It's funny how boring your life gets when you get older - I forget how full of drama youth is. Sometimes I roll my eyes at BL plots, but I'm not sure my actual life was any more reasonable.

I like DaOn - it's just that he refuses to say anything about his feelings and it's frustrating. He always seems to say someting banal instead.

Why do they always give te guys silly haircuts in these series that hide their looks? He looks so good in that photo.

The people in question need to say something. I'm screaming at my screen "SAY IT! SAY ANYTHING!" If anyone pats TK on the head one more time without clarity, I will fly over there and slap someone.

On his Instagram you can see that he's not chubby, and there's one where he's wearing a short-sleeve shirt and his arm is definitely not skinny, but it's not a clear shot. I think you're right - something about the way he moves says "athletic" to me.

I know - I just mean that she doesn't deserve someone like Shi Woon.

You're right - straight dramas do that a lot - I hadn't thought about it. Now that you mention it, maybe that's a source of my lack of engagement with this series - because we know Shin Woo is endgame, the DaOn stuff is all filler and you know not to invest in it.

The shallowness is always there for me, but it's particularly strong here since all the boys only have one personality characteristic each, so if I'm going to have a sex-bot, I want the hottest one.

I guess that's a good point. If you asked DaOn to choke you during you-know-what and forgot to tell him to let go after a while you might be in trouble. Right now he's near the bottom of my ranking, but none of them have taken their shirts off, so I'm withholding final judgement. Isn't it winter in this series? Koreans love their saunas.

I know it's not very charitable, but I really don't want So Hee to have a happy ending. I'm kind of hoping she falls off a balcony into the path of a lawn mower.

I'm sure everyone will end up in happy couples. I just hope it isn't in the last 30 seconds.

I'm really over the petty and evil female antagonist trope. Yes, there are women like this, but most aren't, and one that isn't could occassionally feature in a BL.

This did move the plot forward a bit, but something was missing - I guess the total emotionlessness of all the disucssions - you could see a little inner sadness in Shin Woo, but that's about it. There were too many important conversations for the energy level to be that low. There's also a lack of chemistry between any of the potential pairs - it may be there if we're ever allowed to see people interact in a romantic context instead of everyone beging terrified of each other. I hope we'll get to see.

Unless DaOn was only going to say "I think I may have left the iron on, but I'm pretty sure it has a shut-off timer", it's a little silly that he didn't say "I'll be there in 10 minutes" and tell TK what he wanted to say. And what could you discuss with the owner that took all night like that?

Maybe that's what was bothering me - the endless interruptions and excuses for nobody to ever say anything to each other - it's frustrating when the central conflict that dominates a series is that people won't talk to each other.

With 7 more episodes there's time to resolve everything, but it's a bit late in the story for TK to have never given a thought to Shin Woo as a romantic interest.

So if you were to ask who I want TK with, I can only answer "I don't know - anyone, I guess. whatever."

Actually what I really want to see is Shi Woon get busy with Teacher Seo.

I'm sure he had a reserve third bag.

What if he'd be happiest alone?

Sometimes the quiet ones are the most nuclear in bed. Plus, DaOn would do whatever you want him to do, and that has a quality in itself. But I'd take Shi Woon over all the rest any day. Well, maybe Teacher Seo would suffice.

True. But So Hee's position is totally self-serving and self-absorbed, and probably evil. A good person is nice to everyone. If literally hundreds of thousands of people would love to see you run over by a bus, then you should reexamine you choices, right?

Aren't all BL characters out of Jane Austin? Every BL has a Darcy, (Shin Woo), Elizabeth (TK), Bingly (DaOn), etc.

The only way she can earn my favor is to die. The more horribly, the more I'll forgive her.

You can have all my money and first born is Shin Woo is NOT the endgame. To me it''s completely obviously and 100% certain. Bls follow a formula, and the formula says it's Shinwoo. Have you ever in your life seen a BL where the main pair like each other from the start? What was the point of Shinwoo hating TK if it wasn't because they're the main couple?

That's not to say the White SUV of Death won't get Shinwoo and TK only realizes who he really loved after he's gone. Just kidding. But I hope the White SUV of Death comes for So Hee, and quickly.

There's no arguing that the boys are hot. It looks like the two leads are finally going to get somewhere next ep, so naturally my shallowness will drag me there.
