10 dance movie is a beautiful story with incredible chemistry between both actors, and acknowledging that doesn’t reduce it to “obsession with sex.”
Even as a hardcore stan, i will always choose a strong script, solid acting, and genuine chemistry without an NC scene over a BL with a terrible script, weak performances, zero chemistry with nothing but NC scenes to compensate. Wanting more intimacy doesn’t mean ignoring storytelling, it means appreciating when a connection feels real enough to make you want more.
At the end of the day, it’s about quality, not shock value.
I still can't get over their chemistry... to think that Ryoma and Keita have known each other for a long time and have been friends for years—they previously worked together in the 2016 film titled Sumika Sumire.
Let me take this moment to worship Takeuchi Ryoma’s body, because those muscles were doing unspeakable things to my sanity. This is the kind of physique that demands attention, appreciation, and prolonged staring. Absolutely sinful.
First of all, as a hardcore stan, i won’t lie i wish they had sex. The kisses alone were something else, especially that final kiss. It was breathtaking, intimate.
Watching 10 Dance put me through a whirlwind of emotions. It’s beautifully made, unpredictable, and refreshingly bold. I’m really hoping Netflix gives us a sequel, though i’m not holding my breath.
Huge kudos to Ryoma and Keita they both delivered something special. And i absolutely have a crush on Aki (Sugiki’s dance partner).
I truly hope this is a sign of more mature, layered BL coming out of Japan, because honestly, i’m exhausted by endlessly fluffy BLs. I remember when we used to have at least one or two matured BL in a year from Japan back then.
