I hope they do more interviews together. Really enjoyed knowing their thoughts on their characters and how they approached intimate scenes. Plus it’s fun to see how krist is so well versed in fanservice while gawin is just consciously trying his best. But in the few times where gawin succeeded, the fan service was so good even krist gets momentarily shocked 😂
I do have to wonder if the story was changed a bit from the novel tho. I read somewhere that Kawi and Pisaeng…
The show has more depth than the novel. The characters and their actions make sense in the show while logic and actual human experience is thrown out the window in the novel. But the novel is a good, short read if you just want a conflict free novel.

I actually like the build up of their love story. I wanna see the drama when Kawi finally realizes that he wants Pisaeng not only in his past/present but also his future. Kawi at this stage may like the past/present Pisaeng but he definitely doesn’t see him in his future yet. I want the angst!

There was a senior in there though. Hierarchy and respect may have played a role in her actions. Plus it was supposedly a tradition. She may have simply folded under peer pressure and groupthink.
Reading the comments here and on twitter, i think some equate Kawi’s character growth only with him falling in love with Pisaeng which is a disservice to the character. Kawi is growing as a person. Episode 4 showed us that he had made great changes with his relationship with his father, Max and even with Pear. He is heeding the old man’s advice of living in the present. He is making changes to himself.
Kawi is allowed to not to fall in love with Pisaeng yet. I bet as Kawi continues to grow in the other areas of his life, the more his feelings and appreciation for Pisaeng will grow.
Let’s give Kawi some credit. Kawi has saved both Pisaeng and Pear from a loveless marriage when Kawi has urged Pisaeng to be honest with Pear. It is quite obvious that Pisaeng never had any feelings for Pear long before Kawi returned to the past. Episode 4 did show Pisaeng’s hypocrisy when he told Kawi in ep 3 to be honest with him when he himself was unable to be honest with Pear who had feelings for Pisaeng way longer than Pisaeng had feelings for Kawi.

Kawi did say that he was gonna pay Pisaeng if he wins the lotto and in Ep 3 showed us that he went back in time to know the winning numbers and then showed us that he paid Pisaeng with the lotto win.
Notice that when he won the lotto, Kawi still looked so happy and carefree unlike how he looked after the kiss. So my guess is when he borrowed money from Pisaeng, he already planned to win the lotto. The show does arrange scenes not in the right order.

Same. I really enjoyed msp but I was content to wait. But with BMF, i just don’t have the patience. I’ve now dip my toes on GawinKrist in order to sustain me til Friday. I don’t normally care what the actors do outside of the show but the wait is killing me. Unfortunately, looks like GawinKrist are barely promoting the show so that front is a no go. I need Friday to come faster.

In Pisaeng’s POV, maybe he finds Kawi’s ridiculousness refreshing. Episode 3 did show us that Pisaeng didn’t like his friends likening them to pieces of clothes which he wants to give away. Then there is Not who is an asshat.
While Kawi maybe awkward and immature, there is a certain genuineness to his awkwardness and immaturity. In front of Pisaeng, he doesn’t pretend and conversely Pisaeng is very at ease with Kawi. So at ease that he teases Kawi constantly.
Even in comparison with the very put together Pear. I have no doubt that Pisaeng is aware of Pear’s feelings for him that’s why he’s a bit guarded against her. To Pear who he knew since he was a child, Pisaeng denied that he was depressed while he readily admitted to Kawi that he was lonely. The show has striven to show how different Pisaeng is to his friends with how he is with Kawi.
Sometimes people are just attracted to the person who makes them feel good about being their own self.
