I also felt no chemistry. Occassionally I got a little from Jang Eui Soo, but barely. The writing was awful - it felt like no effort went into it at all. This should never have been made.
That was really poor. There wasn't really a plot, and what there was made no sense. Jang Eui Soo is beautiful, but it's not enough.
Everyone keeps talking about length. Length does not matter. All films are this long, and actually usually shorter, yet countless films have had no diificulty drawing characters and giving them backstories and context. In fact, 30 minutes is enough if the writing is good.
The rating here is so stupid, it's clear that it's all fake, if it's Kdrama it's always overates and if it's thai…
This is unusual, though, in that it's been trending upwards. It's possible that people were put off by the fighting in the first two eps (I was - I rated it a 6 until this ep when it became a 9).
But Kdramas will usually get rated like that because there are lots of Koreans watching it and they'll all give it 10s,
3 episodes in and I haven't found a single thing that I don't like about this series except waiting a week for…
I wasn't very keen on all the fighting, but after this ep I see that it was necessary for the plot and they didn't carry it past its usefulness - this is really a perfect series so far.
This isn't the best BL of all time, but it's certainly one of the most enjoyable. Finally, we have equally able actors playing the main couple - NOTE TO GMM: Look what happens when you put experienced actors in the main roles instead of pretty boys you drag in off the street. It would be hard to find anyone to top these two in looks anyway.
The chemistry between these two is stellar, and the way they look at each other is burning with love, but also subtle and not OTT.
And finally, a romance between boys, and not an uke and a seme! They even played with that with the busstop scene and when Ohm cornered Nanon butt-to-crotch in the elevator.
The writing is sharp and witty, the dialog is natural, and the pacing is perfect. I love this series.
Yeah Im pretty sure its not. One of the characters might be gay, but I dont think thats what they are focused…
There is room for it to be BL, so it depends on the direction they take it The story was written 25 years ago and needs updating, so we'll see. IIRC only two of the male characters were straight.
just like a tale of thousand stars i wish we will have great second half and final too ... this story and this…
i actually thought 1000 Stars was ruined by the really stu;pid drama introduced near the end. Maybe not ruined, but lowered from a 10 to an 8. I hope they don't do that here.
I am so in love with this. Please baby yoda don't let GMM ruin it! These two boys are so amazing in these roles…
If there's anything we''ve learned, it's the GMM can ruin anything. ANYTHING. But there's a first for everything, and maybe they'll let this one live. So far it has none of the usual red flags. If Nanon suddenly starts acting like a 12-year old girl later on, you'll know it's taking an unfortunate direction into formula and cliche.
I am in love with the bus stop scene and the dinner scene! it was just too romantic! 😭😩❤️❤️
I'm not sure I would characterize spitting out food as romantic, but I know what you mean - those were two of the best fliring scenes I've ever seen in BL.
In my opinion, this episode really shunned the whole masculine/feminine top/bottom stereotype...During the bus…
It's one of the best things about this - I've really been pining for a BL where the guys are just guys, and not a man and a 12-year old Victorian-era virgin. I love their interaction. It's so natural and well-written.
I have not watched the drama yet, just torturing myself by reading all the comments every week since I would legit…
It's so good. Maybe the best BL of all time. All the cuteness and flirting, and Ohm in muscle shirts, and super-good acting, and the stellar chemistry. Are you sure you don't want to watch it yet? :)

But I love it so far.
