fair enough - it was definitely not on my top10 list for Canada, so that's probably why I thought it wasn't very highly rated

I think this is a pretty underrated drama. The leads are great, acting is pretty spot on, and chemistry is definitely there. Ya, it's a little slow pace, but I think it really allows us to watch the characters develop their feelings for each other. I'd prefer it this way than to have them be in love out of nowhere. I felt like I've seen their journey.

Maybe it's cause I'm fresh off watching My Demon lol but I really think this drama ticks all the right boxes.

Idk if it's because I'm older now, but this drama did not hit the way I was expecting it to. I can imagine a younger version of me swooning like crazy over this, but man watching this was tough. It definitely started out strong, but near the halfway mark I was struggling to finish.

The plot felt so incomplete, like they just glossed over some pretty important things, and the chemistry was there at the end, but it kind of felt like it popped out of nowhere? It kind of happened in a course of an episode they're like i hate you -> i love you. Love Kim You Jung though, and i'll always be a fan because of TMTETS.

The chemistry of the cast is no joke - I love how much they support each other. This last episode was so cute!

I foresee incredible sadness coming as Deok Chul exhibits more and more symptoms of Alzheimers/Dementia. I bet he knew too, which would explain his urgency in learning ballet asap, and why he knows he is running out of time.

I'm a sucker for relationships between grandparents and young adults (Start Up anyone?). The more I watch this, the more I just love the relationship between Chae Rok and Deok Chul. They're such a pair, helping each other grow personally in their own areas of expertise. It honestly makes my heart so so warm. When Deok Chul put his hand over Chae Rok's foot, CR face honestly made me want to melt. That was so heartwarming.

I knew from the get-go I had to watch this drama. So far, everything is perfect. I think everyone's been cast incredibly well, and I am so excited to continue watching everything unfold. I've already had a couple moments of tears (I mean, if you've seen episode 4 how can you not0, and no doubt there will be more, but I am so excited!

Run On, Record of Youth and Lovestruck in the City I felt were also good slice of life drama's this year.

OYH better be alive man! I'm still rooting for her happy ending. I predict she is alive (some rando pulls her out of Han River) but she looses her memory lol. I hope that s3 brings us all the satisfaction that we need. Also wtf is going on with Eun Byol's household. Everyone who's come from there is legit goes bonkers. Unsure of how the maid will change up the plot but that was weird af.

Yo episode 10 left me shook!! What?! First off, I knew my girl Ro Na wasn't dead. For sure that's her calling at the end scene there. I didn't see the Ju Dan Tae killing Bae Ro Na plot twist coming at all. I know that at the beginning people pointed out that she had a wing stuck to her head and Eun Byeol didn't stab her in the head with the trophy so that makes sense (I kind of just accepted that it happened ie: Eun Byeol killed Ro Na). Also, does anyone think Ro Na is ACTUALLY Yoon Chul's daughter?! I feel like that was an overlooked BOMB. I don't think the timing really makes sense, but if it was true, damn. That would be an incredibly twist and huge irony in everything that Yoon Chul has done thus far for Eun Byeol. I am secretly hoping that Yoon Chul gets his head out of his arse and realizes that he was an absolute fool for covering everything up (which literally was for nothing cause now we know who really killed her). AHH WILD. I'm so excited to see everyone team up! Let's take Ju Dan Tae down once and for all ya'll!!

I am so disappointed in Ha Yoon Chul. UGHH I almost rage quit watching cause I was so frustrated. What are you doing man?! I hope that Ha Yoon Chul wake the F up and realizes he's only making things worse for himself and his daughter. Ha Eun Byeol has somehow succeeded in making herself even less likeable to me. I'm banking on Bae Ro Na not being dead, since they only said she was brain dead, which in Kdrama notes means she's just sleeping until the perfect moment to be woken up and used for the plot.

Excited by the return of SSR (or whomever she is), and can't wait to see what happens there!

I only accept this remake because 15 years has been a long enough time that it makes sense. I really loved the OG Goong, so I'm definitely excited to see the new casting and how the modern day film industry will give it a new face!

nonononononono. no. let's not confuse mistake for crime. Also, ya I've seen true beauty - A) it's fake, and B) not sure if you're insinuating that bullying someone will inherently lead them to the love of their life, but that's delusional, and C) If I took anything away from True Beauty its that because of her constant bullying, she was traumatized to feel like nobody would like her unless she was beautiful. She hid her face from literally everyone she knew and was too scared to ever confront her bullies. Imagine how the victims of his abuse felt?!

This movie imo is a classic. No matter how old I get, I will always come back to it for a good laugh. Thinking of this movie today after the news of Ng Man Tat's passing, but grateful for the gems he's left behind. <3

Shaolin Soccer has been and always continue to be one of my favourite movies of all time. He will always be remembered and loved. <3

For anyone who is deciding whether or not to watch it based solely on who she chooses, you can figure it out by reading the webtoon. I highly doubt that they'll be deviating far from that ending.

I am HERE for Oh Yoon Hee and Ha Yoon Chul's revenge! I'll admit that Oh Yoon Hee isn't really the character I'm rooting for - at the same time I think by now each character has done something rather despicable - but I can't wait to see what they have in store. Only 2 episodes in and I have so many questions. I wasn't sure how they'd pull off a season 2, but so far, so good! I have high hopes!
