For me personally, there are many points, but the list would become far too long for a simple commentary. In short,…

Max specifically saying kawi should see a psychiatrist, not just go to rehab ...the sense of unrealness around…
Would explain the dreamlike quality of the beach scene. Pisaeng was so extra himself like a Pisaeng who is as Kawi remembers him to be 😰

Kawi has feelings for Pear, knowing that do you think is it ok okay to force yourself on someone ? That's why…
Kawi kissed Pisaeng which shows them both that Kawi may not be as in love with Pear as he claims. That was a chance for Pisaeng to at least ask questions but before Kawi could say anything, Pisaeng decided for them both that the kiss didn’t matter.

Do you think Pisaeng should continue as he is? Doesn’t he need to grow too? Kawi is also at fault which is very much discussed in the many posts here but Kawi is growing and continuing to grow. Why can’t Pisaeng grow too? If they get together and the issue with his mother comes up, would he as he is now have the courage to face her? We already saw his willingness to suffer by marrying Pear in the first timeline and his willingness to suffer as a mere friend of Kawi in ep 7 so would he still continue to just suffer? What’s the point then?

I guess people are fine with Pisaeng as he is because he’s only hurting himself unlike Kawi who is shown to cause hurt to others. But doesn’t Pisaeng deserves happiness too? He can’t rely on others for his happiness, not even Kawi. He must take action himself.

Pursuing and forcing are two different things. He needs to be able to state that he wants Kawi for himself. He could have courted Kawi like Kawi is courting Pear. Instead he’s all ā€˜i’m a patient guy’, ā€˜i wanna be your comfort zone’, ā€˜i’m okay’. They sound good in the moments they were spoken but if you factor in 10 years of waiting, those statements begin to sound like excuses.

And that’s just it, he needs to learn to speak for himself. His nature of holding things in would not give him the happiness he wants. Sure he’ll say he’s happy being mere friends with Kawi but is he completely happy? The face he made when Kawi held Pear’s hands in the hospital tells me he isn’t.

Pisaeng lacks courage. The courage to pursue what he wants and needs.

His lack of courage resulted in him marrying Pear knowing he was gay in the original timeline. The same lack of courage has now resulted in him being Kawi’s comfort zone for a decade.

I’ve read somewhere that Kawi should have his turn to pursue Pisaeng and he should suffer just a bit like Pisaeng suffered. But when had Pisaeng ever pursued Kawi? Sure he was nice to Kawi but that is not pursuing. When given a chance to confess, he instead avoided it (ep 2) or confessed because he already knew the answer (ep 5). And in that latest rooftop scene, he didn’t wanna discuss the kiss, didn’t have the courage to face the possibilities of the kiss or Kawi’s thoughts on the kiss. He had a chance there and not only did he not take it, he also kept pushing Kawi towards Pear.

In a way, Pisaeng is like Kawi. Kawi who has so very little confidence in himself that he shut himself off from the world. Pisaeng in turn lacks courage to pursue Kawi that he was fine being Kawi’s comfort zone just like he didn’t have the courage to come out so he ended up marrying Pear. Pisaeng even lacks the courage to simply walk away. Both of them anticipates rejection/failure so they don’t even try.

As Kawi was pushed to take action when he gained the means to time travel, Pisaeng too needed a push. And Kawi is that push. Kawi’s presence in his life has pushed him to face Pear and to face his sexuality. In smaller ways, Kawi’s sudden appearance in his life gave Pisaeng the push to distance himself from Not and his friends.

Just like Kawi who has a lot of things to learn, Pisaeng also has a lot to learn. One of that is courage to go pursue what he wants even if he’d get rejected. He needs to learn that no one could push him towards the things he wants better than himself. Not his mother, not even Kawi. After all, Pisaeng would need all the courage to face the looming threat that is his mother.

Since more time passes, I start to think differently about this series. Well, something was off with my anyway…
Let’s not forget that this is a show premised on time travel. Episode 7 is a prime example of the butterfly effect which is changes in the past no matter how small can have very grave consequences in the future. Or a single flap of a butterfly’s wings may cause a typhoon kind of thought.

I don’t think this show is about fated love cause just as Kawi did not end up with Pear in any timeline, Kawi also did not end up with Pisaeng with any of those timelines. I don’t think Kawi deciding to be with Pisaeng will give him a good future too the same as when he decided to pursue Pear, get his dad medical help, make up with Max, and avoid/friendzone Pisaeng which he all succeeded to do yet that didn’t give him the future he wanted.

A good future isn’t about checking off boxes on a list. So even if he checks off the box which says get together with Pisaeng, there is no assurance he would find a good future when he turns that magical orb again.

The magical uncle did say that the most effective approach for a better future is to think less of the future and instead make most of the present but kawi should first be sure where his present is. This is ultimately what Kawi should determine and learn.

I guess Pear is consistent, her character that is. Coz when Pisaeng turned her down, Pear almost immediately jumped to Kawi. And when she broke up with Kawi, she quickly jumped into Not’s arms.

Hahaha though I think the continuation of the scene has already been shown in BMF stories.

I am convinced that Kawi makes it a habit to get drunk and kiss Pisaeng, and this kiss is the final straw.
Yeah. There was definitely a look of pain in the first few seconds of the kiss 😣

Kawi was also kind of selfish imo that is why Pisaeng went away for months. He probably kept giving Pisaeng hope…
Exactly and that’s why BMF reminds me of japanese slice of life dramas. Everyone doing their best yet somehow committing all the mistakes. A story where there isn’t a traditional villain. Just them, living life, committing and learning mistakes until they get it right or as right as they could make it.

Dude when Kawi returned to the future while Pisaeng was there was so well done! It shocked me speechless!

I worry about how Pear will react to finding out that Kawi loves Pisaeng and not her. She got rejected by her…
Wasn’t there picture released showing Kawi looking guilty with Pisaeng on the armchair and both facing Pear? So maybe lol

Hmm. The more I think about it the more a lot of things don't sit right with me. The episode felt disjointed like…
I think it is supposed to feel disjointed. Kawi got everything right yet somehow everyone ended up miserable except for that other guy. The changes are supposed to shock the audience. There is a lesson to be learned here which I guess goes to your second point about giving the present/past a shot and now committing to really live in it.

I kinda like the singing here. Breaks the tension and they aren’t the full songs so it doesn’t take up too much of the episode. Plus the pacing and the plot moves so fast that the singing doesn’t take anything away from the plot.

Today's episode confused me a little but maybe I missed something in an earlier episode or simply forgot when…
The few times he traveled back to the future were too short and Kawi was preoccupied first by his ability to turn back time and second, the kiss. I guess the series chose to be vague about that aspect in the first episodes since it wasn’t relevant to the plot yet. So yes it seems he has all the memory of the past 8 to 10 years.
