Well, from when he moved in, Phat sensed something was there, then the pencil moved, his computer kept playing, and he had the dream sequence. Then Phob identified himself by spelling his name during the seance, so it makes sense that Phat would assume he was Phob.
I don't think it's too fast in the full version, but the missing computer scene probably made it seem that way in the cut version, plus the conversation about the guardian spirit added a sense of creepiness that was important as well - they didn't like that they had to feed it every day - in fact when the mother left her tea, it was a bit defiant (although he apparently liked it). If it were stretched out too far people might start to get frustrated.
I get what you're saying - it probably could have gone a little longer. I would have had something else negative happen as the cliffhanger (caused by a bad ghost, but we don't know that they're there yet), then had the seance next episode and maybe ended with that.
It was OK. TBH, even though I love him, it would have been better for Kaleb to not be in this - that he is undermines Anthony's grief as we can't really empathize with what he feels. That's kind of the point of death - when someone dies, they're gone.
In all of Jodi Garcia's production, he gets excellent performances out of his actors, but that's about it. This contains all the technical flaws of previous projects - I was hoping for improvement. Either he needs training or a better crew.
Miggy Campbell was really good in this - and we already knew the rest of the cast is great.

This was easily the worst Korean BL ever made. The acting isn't the worst, but everything else is. Even the technical quality was poor, like the long scene with Yeong Woo walking with a large plastic bag (because that's what we really needed to dwell on in order to fill the gaps) and all the other sound was drowned out by rustling plastic due to lack of understanding of the concept of sound.
I don't even know what Ki Jin was apologizing for - he hasn't done anything for several episodes.

No. It's so poorly written and edited that nobody had any idea what was going on. There are so many time jumps and non-linear scenes that it's just a jumbled mess. I thought it would come together in the last episode, but it's even more confusing. Total waste of time, and almost no BL.
Well, this continues to be odd, but I really liked this episode. You almost wanted to see the warning "No animals were harmed in the filming of this program." That would probably be a lie, but you never know.

I wouldn't say there's too much that's critical in the uncut version - mostly it's two scenes. I summarized them in the discussion section. It does flow more smoothly and it explains who the old man is.
I think cinematography matters quite a bit. It's usually a key differentiator between something good and something poor. The writing is important too, of course, but a great story told poorly is still not a good series.
As you know, a lot of BL is based on novels, which usually don't translate well to the screen. For that to work, you need good screenwriter and a good director, or it's just a boring narrative.
In this particular series, the cinematographer & director do an excellent job of building tension through effective use of camera angles, which also lends interest to what you're looking at.
I think it's possible to overdose on Thai series - they're all full of tropes and lack originality. I actually liked this, although I agree it was a bit slow. The uncut version explains things better so it's smoother to follow. No shirtless scenes, though, so nothing crucial is missing from the cut version.

2. There's a scene where Phob gets on Phab's laptop and unpauses what Phab was watching, which is Lovely Writer (which is really funny). Phab comes back and is confused, and he has a pause/unpause battle with Phob. That's why later on the guy who plays Pha on Gen Y is there (looking hot in glasses, although that's no particular challenge for him). We don't find out what he transferred to his thumb drive or why he did it.
Note: The scene when Phob saves Phab from jumping off the balcony is also non-linear in the full version, depicting their dream conversation after he wakes up, so you didn't miss anything here.
