I want to finish Lost You Forever which has been recommended to me a lot. After that I don't know. How was When Destiny Brings the Demon for you? I haven't seen it yet, only clips and reels.

I think it was supposed to be related to his near-death experience. But yes, I agree that last twist came too fast. From his POV, Li Xun had taken everything he wanted, even the love of a girl he liked. The moment he attacked Li Na was very strong for me, it showed that he wasn't motivated by love but only by wanting to take/keep things and people from Li Xun like Li Xun had done with him. He just wanted to be like Li Xun after all. It was a sort of obsession, like twisted worship of an idol.

Exactly! And it being for the sake of the plot is not reason enough for me. The characters should still be credible. Though I do think they put a lot of effort into building Gao Jianhong's character. I'm not sure about the ending, that might have been done differently, but I felt all his frustration during the first half of the drama. So I understood his decision to turn against Li Xun. From his POV it had always been a love-hate thing. He couldn't deal with him but could never succeed without Li Xun either.
I really, really loved 99 % of this but the thing he did that got him sentenced to prison was so underwhelming. With his level of intelligence and all that preparation, why resort to this? Why not find another way, or another time and place? That was just plain stupid. If it hadn't been planned, I could've accepted it. But not like that. I understand, story-wise, why they did it - he couldn't do anything that might have put him in prison for a longer time. But surely they could've chosen anything else. Idk, breaking into that guy's house and stealing the award, selling it and giving the money to charity (he could go to prison for that). Or just attacking him without witnesses (same prison sentence). Hacking into the antagonist's private computer and sharing some photos of him and the dead friend of the FL to bring to light the injustice she suffered, and maybe he'll find something else there, I mean, use your imagination. I'm sure if I think about it for half an hour, I can give you a list of 10 possibilities that are better than the one they chose IMO. Looking at the comment section, it seems I'm the only one troubled by this. I mean, it's still a 9.5 for me. But it might have been a 10/10 otherwise...
i just realized after finishing ep 1 that its not where the story starts. i hate when dramas show the future first…
I thought exactly the same when I started it but it still got me hooked! The leads are that good. I just finished it an hour ago. I hope you continued and enjoyed it as much as I did!
Read the novel for a happy ending. I truly hate adaptations that doesnt follow the novel’s plot, especially…
Do you have any recommendations on where to read it (in English)? I don't think it's available as a book in my country, is there an official English title of the novel?
TBH Kids suffer the most from divorce and thats Facts
If the parents stay together solely for the kids but are really unhappy, that'll affect the children too. I guess it also depends on the country you live in, there are so many divorced people here that it's not a stigma. Some parents get along better after divorce and take turns with the kids and make the decisions together. It's still sad and I wish we were living in a world in which such things weren't necessary.
For some reason i really dont like our female lead... not even through the first ep....So a dude cant carry a…
She's not a school bully, so far it was all misunderstandings. They show one side first and then the other, so you see both his perspective and hers. But if you think the writer is retarded for including a physically weak person, maybe this drama isn't your cup of tea. He might have a problem with his back, or maybe he already carried all the stuff into the room and is exhausted, of maybe he just doesn't have much strength. There are people like that. Or just see it as a joke, bc this drama shouldn't be taken too seriously.
I had this on hold, just restarted and am not regretting at all! This time I'll definitely finish it. Also had to laugh at the way they were talking about the energy inside, just as if it was a baby. Even the tone of voice and the facial expression match 😂

Thanks, anyway!
Watching dramas that are still airing is so tiring 😅
