This would have worked better as a high school drama - I get that Mario is a bit inexperienced, but he's acting like he's 14. He's super-cute, but for him to be this insecure, we needed to see something traumatic that happened in his past - otherwise he's just too immature. And if he's that embarassed of everything, it's hard to believe he would have let Hilda come dressed like that. I'm not really getting a picture of Jethro's personality, and so he's coming off as insincere. His smile never seems to reach his eyes.
Anyway, the production quality of this is fairly high, so there's that, and next week we get Ron Angeles. Why didn't they case him as Jethro? Anyway, it looks like his character might be a player, which would be a nice change from his usual role of pefect boyfriend material that people inexplicably bypass for some tiresome schlubb.
I it worth watching? I don't know why but it's looks generic
I think it's worth watching. It's light entertainment and not going to change your life, but it's cute, and Jame (Mix) does a really good wounded puppy-dog. I wouldn't say there's not plot at all, but it's faded a little into the background. I assume it will become more important later.
Well, at least things happened this ep. It was actually an improvement. The entire plot depends on people not communicating at all about everything and totally misunderstanding other people in what should be rather obvious cirsumstances - like there's no way anyone with basic human emotions could walk into a room, see Lemuel's face, and think "he's flirting!" Come on.
The scene between Vlad and the maid was excruciating and took up nearly half the episode, and still, we're being preached at about what love is, which I suppose is in the title, but still, maybe show, don't tell.
Speaking of which, it would be nice if the production could trust the actors to portray what their characters are feeling instead of using voiceovers to tell us everything. This feels like it was written as a novel and nobody understood how to adapt it to a visual medium.
On the positive side, the technical aspects of the episode were improved. We're still not getting the performance out of Kaleb that he's capable of, and I wish this could let him shine like he usually does. Grey Ramos, on the other hand, did a great job of showing us Lemuel's devastation. Axl should be used more. Maybe next ep.
I'm getting tired of all the trans and effeminate characters being played for laughs. It's deeply offensive and further, it's lazy. If you can't come up with a way to be funny without humiliating entire groups of people that you should be supporting, then get out of BL. At least homophobes are honest about their bigotry - you're masquerading as something else.
I thought they looked perfect in their suits? I was in awe when I saw all the guys wearing suits and the girls…
To me it looked like a middle-class high school prom, or maybe bridesmaids at a wedding where the bride hated her bridesmaids. The tailoring was poor and nothing was very fashionable. I was really excited for the party because I was expecting something really special the way it was built up, but yikes. I didn't really like Y Destiny at all, but the costume design was spectacular. It's not expensive to do - it just needs someone who knows what they're doing.
Leon's tux looked pretty good, though, and I loved his hair like that.
Although it was a very unusual story that had a short time to develop a whole complex idea, it wasn't bad - it…
Are you joking or is there really a "Not That Innocent"? If you're joking, that was funny. But I'd rather it be true. The secondary couple should have a series - otherwise there was no point to them.
That was really wonderful - but it needed to be longer. I'm all for not dragging something out, but it does need to be long enough to do the subject justice. For example, it felt like there was an entire episode missing in the middle of ep 4 - how did they get from the conversation in the pool hall to the conversation at home? I don't think it needed a lot more time - but it needed one more ep.
Then they throw the mind-blowingly hot Jun Zhe on my screen and not give that story thread any space at all. Or was that sort of an intro into a sequel? I mean, I thought Blake Chang was about as hot as a man can get, and then this guy shows up.
Anyway, this is how you do chemistry between two guys. There is nothing explicit in this, but you feel like you're watching to people who are in love - they want to touch each other, even when just standing watching a sunset - not to obviously straight guys who are super-uncomfortable with what they're doing keeping a foot of space between their bodies at all times, even when they're having sex.
It was OK. Cute boys, good acting, good production values, empty plot. This is one of those series that I'll forget I watched, then see a reference to it, look it up, and then see this comment that I'm writing and realize I saw it.
I'm getting tired of grown men going through gay panic. It's just old and worn out now and tiresome to watch. I get it in high school kids, but come on.
Anyway, I don't regret watching it and would recommend it as a pleasant trifle.
One thing that's starting to get LOL funny is when guys sprint, and they were seriously running hard, and shed not a single drop of perspiration. To be fair, their pores are totally plugged up by the white makeup they're plastered with and are probably physically incapable of sweating.
Okay, so I have never complained about a single ep because I think it's been a good show. Sure Fiat cries a lot…
I can't figure out what you mean by "unisensory shit." Is that autocorrect doing something strange to "unsavory"? I more or less agree, but I think there's been a lot of really dysfunctional stuff going on hidden (and not hidden) in plain sight. Leo is so controlling it borders on personality disorder, the nearly insane unmotivated jealousy that just doesn't occur with people who know each other well and are totally in love, and the violations of trust, like Leo constantly going to Fiat's father, as if Fiat is their child that they need to discuss parenting. And we won't get into sleeping with every man you can get your hands on just to hurt someone (whcih is usibg other people for unsavory ends) or kidnapping and torturing the person you "love".
If people enjoy that, that's totally fine - but people pretend Leo & Fiat have some sort of normal healthy relationship, and it just isn't. If it's supposed to be a D/s relationship, that needs to have been discussed and consented to.
What's wrong with aggressiveness? But everything else, agreed It's not just the story elements but the incompetent…
All of that plus he looks really good with his shirt off. I liked in the episode where he leaned in, read Pob's body language, and immediately aborted and apologized. I'm pretty sure Mame has an assistant somewhere who snuck that in. Mame would have had Leon rape him.
What's wrong with aggressiveness? But everything else, agreed It's not just the story elements but the incompetent…
Leo was willing to abduct and torture FIAT, let alone a lowlife like King. I don't think Mame knows anything about basic fiction writing, let alone how to portray relationships.
Why couldn't Leo just tell Fiat what's going on and then deal with it? What kind of an idiot is that easy to manipulate? And how did Fiat not notice that he only had a bottle of water and yet it made him comatose and forget the whole night? And that conversation the next day - what? It made no sense!
Drama is fine, but it has to make sense!
There's a slapdash quality to this. Ja and First both have beautiful bodies and should look perfect in formalwear, but they coudn't even be bothered to properly tailor their suits. Leo looked like a little boy playing dress-up with his father's clothes. Fiat's was a little better, but go take a look at Y Destiny - THAT was how you wear clothes.
I really thought it was impossible for me to hate Mame more than I already did, but she's just outdone herself.…
What's wrong with aggressiveness?
But everything else, agreed It's not just the story elements but the incompetent way they're written. They depend so much on people 1) behaving out of character 2) completely implausibl failures of communication and 3) complete idiocy from smart people.

Again, great camera work. That shower scene was beautifully executed. But so much so that it was all that was needed to show how Jill felt - it didn't require the entire episode like that. Also, if the song is longer than the episode, you can cut a verse out so that the audience isn't staring at a black screen after only getting a few minutes of just one mood.
"Are poop jokes funnier in the Philippines and Thailand than they are elsewhere? " - It's a Korean drama thing…
Unfortunately, in many cases the slapstick is trans- & femphobic, which is really revolting in a genre that should be friendly. It seems to be slowly improving, so maybe there's hope.
Quality I agree is much better doesn't feel cheap. I actually do like Mario & Jethro they have good chemistry.…
Everything about Ben seemed artificial & shallow to me - I couldn't get into the story. Also, he could have had Ron Angeles AND Royce Cabrera but rejected them both. Who would actually do that?
Anyway, the production quality of this is fairly high, so there's that, and next week we get Ron Angeles. Why didn't they case him as Jethro?
