Whoh, Pi's English is perfect - he even has a Californian accent. And Mix looks so much more handsome to me than he did in 1,000 Stars, but here he doesn't have to stand next to Earth all the time.
Anyway, for people commenting on the "changing yourself" issue, I think maybe the message is Pi should stop being a total asshole. He's awful, rude, and has no manners. I actually hate him. Mork is so kind and such a gentleman - way too good for that awful little worm.
It doesn't matter what you look like on the outside if you're ugly on the inside. And before anyone says he's just insecure, no. Sorry, that's not an excuse to be horrible to other people. I was insecure when I was that age, probably almost all of you have been too - but did you ever treat people like he does?
The writing and the pacing of this show has reallly improved throughout the series. Although I'm still bothered…
But you're also right, because Prab seems to be referring to him as a literal younger brother - it's just a touch more ambiguous than it is in English.
This series is quite a bit different than the others, because there's a huge age difference and they've been a…
That was actually Yong Jie's 20th birthday - he's really young. As great a job the actor is doing, it might have been more effective to cast someone who looks 20. But he's 25 and the actor playing Xing Si is 26 - because they look the same age, I think it diminishes the sense of what why Xing Si thinks any relations between them are noncon by coersion due to his greater age and role as elder brother.
Unknown because only 4 or 10 eps have aired. So far it has not been portrayed as a fantasy romantic relationship…
There's certainly a valid complaint to be made about how this series was marketed. I think there hasn't been much deception about the broadcast itself because they have very extensively labeled it with warnings. But I would certainly agree they lured a lot of people in that wouldn't have otherwise watched it.
The script itself is not messy at all - it's very tightly written with very little being extraneous. If you mean…
Yes, but neither did this, and that's not what the argument was - it was that just showing negative things can influence people to do them. If you can be influenced to do something wrong by seeing an image of something wrong, then there's a deeper problem in play.
If you want a more mundane example, there are a lot of shows that make pyschopaths sympathetic anti-heroes, like Game of Thrones, Dexter, etc. That doen't cause people to adopt psychopathy as a lifestyle, because most people know the difference between right and wrong. Actually, almost all people know the difference - some just don't care.

I couldn't help but respond to your bathtub scene comment. In my opinion, there was nothing 'infernal' or 'inappropriate'…
There's nothing wrong with having a sex dream - even if you murder someone in a dream you've done nothing wrong.
The red lighting and smoke was there for a reason, and Li Cheng was running his hand all the way down Mu Ren's body. If he really did that, it's not right. I don't think he did, but even a dream about doing it disturbed him.
The music was also an indicator of the intention of that scene.
The way Mu Ren was touching himself was deliberately strange and violent, like he was tearing at an itch or compelled.
The scene was one of the best in this series, maybe one of the best ever, because it was so artfully assembled and so deeply layered, psychological, and dark.
I love main couple from beginning. I think they super cute. The whole exploring of BL was super funny scene. They…
That is a beautiful thing to say, that must come from a beautiful person, but I don't think it's true. It is for 99% of people, but there are bad apples and they can't change - the sociopaths, and there appears to be a genetic element to that. I'm not sure anyone will ever fully understand the balance between nature and nurture, but there are people that are predatory and without empathy, compassion, or any constructive quality. Nobody has ever found a way to reform them, and your only defense is to steer clear of them - or if they're violent in dangerous, keep them away from society.
Yong Si is not a sociopath. He never lies, what he does is miguided but not malicious, and if he were evil he wouldn't be willing to sacrifice his own well-being for anyone else as he does without hesitation. Putting him in prison would destroy him and serve no purpose.
I don't understand why this season is getting this level of hate... Yong Jie is clearly a deeply depressed human…
Just from my own experience with Asian corporations, he'd be transferred for the company to save face then quietly eliminated. That's how it's done. You can't make a mistake that big and still keep your career. He should be in prison, but the world isn't fair.
The acting in the bathtub scene was fantastic - like frigheningly realistic, but I think people are really missing that Li Cheng was touchingMu Ren in a transgressive way considering his state. It was just a dream, so he didn't necessarily really do that, but there is often a double standard - when people want a couple they'll overlook a lot more than they will for a couple they don't want.
The point of that scene was to show Li Cheng has feelings of guilt and shame associated with that night.
Heh, this episode. Wow. Tri don't do this to me. I just need you to be with the twins. Be with one or both, I'm…
My theory is that the one that was angry is bad and will do something inappropriate - he did touch Maping in a suspect way early on. The other one has had plenty of opportunity to trangress, but he hasn't.
Who is the Frog Prince? My wild guess would be Chol's father! LOL
OMG.
I've always said I'm suspicious of that man. Straight guys are obviously not allowed in this town, so it's only a matter of time before Prab's mother is disappointed.
Wow, another BL miracle happened: someone was feeling insecure, overreacted and behaved in an immature way causing a failure of communication, went away to go cool down for a couple of hours, then went back to apologize for being immature and talking it through.
Normally there would be montage of good times spend together to sad music, lots of shots of them sitting alone, and taking up 2-3 episodes for unnecessary sulking and pining.
It almost made the show's most boring couple interesting.
On the confusing side of things, why did Prab tell Chon he'd buy him dessert, then take him to a hardware store instead to buy a bunch of seriously random things they don't need?
I think the writer realized there are only four episodes left because there was more plot progression this ep than we usually see.
Normally a show that's this sweet and wholesome would make me nauseated, but somehow this works for me.
