I dunno guys, I dunno. If I have to watch 2 more seasons of this I might go insane. I can already imagine how frustrating the second season's ending is going to be.
Ending of episode 20 was unreal. I did not see that coming. I felt like it was a game of clue lol. Killed by the Maid in the Study with the Knife. I'm shook that Ju Dan Tae pinned it on her. I was convinced he was into her and was determined to just take his wife down in a different way. Man, this opens new doors for the remaining seasons!
I love this drama, but I'm hoping they don't drag it out for 2 more seasons. Everything is coming together so nicely! Things can end well!! Let's not ruin a good thing here!
I've got like 6 episodes to go, but I need to drop this. I really love the leads, but I just can't get into it. I'm sure its probably a decent watch, but it's too boring.
I'm pretty impressed with this drama so far. I had no expectations, but generally those that were once webtoons -> drama's turn out pretty good imo. The FL is an amazing actress?! I think she's hilarious! For any TW drama watchers out there, doesn't she remind you of Joe Chen? haha Super excited for the rest!
I honestly really liked this movie! Park So Yi's acting was so cute and sad, and Sung Dong Il is amazing as always. The two played very beautifully side by side. Comedic relief by Kim Hee Won was also very much appreciated. I think its worth a watch overall.
I VERY RARELY ever have second lead syndrome, but yo, if you're not rooting for Han Ji Pyung I just don't understand. This man is everything. I realize I'm rooting for a sinking ship, but maybe...just maybe there's hope!?
I can totally understand why people would dislike this drama, if I'm being honest, I probably would have disliked it too had I not related so much with Hye Joon. Without getting into specifics, there are scenes in there that have absolutely mirrored my life, and it gives me so much satisfaction in knowing that there are enough people out there that have felt the same in their youth. In the most recent episode, watching him lie to his grandpa like that, breaking inside but pretending to be happy, I'm sure so many people can relate. For that reason, this drama is a hit in my eyes.
I had an inkling after episode 3 that things with this drama were going to get messy. Does anyone else find that there is just so much inconsistency in the whole plot? What even is the objective here? I guess the overarching theme is that she wants to find her parents...but idk it just doesn't seem like enough of a plot.
Then the whole godlike vs humans is so odd. What is Lee Yeon's purpose in the world? How come he has so much free time to not catch "bad guys." And why does the little brother not get punished for hurting others while Lee Yeon does? How come Lee Yeon has all these random powers even though he's no longer the mountain god? He can just call on his former mountain god status? Idk it just seems off.
LDW & KKB are obvious eye candies here, and I'm for it, but I wish the plot was just more organized. Also, I mentioned this before with some bits of the OST, but now even the plot gives me Harry Potter vibes lol.
Honestly, of all the popular onogoing drama's rn this is the probably the best one (imo). I think this drama definitely has its flaws, (there are a couple) but it's not glaring or bad enough that I can't watch it. It definitely gives me Goblin / Korean Odyssey vibes. Also, does anyone hear the Harry Potter theme song from the background in some of the episodes?
