Actually, I'm expressing an opinion, whereas you're launching a personal attack, so who is being hateful?
Bun almost always recoils when Tan comes on to him , not just in that one scene. They're trying to have it both ways, implying they're sexually active, while still being prudish.
The shaky cam and evil music is so heavy handed that it's distracting, and in the case of the music gives away too much of the plot. I thought the judge was one of the only people that was good until now, but it was immediately obvious this episode that he was a villain because of the ominous music whenever he was in a scene.
This episode was disappointing compared to what we've seen before - as I said, it feels like a different and less capable person directed it.
The first one you mentioned was 100% LOL obvious because the music was so incredibly ominous in his/her scenes…
Whenever they showed the judge the music was so evil sounding that it made me laugh, and ruined the surprise that he was a villain because he more or less had to be.
Sorry, I can't do it anymore. I'm very happy for a show to finance itself with some product placement, but there was absolutely nothing else in this entire episode. The Chiang Mai chamber of commerce, those two retauarants, and the perfume company certainly got their money's worth.
Seriously, there was zero plot progression . I was OK with the first four eps, but this was just painful to get though, even on 2x. I don't think there was more than a 20 second stretch at a time that wasn't advertising.
not only Thai series, but another country is also doing a lot of weird BL series
I'm the opposite. Thai BLs are formulaic with largely terrible actors. But some people like cute boys being cute with each other and want nothing else, and Thai BLs are better for that - they have that fairly tale quality that I liked at first, but there's only so many pink shirts and engineers a person can take.
Filipino BL tends to have an LGBTQ+ sensibility with more realistic relationships, and I can see why that might be off-putting to many people.
Both countries have good stuff - I don't see what it has to be a competition.

Yes, but the Philippines makes up for it with their A-tier series, which are spectacularly good. The Thais have I Told Sunset About You, and that's about it. It's all just tired and formulaic. At least Filipino BL tries new things, even if some of them are duds.
Okay, two episodes in and while both couples are cringeworthy, at least Tam × Tokyo make me smile a little. Hopefully…
Unfortunately it appears to be the other way around. Tokyo is super cute, but all there is to the BL couple is cuteness, and I find that kind of exploitative and not terribly interesting.
I suspected the judge, but not Officer Gun!! I thought him and Inspector M were the only clean ones! Speaking…
The first one you mentioned was 100% LOL obvious because the music was so incredibly ominous in his/her scenes that there was really little other option but supervillain status.
I started with this drama since it's a high rated BL. I just watched the first ep so I was wondering guys if you'd…
There is not a lot of BL content, but there are some good BL moments, mostly with the secondary couple, who get about 30 seconds of screen time except an imagination sequence, which will almost certainly make you cry it's so touching. Regarding MaxTul, if you like big tall muscular 20-something men behaving like 12 year olds in their first relationship, you'll like this.
On the bright side, there's a cop with a ridiculous body who is dressed 100% of the time in clothes that are so tight you can count his abs through his uniform. So fu#$ing hot.
In short, this is a big investment of time if you're looking for BL, and the payoff is not so great thusfar. I'm enoying the series, but less and less each episode.
Though I enjoy this kind of mystery story a lot and love maxtul's chemistry, there is something that is making…
I feel the same way. There are too many things that don't really make sense or work. Like when Tan was going to kiss Bun, who recoiles as if a rapist were attacking him instead of his bf. Two men in their 20s in a new relationship - yeah, there would be a LOT going on that would be R-rated, but Bun behaves as if he's 12 and hasn't had his first kiss yet.
The crime story has become stale and uninteresting, plus, it feels like there's more than one director. Ep 12 was filmed differently than the others, with lower quality and the shaky cam, which makes no sense to use in static shots where people are just sitting and talking. It's annoying.
Also, they need to stop telegraphing who is evil with the music - it ruins the suspense and surprise. Did anyone NOT know Rungtiva was a villain, with the scary music and dark lighting around her? Was anyone really surprised about the person who was bad in this episode? Darth Vader has less ominous music.
The police tactics - kick in the door and run blind into a dark room? How could anyone miss with automatic weapons?
None of these wouldn't be a big deal in isolation, but they add up.
Personal very minor peeve: it's "I'll go NOW", not "I'll go FIRST." They mean totally different things and the latter makes whoever says it sound like a dick.
Dr. Cousin is indeed so fine, but he's a serious dick. I'd still do him, but it would be a hate-sex thing.
I see. I had interpreted that as sour grapes, but you're probably right. Maybe it's because I want Shi De for myself and it's hard to imagine how anyone could NOT feel that way!

I'm not so sure - didn't he want Shi De for himself? It felt to me like he was trying to sabotage them. In any case, I like the doctor character, and I'm excited for the next series! Arrgh, I can't wait that long!

Yes, but he's still a dick. An affective disorder is not an excuse to be terrible to other people. I can understand a lack of emotional energy to cope with situations, or even impatient responses, but Doc is aggressively, actively awful (but I'd still let him do me).
I do like him as a character, though - it's always a plus to have an original and consistently-drawn character.
The face to face scenes aren't that distracting it's the slowly pulling out a ice cold bottle of oishi and taking…
To me the face-to-face scenes are worse, because it's so unrealistic, a tired cliche, and lazy, lazy writing. If you can't portray people developing an attraction for each other without something that contrived and silly, you should not be allowed to write. Two men put in a position like that will immediately step apart to a socially acceptable distance, even if they're attracted to each other. It's weird and creepy.
Fortunately the better BLs don't do product placements that are quite that bad., but I saw one with sausages too, and it wasn't Friend Zone! But I remember just staring at the screen with my mouth open, it was so awkward and inappropriate. Why is it always food and drinks? Maybe there are other products we just don't recognize as placements. There have been times where I wondered if the clothing was product placement.
