WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! Is this story comes first then Love Syndrome 3?
Yes -- this is technically the beginning of it all. Itt & Gear made a bet regarding Night. And Gear raped Night. Then after Day found out he kidnapped Itt and brutalized him and recorded it and used it as blackmail.
That is how everything began... and because Neil is friends with Day and Nick was friends with Itt they both were visiting their respective friends when they met each other.
Mac used to love Itt but Itt never returned the feelings and Day basically gave Mac to Nan.
As for whether this will be made or not, who knows?? But this listing was on MDL even before Love Syndrome 3 was a thing.
Oh, and as for the order of stories, technically they should be: Love Syndrome books 1 & 2 Unforgotten Night Love Syndrome Books 3 & 4
Nan & Mac's story is partially before book 3 and partially in tandem with book 3, but it was written/published after book 3 Love Syndrome books
i dropped this one at episode 1 and i just came back to read the comments... i have no idea on whether to pick…
If you do decide to pick it up again, I highly recommend you go with the uncut version. As of writing this they've released up to Ep.8 (of 12) of the uncut episodes and there haven't been any additional NC or fight scenes -- they've all been extended scenes or added scenes that give more background and more story.
So the only difference between the 2 versions is that the uncut has backstory info ? Or the uncut version also…
In this case, the uncut version means longer scenes / added scenes. So far, through Ep.8 it does not mean additional NC or fight scenes.
For this particular story, I really think the uncut version is the only version that should've aired. The TV-edit (ie: neatly fits into a TV slot on whatever given day) just did not tell the full story or have the impact that the novels have, but the uncut version is doing a much better job of showcasing the relationship, how things became what they are and it helps explain their personalities a bit more. Which is a good thing, because these relationships are very complex.
This show was so goofy and I enjoyed every crazy minute of it. Lee Long Shi pretty much carried it and he was…
Only because I don't know what you know, so I apologize if I'm telling you suffering you're already aware of .....
But a large part of why Lee Long Shi's fight scenes come together so well is because he's muay thai fighter with so many wins that he also became a trainer. So, fighting is nothing new to him.
Also, there so much more information about everyone in the novels, and Nan & Mac even have their own side book.
I think my biggest issue was that no matter how hard I tried I couldn't form an attachment to the pianist. So, I spent the whole show wishing our ML would end up with his best friend who had been by his side through everything.
This show ended about two months ago, and still we can't find episodes 4, 5 & 6 with English subs. It's really ridiculous. I'm so frustrated with this whole situation.
But the show isn't related to GMM in any way except that the GMM channel 25 originally aired the show. The company involved with making it is entirely World Star.
BL Official, Bilibili, YouTube .... But don't expect much. I've used all 3 and can barely make heads or tails of some of the subs. Some of the subs make sense, but most of them you need to see what's going on around the characters and figure out context and piece together what they probably meant to say.
It's really not War of Y at all. War of Y was an attempt to show what kind of things have occurred behind the scenes in the BL industry and to expose the corruption and sometimes even illegal activity.
This is a Thai lakorn (soap opera) which just means a very dramatic and over the top story with multiple twists, turns and plots. This isn't a BL, but it does appear to at least have a couple gay characters, but the fact that they're gay probably won't be a main plot point unless the writers choose to use that to cause conflict. The person above who uses the phrase: "the ostentatious lifestyle of the rich and back-stabby." is probably the best description there is.
As a 43 year old woman I am bitterly disappointed in myself for being drawn in by these teenagers! Acne!? Really??…
This made me smile. I have 4 "kids" who are now 31, 30, 27 & 20 ... and between their teen years and my own I had already forgotten how big of a deal a skin blemish coukd be.
Oh, if only things were all that simple. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got into BL in 2019. Prior to that I was reading gay romance, but I hadn't tried watching any on TV. (at least, not any produced in Asia) So, my first Thai BL was Why R U then I just started binging everything I could find. I had probably seen 75% of the BL library before I decided to try 2Moons and 2Moons2, and I never felt particularly attached to either iteration.
That being said, from my own perspective, I think this version of 2Moons is the best of the three. I enjoyed the actors, the storyline was cute and everyone had great chemistry. It took a bit to really connect with it, but once you do you're hooked.
As for the subtitles -- while this was airing it wasn't released on any legitimate platforms with English subtitles, so wec relied mostly on fan subs. They really worked hard and tried to put out good content, but the truth is that the current official subtitles on WeTV / Tencent Video are superior to any of the fan subs I saw back then. So, I definitely recommend using the official platform.
But even in the book Itt commented on how he became super emotional and cried way more than he ever did before…
I think what is happening here is that you're projecting your own feelings and experiences onto Itt and you're expecting him to respond how you would respond.
Itt wasn't embarrassed in front of Belle, that didn't bother him.
Also, the part you hate so much and call rape -- that's not what's happening anymore. It's forceful and it's dominating but the reason Itt responds the way he does, and instantly at that, is because of the relationship they have and their dynamic. Day uses rough sex as a form of "punishment" but Itt accepts that and is okay with it. He's even said as much with Nick.
Here's the thing -- within Day & Itt's dynamic and the relationship they have, by staying in the relationship (don't be ridiculous if Itt REALLY felt threatened or like he didn't want to be there he could leave, now or any time prior. He even had friends offer to help him leave if that's what he wanted) but by staying he has agreed to the terms of the relationship with full knowledge of what will cause him to be punished and what that punishment will be. Itt has already agreed to allow Day to punish him when he deserves to be punished, and Itt knows in advance what that means.
If he's as strong as you claimed him to be, then it should be even that much easier for him leave if he doesn't like how he's being treated. This is his **choice** and he wants to live this way!!
I'm using Express VPN and I really like it so far. It was extremely easy to set up and use. I had procrastinated getting one because I was worried it would be confusing, I wish I hadn't waited so long.
But even in the book Itt commented on how he became super emotional and cried way more than he ever did before…
That is still entirely dependent on the type of relationship that two people have. Itt knows exactly what kind of relationship he's in. He's fully aware of all of dynamics and power exchanges. They both have their own role to play in this symbiotic relationship. Itt *could* live without Day, and Day knows that. Day is very much aware of the fact that Itt would survive if Day died. The process would be painful and the most difficult thing he would ever have to endure, but Day knows that Itt would survive and move on.
Would Day survive of Itt died?? Physically, maybe. He feel obligated to still exist for Night's sake, but he wouldn't open his heart again, he would never love again and he would only be a hollow shell. Day's emotional survival is far more dependant on Itt than Itt is on Day.
And is their relationship brutal -- yep, you betcha!! It's brutal, violent, controlling, manipulative and fully consensual.
Did you not notice that even in the scenes that were most difficult for Itt, and even when things hurt, that he still reacts? His body still responds. He can't help but enjoy himself, even when the punishment is at its harshest. His body hurts, tears stream from his eyes because of the pain -- and yet, he still has multiple orgasms and cries out Day's name in ecstasy.
There's absolutely no way you can convince me that Itt is not a fully consenting partner who agrees to everything that he goes through.
Also, because you brought it up earlier, the shirt that Day gave Itt to wear was mid-thigh in length, so it's not like Belle could see any of Itt's dangly bits anyway. Furthermore, even if they could, Belle still has the same anatomical parts as Itt, so while it might be embarrassing to a degree, it wouldn't be the same as if Belle were anatomically female and identifying as female. Not even Day always called Belle by their feminine name, so they obviously are closer to being gender fluid, gender neutral or an effeminate or cross dressing gay who prefers masc men. But, ultimately, not someone for Itt to be super shy in front of.
But even in the book Itt commented on how he became super emotional and cried way more than he ever did before…
I've read everything you said and disagree with quite a bit of it. However, I don't particularly want to argue about what ultimately comes down to opinions. I view the entire situation differently than you.
I will say that Itt doesn't need to stay with Day. If he didn't want exactly what Day was giving, there are ways out. Day knows it, Itt knows it and everyone around them knows it. The fact that Itt *chooses* to stay with Day and that he accepts the kind of relationship that they have equals consent on Itt's part. Itt KNOWS 100% that if he goes against Day, he will be punished - and harshly at that. No if's, and's or but's about it.
Itt is fully aware of the kind of relationship he is in and the kind of person he is with. There are no surprises.
And yeah, he acts like a whiny, bratty, selfish child. He's exactly what Day created him to be -- completely reliant on Day for everything.
But, bottom line is they love each other very deeply, and probably in ways that most average relationships will never understand.
As for the car racing for the motorcycle -- perhaps you missed why Day was so angry and furious? Partly it was because he told Itt to WAIT and earn the money working... (he didn't say by any means necessary, he specifically said to earn it by working) but mostly it was because he didn't want Itt risking his safety or his life. Day can buy anything, replace anything -- he can not replace Itt if he's dead.
That is how everything began... and because Neil is friends with Day and Nick was friends with Itt they both were visiting their respective friends when they met each other.
