Personally I think Bruce is amazing - Aoey could have been a cardboard-cutout villain, but he gave him depth and made him sympathetic. It would be hard to find anyone better.
Personally, it's because it is a BL show without "love" due to lack of chemistry even up to the latest episode.…
I admit Kang In Soo isn't exactly shining in this role, whereas Jang Eui Soo has way more charisma - but I think until this last ep the show was more docused on the comedy and trying to keep the secret.
We probably miss a lot due to not speaking Korean to understand the actual poety. You could tell just from the subtitles that Kim Tae Hyung's poety was terrible, and I'm assuming Ryu Ho Sun's was beautiful.
I honestly have no idea what anyone is talking about - I love it. I wish they'd cast a better actor than Kang…
The first part of the show is packed with the two of them struggling to keep the secret, and you can imagine neither of them are in the best mood about the situation - once Jang Eui Soo shows up it starts to heat up.

And he looks great in form-fitting knit shirts.
Yes, this was really bad writing and casting, if that's what they were going for. The should have reversed the actors for Aoey & Tum if that's what they were going for. The whole thing came out of nowhere and made no sense.
I don't get why so many people dislike this. Did you think you were going to get a serious drama about a man that dresses up as a woman? It's definitely a BL, and it revs up once Kim Tae Hyung shows up. That does underscore the biggest problem with the series, which is Kang In Soo is not as strong an actor as the other two. Jang Eui Soo has so much presence that when he's coming onto "her" strong, I have to fan myself. His eyes are so beautiful they're hard to look at. And he's clearly smitten with "her" brother. Other than his terrible poetry, it's hard to imagine picking her husband over him.
Patiently waiting till it's over to start watching it haha.If it's bad, i'll skip over and enjoy the train wreck…
I honestly have no idea what anyone is talking about - I love it. I wish they'd cast a better actor than Kang In Soo, because he's not keeping up with the other two, but it's still better than most other BLs.

Wait a minute - should we be saying that just because she has a couple of masculine qualities that she should be a lesbian? The interesting thing about their relationship is that it was defying traditional gender roles. To me they ruined it by Tiffy being unable to believe Tum was straight because he can sew - until he rapped, which for some reason makes him straight? That was really awful and I don't care about them anymore.
That being said, I totally agree there should be some GL, or at least serious L representation.
Hearthbreak Mountain? Do you mean Brokeback Mountain?
Brokeback Mountain made me FEELL awful, but the movie was excellent. Heartbreak Mountain is a Filipino amateur production about a trans fairy (supernatural kind) enchanting three idiots. It so bad it's funny.
The last few episodes are not the best and this one was the worst, it was so boring I got depressed because I've…
I think they were trying to be funny by making the product placements so intrusive, but it wasn't funny - it's like they're using "comedy" as an excuse to put in a huge amount of it.
The family drama was well-acted, but as you said, it made no sense. Love is like a Japanese tea ceremony and a bonsai tree, and dads get mad and don't talk to you for days because... why exactly? When he explained it made no sense at all. If I were Gene I would have shouted "You were mad because ofTHAT?" and then I would have slapped him.
It's not just me, is? That episode was really boring? It had some really nice things in it, like that actor that plays Gene's day always owns every scene he's in, and the Gene/Nubsib relationship was working 100% for me, but the episode overall was a dud.
And how much product placement can you stuff into one episode?
Also, WTF with Tum and Tiffy? What kind of homophobic bullsh$% was that? Who would write something like that? He's gay because he can sew, but it's well known gays can't rap, so she believes him now? That was just offensive.
They're putting way too much into this story - this should have been edited down for the screenplay to concentrate on the main themes and relationship - all this strange backstory with everyone's family members etc. is too much. There're only 2 episodes left, but we had like a 15 minute scene of moms in an aerobics class. We got what the issue is with the garbage can scene - there was no need to belabor it - we're not stupid.
The faux-Japanese stuff was getting tiresome too. Just have people say what they mean, instead of building incredibly long and complicated analogies that aren't really all that applicable anyway.
If they didn't have so many good actors in this, I'll bet the reaction to this series would have been fairly negative.
I gave it two eps - it's just not watchable. I want to support Filipino BL, but there is nothing here. What is this about? So far it's about a stereotypical effeminate gay character who repeatedly fantasizes about his boss right in front of him. This trope is homophobic and offensive.
There are no compensating plusses - the acting is mediocre, the writing shallow and directionless.
I tried, but I couldn't get through it. I tried running it on 2x but it didn't help. This is awful. Not awful in a hilarious way like Hearthbreak Mountain, just dull and uninteresting. Thurs is really cute, but not cute enough to sit through this, although nobody is cute enough for it to be worth it to sit through this.
This episode was done so well. The first scene with Paper is just so heart rending. I really feel this drama has…
I had trouble getting into the first two eps, but it's really taken off for me since then. The acting is quite good, and the behavior is for the most part relatable and not OTT.
This show is absurdly cliched in almost every respect, but the acting and chemistry between and among couples…
The one way it's not cliched is that there are no clear semes & ukes. Possibly Chris & Jeno, but it's not as stark a divide as usual. Also, Paper didn't cure Sky's "ailment" with a damp towel, so that's unusual.
I never post a rating until I've completed a series, but so far I'm not crazy about it. For me, it's just boring,…
He didn't die - he was just the usual "mostly dead". I was a little surprised that Paper didn't pull out a hankerchief to dab his forehead with. All boys carry a magic hankerchief that can cure any ill. Also, even though Sky was in a coma, his spirit didn't wander around, which is odd. There must be something wrong with him. People in comas always have their spirits wander around or inhabit someone else's body. Sorry, I'm being silly today. Although the above is largely true.

He should just take his shirt off again if he wants to win her over. It worked for me.
That being said, I totally agree there should be some GL, or at least serious L representation.

What a waste of actors.
