Please can someone please create a page for the Chinese BL short The Racer and His Dr. Perfect. It’s so good! This BL gave me actual butterflies in my stomach. Watch it, and you’ll understand exactly why. LOL
I love him BECAUSE he’s a black flag 😌 people should stop being so prudish when it comes to tv shows 🙄
Let them keep crying. I remember some of them complained about Chi Cheng in Revenged Love, Hua Yong in ABO Desire, and Joe from Thai BL My Stand in which was derived from a Chinese novel. If they are too toxic DROP IT.
These days, i don’t bother watching BL i don’t like, especially when it feels too childish. Just leave your comment and move on if it’s not for you.
Yes Fan Xiao is a black flag, toxic, messy but that’s exactly what makes him compelling. He’s written to be uncomfortable, contradictory, and morally grey. You Shulang chose to forgive him. Their dynamic works because it’s complicated, it’s not clean and it’s not moral perfection. That tension between desire, resentment, power, and forgiveness is what makes their story hit so hard.
And to the so-called morality police please take a rest. Not every story is meant to be soft, fluffy, or comforting if that is what you want then Chinese BL is simply not for you, and that’s okay. There’s plenty of content out there that fits your taste. But demanding that dark, morally complex stories be watered down to suit your comfort level defeats the entire purpose. These stories are written to explore power, desire, conflict, and contradiction not to pass a moral purity test. Let people enjoy fiction as fiction.
NOTE: Words on the street is that Xia Liuyi from Chusan’s Liuyi Children’s Day (which is getting a movie adaptation) is worse than Fan Xiao😏
Let them stick to soft, fluffy BL from Korea and Thailand (which I like sometimes)and leave the dark romance for us.🙄💀💜
I wish it was more than 10 mins.
I would like to see them together in another BL.
I haven't started watching Sculpted Light yet.
