I actually think this show has alot of potential, like im genuinely interested, but the gd subtitles ruin everything,…
I was busy with other shows and just started this today (04 March) and so far the iQiYi English subs have been perfectly fine. I'm about to start Ep.2 and I haven't seen any real issues. So, maybe they were fixed / improved??
Why is there no rating for this one? Been curious about the overall ratings on this so far since I haven't started…
I'm going to toss in my two cents here -- I don't think the show is that bad. However, it is a mystety and it's one that is confusing many viewers.
I'm just about to start Ep.2 and so far I think everything makes perfect sense -- for the information that I have. I don't have all the answers, because it's still a mystery and there is still story to be told and things to unfold. But, with the characters and information that I *do* have it makes sense so far... if you get what I mean.
Also, I'm watching on iQiYi and the English subs are just fine so far.
I wonder if this will be put on another streaming service alongside Viu as that's only available in a select Asian…
This was the exact question I was coming here to see if it had been addressed. I would download, and even pay a subscription, to VIU if they would open themselves up to North America and sub in English.
Just my personal two cents: I think Sweet Home absolutely needs another season to finish the story, it was left only half told. Missing: The Other Side doesn't *need* a second season, but the open ending they left is had me craving for more, so I'm thankful there is a second season. Hellbound & All of Us Are Dead didn't leave quite as many questions as Sweet Home, but I'm very glad that we will get further information and continue these stories. I think they deserve a second season even if they don't absolutely *need* one. Squid Game ended perfectly and they should've just left it there. Attorney Woo had a pleasant ending, and it really doesn't need a second season, but I'll happily take more to the story, I really enjoyed it. I haven't started Alchemy of Souls yet, so I can't comment. All the rest I think should've just been left alone at a single season.
Because I enjoyed Tutor & Yim and Max & Nat I gave this a 6.5 but it was an entirely unnecessary short series. Parts were cute, but really it was just 4 episodes of fan service for Domundi.
I can't really say that. I'm using iQiYi, GagaOOLala, WeTV (aka: Tencent Video here), Asiancrush, Crunchyroll, Netflix, YouTube Premium, Rakuten Viki, Vimeo .... and either have subscriptions or have paid per video for each one. The only service I have occasionally (rarely) turned to that isn't a legit site is Bilibili, and I haven't really felt like I've been lacking for content or too far behind what's available. Just my own experiences, but so far it's working about 98-99% of the time.
dying but the last scene...after the credits rolled
Well, that's kind of the ultimate question -- because everyone knew the world was ending before Golf hit Art with the guitar, Golf's ex even took his phone to use his bunker code to get access since he broke her phone. Which means, if Art woke up from the coma bandaged, then the world was already ending anyway... supposedly.
Now, even if it were just a prophetic dream then it means he still got hit with the guitar and Golf is still taking care of him. So, ultimately, they could theoretically avoid all of the death by him just not going out that night then Golf won't kill Mike and they won't ever get on the bad side of the psycho squad.
That's not to say that they wouldn't still die in the end -- because there are a million other things that could go wrong, but the "true story" could potentially be quite different. Who's to say??
Does anyone know, please, is Seng is no longer going to work for IdolFactory if it means he is no longer going…
I know he did not renew his contract, but that doesn't necessarily preclude him from working with Billy. Look at Boun & Prem, they're from two different companies... so really, only time will tell. I'm praying they will stay together, I think their chemistry is amazing.
I came to the conclusion that people calling Toh a stalker either don't understand what they're watching or don't…
Perfect response!! It's quite clear that people in this comment section are coddled and haven't seen "the real world" yet, because if they had then they would have a much better grasp on what stalking truly is, and how terrifying it is.
Being a collector from a distance who respects the targets privacy and space is a bit cringey at times, but it's nowhere near being a stalker!!
And in this case it's just being used to illustrate how out of touch Toh is because he doesn't feel like he's good enough to be a part of the same world as Nuea, so those are his keepsakes to remind him of the temporary brushes he had with what he views as "the superior, but out of reach" world. It's a way for him to look back and reminisce about the good times once they've past and "superior people" move on without him.
Then they should have chosen another book to adapt. There's surely better BL novels out there.
Oh, I agree completely!! The characters had depth of character and you really felt like you knew them in the novel -- but that's because that's all you really got: character development via inner monologs, explicit scenes and a small story just to get you through the novel.
There are absolutely better novels with actual storylines that could've been chosen.
By far, for me the last episode was the best in the series. I felt that the actors did better as the episodes…
I agree with you 100%. I read the novel, and the source material really doesn't have much story to go off of. They met up, they had sex, they fought, rinse and repeat until they declare themselves a couple, Yai drank a science experiment & thought he was pregnant, they fought, they had sex, they made up, they became an official couple, the end. 😄😄
For everyone saying that this story was a let down, I really think you need to go read the English translation of the novel on Wattpad. (the translator got permission from the author to do it, and posts that conversation as well)
Because, this novel did not have much plot to work with, I'm amazed they turned it into what they did and that Mos & Bank did so well with it considering the source material!! I just want to know who on earth thought that this novel had enough of a story to make it into a TV show in the first place. Because that's hilarious!!
They even had to leave out 25% of the novel because Yai drank a science experiment and thought he was pregnant -- yeah, so that happened. LOL
Even the author, when they gave permission for their novel to be translated said that the book was at least 75% PWP (porn with plot) ... so take that for what you will.
So yeah, ultimately, given what they had to work with from the source material I think this show turned out great!! I'm looking forward to season 2, since the original novel ended after they committed to each other, and neither of them went to the US. So, this will be all new.

They will either find Bible a new partner or replace both Bible and Build with a new couple and then find Bible some new work.
