control over someone.

There are two separate issues there, lack of preparation and rape.
Female writers massively overvalue the importance of "preparation" - you don't need any. If you're actively resisting it can be terrible, but if you can relax (during consensual sex), that's mostly what "preparation" does anyway. If he was unconscious he'd be relaxed more or less by definition, although I don't see how anyone could remain unconscious through that unless drugged. I think maybe it's an attraction on the part of writers to the hurt/comfort trope.
Rape, on the other hand, is violent and dangerous.
I guess what I'm saying is there's nothing inherently wrong or abusive about no preparation during consensual sex. Rape is terrible and violent, really disturbing, and never acceptable - when Gu Hai has Luo Yin abducted, that's about the limit I think an audience can tolerate (I thought it was funny), but what you described is a deal-breaker. If Luo Yin stays with him after that he needs serious therapy. After he's carefully hidden away from the dangerously insane person.
Addicted is addicting No matter what people say that it has a problematic character , I still like his character…
Agree - a lot of fans only like to watch cute boys being cute to each other - if any characters have any human failings it's unforgivable. Kids are too sheltered these days. I find perfect character BLs boring beyond belief. And the writing is lazy because it entirely depends on implausible misunderstandings and external factors to generate drama, with the result that the romance feels unearned and unsatisfying with no opportunity for character development.
Also, anyone who watches a drama titled "Addicted Heroin" and doesn't expect some "problemmatic" behavior probably shouldn't watch anything without their parents' supervision.
I was just rewatching this and forgot how good it is. But why would wearing damp underwear give someone diarrhea? You don't get it when you go swimming and you're wearing wet clothing down there for hours. I guess if you got your underwear wet in cholera-tainted water and then put it in your mouth you could get sick, but that seems like a lot of effort when you could just eat a lot of prunes.
Oh i hope so. But it will be different actors. I think the original 2 were banned to work together again. (Its…
Did you mean that hyperbolically? Because you can't rip apart someone's organs like that. Unless you're an elephant or something. That would probably hurt.
That was really, really dull. There's nothing in particular that's wrong with it, but this is the director from Love Sick 2 and Friend Forever, so I guess that's the level of pacing to expect.
The main character is adorable, but watching him mope for an hour isn't too riveting. There's a lot going on the background, but with no backstory, we have no idea what any of it is, and as it's about marketing & business stuff, you're not really curious to find out.
It's a little tropey, although in a minor miracle, when the uke gets a grain of rice stuck to his lip that he inexplicably can't feel, the seme hands him a napkin instead of inappropriately touching him. Although in the obligatory drunk/piggyback/damp towel wipedown sequence, he does inappropriately strip him, but that's offscreen, so even that's dull.
The acting is unconvincing and the story’s nothing new, it reminds me a lot of 2Moons, but with different filters…
Vee and Dome haven't done anything wrong. Also, it's not easy to be gay and repressed in a conservative society - Dome probably doesn't even know what he's feeling at this point. There's no context. I had girlfriends because that's what guys do. I didn't realize how wrong that was for me until I had a boy.

Every aspect of the production is wonderful - this is maybe the most beautifully filmed of all BLs - the DP really knows how to use natural light - that scene with Dome and Vee in the late afternoon was so stunning.
But the subject matter is so crushingly dull I'm having trouble generating any interest. Tae is doing a good job of playing a severely depressed person, but as he's so withdrawn and doesn't really talk, there's not so much chemistry.
I did perk up when they grabbed that super-duper hot guy in the locker room - OMG. I cried when Thorn made him put a shirt on. Does anyone know the actor's name? Dome isn't hard to look at either.
Dome & Vee are a great pairing - that's more or less what's sustaining me right now.
I can't catch a break this week. That was just excruciating. The character Beshie was survivable in small doses in S1, but as a main character is unbearable - the acting... especially compared to Karissa and Gian. I really don't understand what this season is about or why it needed to be made at all. Can we get the asteroid from Love at the End of the World and aim it at their apartment?
Gian Bernadino is a nice find - I hope we see more of him.
That really sad that the choice of the writer it's to make us feel like Nueng (and Maze) think that people without…
I don't need people to be perfect, but I need them to behave in character. Phap has never once displayed even the slightest hint of violent tendencies - and for him to suddenly punch someone like that made no sense. Also, Neung said he was trying to push Phap & Maze together, but a small child would be able to tell you that what he said and did was outrageous and cruel and rather than pushing them togther, actually sabotaged their relationship.
This was all done to create drama, which is terrible writing. If you want drama, then it has to be within the context of the characters you've created. For example, Phap could have slept in and missed a critical presentation, making them lose an account. That sounds like something he might do. It could even have just been that he lost critical documents while trying to save a cat.
If characters behave like totally different people, then it's frustrating. Nrither Phap nor Maze is anywhere close to perfect, but their flaws have been drawn for the entire series so far, and nothing they've done up to now felt out of character. This did, and spoiled the characters.
