I think some of the Chongwu camp works for the bad guys, but I think that PSJ and the current camp leader work for the King or Prime Minister and they’re there to spy on both sides.
I know that a lot of people are talking about the ratings and heat index, but I just wanna say that nothing would…
That’s lovely and I agree. However, ratings are how platforms attract advertisers and how the crews will get selected for upcoming projects so it matters 😫. However, FoF actually improved is ratings today despite the assault on it by competitors. iQIYI has also stated that the have seen increased traffic and subscription rates, and they were the number 1 streaming platform last week. It feels like it could become a cult hit, especially overseas.
Episodes 14 & 15 are exactly how to add excitement and suspense to a story! Amazingly, well done. I think it’s also hard to predict what comes next. That’s also a rarity these days.
I can’t blame them. It’s a smart strategy. That’s one of the reasons why I support FoF so hard. I like the underdog. For me, it’s a bit like 2 students taking a national exam who both get the same high score. However, one took $20K of preparatory courses and had private tutors. The other student just used their own natural talent. I will always find the latter more impressive than the former.
As someone with a younger brother, PSJ and PSH's story hit all the wrong spots lmao I'd prolly throw myself off…
It isn’t easy, but you have to value honor. Or are you saying that even if your brother were a serial killer or a person that committed genocide, you would still protect the, instead of upholding the truth and the law?
LOL…so on Weibo, they’ve now started inserting clips from Esther Yu’s show into the FoF feeds. I have encountered it 3 times in the last 8 hours. Because her show looks somewhat similar to FoF, it’s easy to think that it’s for FoF and click on it, thereby driving up the SM numbers for Yu’s show.
That is the power of having the budget of an S+ drama and rich parents!
There’s some great, heavy discussions about what to expect next in the threads below. I’m loving it! On a lighter note, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a director use so many intense close ups. It’s good for the audience because I think it pulls you more into the character. But, damn, that camera had to be right up in their faces. Everybody HAD to be beautiful 👹😁. Hats off to their wonderful makeup artist and crew
"Fei never knew I volunteered to be sealed in the villa with him". Fuck. Break me, show! She actually loved him…
But…it seemed more selfish than selfless once she sees Fei’s “true colors”. She also doesn’t seem that sad when he dies. Did she cry? In any case, I hope she gets a more interesting ending
