Lol both this and Private Lives didn't get me during the pilot episode but the 2nd episode reeled me in. Looking…
I couldn't even get halfway through the first ep of Private Lives. I'm wondering if I should just give it another shot... But this one was much better at grabbing attention, so I might keep to this one.
Honestly a really big fan of this drama! Reminds me of the Reply/Hospital playlist series with the plot. Episode 10 was really good! I like how there's not love "triangle" per-se. I hope they don't play that up, or I'll be so frustrated.
Did you notice that they're still in the year 2018 ?
Okay yeah! I thought I was going crazy. I thought I remembered seeing something like that, and I just commented about how I thought there was going to be a time jump, but then I rewatched a bit of the first episode and realized I couldn't find it anymore, so I was like ... huh maybe I imagined it?
So far, so good for me. I can totally see why people would be bored. But the cute bromance, actual romance, family dynamic, as well as the manager all keep me interested. I don't think I necessarily feel the chemistry, but is anyone else anticipating a time jump? Why do I feel like there'll be one. I'm here for it - I think it would be interesting. Nervous cause I saw that a lot of people are not a fan of this writers work, so I'm going to hold hope that this one is different!!
I found the end was still great, despite that. But better spoiler tag your comment for those who have yet to see…
Yes, big appreciation for not recovering his memories, but instead having the ability to start fresh with new ones. He can now genuinely try and understand how to love and be loved by his family without pretending to be someone he's not.
Lol you're not missing much as you can imagine. I only finished it out of loyalty to the time I dedicated.

I agree. I also groaned at the reuse of it, but I think the way they carried it out was really good. Especially the meaning behind it. At least it wasn't like BOF lol
I freaking love LJG. Though I haven't seen all his drama's I get a sense that he likes playing these not-bad-not-good-in-between characters. I love it cause there's so much complexity and depth you have to show as an actor and he does it so well. I'm so impressed that he can go from be scared of me to love me i'm scared in a matter of seconds. Anyways, it's been a joy watching this - i'm sad for this to end! I hope LJG doesn't wait too long after!
This drama was a tough pill to swallow. Halfway through I realized that I should be prepared for things to continuously go downhill. Lee Joon Gi did not disappoint. His acting is so fantastic, I can literally think about his face right now and cry. The range of emotions he displays on his face throughout the drama is absolutely heartbreaking - even when he's happy I cry. It's almost like I can see his heart. Anyways, I don't think I'll be able to watch this again. Though I would be willing to give the Chinese version a try. I'll be honest no Joon Gi will be hard, but I am tempted to see how different it plays out.
+ tw for suicide attempt (time: 38:00 to 39:07) u can just skip this minute if u can't bear to watch it
Don't want to get into the war zone, but also wanted to commend your tw. I personally wasn't, but watching you have to defend yourself to someone who clearly just doesn't get it is painful. Thanks for doing it with grace. Keep on keeping on.
Wow didn't know he signed with JYP. I've watched all of his drama's so far, (ironically all in 2020 because of quarantine) and I'm incredibly impressed with his acting. He's chosen his roles really well, and you can tell he's got an amazing future ahead. I don't want to compare, but I see a lot of Choi Woo Shik in him.
OMG YES YES YES! I waited until I caught up to come post but I'm so happy with how this drama has unfolded!! Unbelievable acting all around, and plot is enough to keep you on your toes. Though I wish they played out the is he isn't he bad longer. I missed Lee Joon Gi - such an OG. Moon Chae Won also doing incredibly well. Their relationship as husband and wife is so well portrayed I'm really impressed! There is so much emotion worn on their expressions. Love the daughter as well - huge props she radiates warmth. I really enjoy Seo Hyun Woo as well, his scenes offer some much needed comic relief.
All around amazing watch - I have no expectations really for the ending (hoping for a happy one ... ) but however it ends I trust that it'll be right.
I really wanted to love this drama, but found it to be too slow of a pace for me. Though I did appreciate the acting, it was very good all around. Perhaps I'm not in the right headspace right now for this drama. Maybe i'll try a couple years later.
Han Se Jin + Yoo Jin Oh dominated this drama! I'm so impressed with the duo and the storyline. DAMN. That's all I can say. I loved all the aspects of this drama and I'm so happy I decided to watch it. Definitely worth the watch and hype imo.
I don't know where this all went wrong for me, but it was probably the exes. Skip all the parts where you see them and the drama itself is great! I'm excited for this to end though. It's time.
