So what are everyone's plans leading up to EP 12?Watch a couple of episodes a night?Binge watch the first 11 the…
My plans were not to watch it at all to avoid the inevitable disappointment, but now that there's an Ep 13, there's may be enough time to resolve everything in a satisfying way, so my hopes are renewed.
I'm sorry that so many people are disappointed with this series. While I agree it went downhill after episode…
They are definitely not in a relationship. And they are not cuddling every night - they moved to separate rooms. If they were a couple, they wouldn't avoid each other and they would make out and have sex.
Everyone's favorite part of the series is the getting together, and everyone thinks it's more satisfying the longer you wait - but they need to work up to it and overcome obstacles together, and I mean obstacles with each other. That's the frustration - the series was doing that, which is why we liked it.
Then, the ex dropped out of the sky way too late in the plot and threw the whole story off the rails, and way too much time has been devoted to it. Getting together isn't satisfying if it happens suddenly in the last 10 seconds and the couple high-fives.
Relationships in series need to have setbacks, but it needs to be two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward, etc. Here's their relationship did that until the ex showed up, then they took 10 steps back and are barely past where they were in ep 3, and have to build all the way back in too little time, and we're no longer seeing the cute moments between them.
However, we thought it was ending with Ep 12, and it looks like there's actually an Ep 13, so it may not be as bad as we initially thought,.
This is terrible beyond belief. I can't even tell what genre this is. Everything about this episode was awful - even the acting wasn't good, but it's hard to blame any of the actors - they probably did about as good as anyone could with the material.
Rating: Better than cancer, worse than Amore. If Johnny hadn't taken his shirt off, it would have drawn about even with cancer.
Nadao also charged international fans to watch with English subs with ITSAY and IPYTM. Maybe we are too entitled…
"Entitled" feels like too weak a word in this case. Here's someone who's spending hours of his time translating works that nobody else is ever going to translate, and instead of being shown gratitude, he's being compared to pirates. It makes me a little sick, frankly. I can't help but imagine forcing my maid to clean my house without pay.
I don't believe in corporal punishment, but things like this make me wonder if I'm wrong and that parents should start spanking their children a little.
I understand that it is a nuisance that there is no subtitle for every episode out there for free yet. But honestly,…
That's fine, but that doesn't mean you should expect everything for free. If a maidn cleans my house, I expect to pay her. If someone spends days translating a BL for me, I expect to compensate him.
I feel like this person that is doing the subs shouldn't be gaining money with somebody's elses project..i know…
It takes a huge amount of time for one person to subtitle an episode - why shouldn't he be compensated? And any translations he does are his work. You seem to think having subtitled foreign shows is a basic human right. So many people around here expect everything for free - do you watch the ads? How many services are you subscribed to? Have you ever contributed funds to any of the struggling DYI productions?
261 x $5 = $1,300 per month, which is $7.50 an hour - that's hardly "decent money".
OK, so a friend from here said I should give this a chance, with the convincing argument that although the genre itself can be homophobic, the characters in this one are not. Except the people that are villains or obstacles, and I'm ok with that. The mains are very patient and polite with all the LGBTQ+ characters, so that's progress.
Anyway, the main couple are pretty damned cute - I have to give it to them. Evil lawyer boy is really hot, too. I'm struggling a little to understand what's going on - like why does everyone think IG's truly horrendous song is good? Is this a Thai version of The Producers and the song about Mom selling chicken rice in the market the analogue of Springtime for Hitler?
Also, I just can't take the evil female routine again. I really want to like this - I really tried. And while I'm OK with a homophobic parent, it can be carried away, and I presume there will be no consequences.
There are a few cute moments, but if there's to be relationship drama, it needs to be organic to the couple themselves, and not be them repeatedly falling for the manipulations of evil people around them. It's just tiresome and incredibly unpleasant to watch.
Saving my first kiss for true love isn’t exactly weird. Although in this case, the whole thing started with…
Saving your first kiss for true love isn't weird if you're 13, or even 18 - but if you're in your mid-20s and having a Grindr hookup in the middle of a pandemic, it's very, very weird. There really are guys that find kissing more intimate than the butt sex, but it doesn't seem very consistent with Reb's character for him to be one of them - and to find kissing more intimate than the butt sex, you have to do both before you can make that comparison, right? And if you've never had a kiss and are saving it, is it very likely you'd give up your virginity that casually?
It's not any one thing about it that's weird, it's the full context. In any case, my issue was not so much the weirdness of the situation as the weirdness of the actual kiss.
OK, nobody can do BL like the Japanese. When was the last time you watched a Japanese BL and thought, "I've seen this already"? There's a creativity that's missing elsewhere, and a passion. And an ability to economically communicate emotion without tropes, formulas and a checklist of cliches.
Anyway, this is fantastic. I loved everything about it.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I've felt this series as starting to drift into BL cliche the last couple of eps, and there were a few in here too, but it was better than last ep.
I feel like the last scene, which was very well acted, scripted, and directed, was marred by a truly weird kiss. Somehow JM missed Reb's lips and is kissing his nostrils. I don't understand that decision and it took me out of the scene. There's a fine line between optimistic idealism and immaturity - the whole "saving my first kiss for true love" thing is a little bit ridiculous in a story about adults in their 20s.
But BL is fantasy, so I can accept it. But if you have built up the idea like this, then the big kiss can't be lips to nostrils.
I understand this makes me a bad person, but am I the only viewer who laughed (twice now!) when we saw Din's mother,…
I was too surprised that the SUV wasn't white and that there was actually someone driving it to laugh, but the look on the actress' face was fairly memorable. I think everyone in Thailand (and Taiwan, the Phiippines, & Vietnam) should have to attend a mandatory class in what not to do when you've pointlessly stepped into the middle of a road and a vehicle is speeding toward you. Hint: Don't stand totally still for several moments, throw your hands up and screem. You could better use the time to get out of the way. If rhere's time, they could teach them how not to drown in 15 seconds in 3 feeet of water. On the other hand, then they might not have enough time to show everyone how to cure cancer with a damp towel wipedown.
The hit-and-run flashback was shocking. First, the SUV wasn't white, and second, the SUV had a driver. And what's with the driver's smirk? Wouldn't he have been annoyed that she got is bumper dirty?
How many of you wish you had the risidual rights to that rooster crow? Even if it were only $.01 for each use, BL alone would make you a wealthy person. Actually, a billionaire if you include Filipino BL.
OK, that was terrible. The plot makes no sense and the acting is cartoonish. The scene where the girl is chasing the motorbike,
This is so awful that I would normally call it unwatchable, but the boys are so f@#$ing hot there's no chance I'm dropping it. I'm likely to skip large swaths of it, though.
Some of you will throw rotten fruit at me, but I'm so happy Din got a haircut. He's so perfect that the man-bun didn't bother me as much as it normally would, but I think he looks better without it.
Yup their bodies I wa swooning you know. Marco and Bas are super hot couple while other two are just bland for…
WIthin the context of their interaction, I don't think the kiss was that big a deal, and Marco responded positively to it immediately. Bas has been totally denied any love or anyone caring for him his entire life - Marco must seem like literally everything to him right now. He shouldn't have, but on a scale of kissing someone sleeping to person using his power to touch you sexually, the kiss is a 1, Tee is a 50.
I thought it was good too...the ending is ripe with possibilities. And the way Mew reached out with the text photo…
Wait now - I'm not writing what I want to see into the ending, I'm seeing what's on the screen. Dew's parents are shipping him off to Chiang Mai, and he's accepted it - he's known he's going for weeks and shown not the slightest indication he's not going to obey them. We can all have our interpretations of what characteres are thinking and feeling, but not so much what they're physically doing.
I'm assuming that they'll end up with other people and will never get together, because that's how life works. They could possibly wait for each other, meaning they lose a big chunk of their youth to pain an loneliness, but that's not a particularly happy result either, although it's sort of romantic.
Are you a masochist or something? If I could go back in time and not watch any of this, I would. The acting was…
Well, we know they went to college for four years and almost certainly got together with other people and probably never saw each other again. My only hope is that his mother has an encounter with a white SUV.
I think I can answer this. The acting is superb, even Fern. The problem is the two main characters interact almost…
Agreed. If it had been 13, I would flown to Thailand and burned the studio down. We're not going to get any more of this story, and I don't understand what would possess them to end it like this, but we did at least get to see War in action, but I can't help but think he could have been acting up a storm in something that didn't upset (almost) everyone.

Sorry, but this is a really low score for me.
