I've seen a lot of hate in the comments for this, and I just don't understand why. It was simple and cute, reminded me of some of the older BL's. I'm not expecting it to be deep or have an intricate storyline, just a cute, sweet falling in love story that's a fast and easy watch. The kind of show that doesn't require a lot of mental investment, but you just enjoy it for what it is.
The rating shows 18+, so I'd say their target audience isn't the "average teen" rather adults. As far as it being…
I'm also in the US but I still pay for GagaOOLala, Viki, iQiYi, Asiancrush, Crunchyroll, Netflix, Tencent Video (ie: WeTV) and YouTube premuim so that I can watch all my shows with no commercials on the legit channels.
I agree with @brimeeb that if you're not paying for the legit channels to watch these shows then people have absolutely no room to complain about commercials or not being able to watch the uncensored version of shows.
Second, I think you're absolutely correct. Matter of fact, I think Tle is outright cheating with that guy and Prince is right around the corner from cheating with Gear and those are the guys they'll happily end up with.
Ummm.... we are all here watching bls. So, insulting anal sex is kinda rude. Sorry to break it to you, but even…
Seriously!! I was going to make pretty much the same comment. These are shows about gay men, they're not going to give hand jobs or have oral sex their entire lives -- anal sex is going to eventually become a form of intimacy. There should be no disrespect or shame in that.
He's never claimed to be any particular orientation publicly. There are many assumptions, but until he confirms…
I didn't mean to sound like I was targeting you, my apologies. He's never said one way or the other. I think we're somewhat safe assuming he might be gay, but as I said, he's never clarified. However, he's very close with PP and they go shopping and hang out together as friends. Gun has played roles where sexuality isn't an issue (both seasons of The Gifted, I'm Tee Me Too, etc) but it seems that when he plays roles where sexuality becomes part of the plot he tends to choose lgbtq+ roles, at least since he's been over 18. (The Blue Hour, Bittersweet Chocolate, Playboy & the Gang of Cherry, Puppy Honey, SOTUS S special episode, Theory of Love, Not Me, etc)
He's never claimed to be any particular orientation publicly. There are many assumptions, but until he confirms it one way or the other is unfair to speculate.
I haven't seen this drama yet but generally the rare-kisses thing might be due to censorship and how much "explicit"…
Actually, the "sniff kiss" is part of Thai culture and did not come about because of BL's or censorship. That's just part of who they are as a people and something that happens regularly between parents & children, siblings, grandparents & family, between lovers, etc.
Then try Killer and Healer. Chinese and censored yes, but somehow it flew under the radar and you get two guys…
Actually, my favorite C-Drama is S.C.I. Again, it's censored, but you can still really feel what's behind it all. Plus, the story itself is excellent and the acting was very well done. By most standards it *looks* (ie: what you see worth your writes on the surface) like a "bromance" but if you look a little deeper, notice the shared looks, accidental touches, glances and subtle dialog then you'll KNOW what's really going on. It was wonderfully done.
this BL was meh......but u will definitely find worse than this xd
omg - What the Duck was a train wreck!! I watched both seasons because I started and got determined to finish what I started .... I regret that choice.
is this worth the watch? liked them both on nitiman so that’s the only reason i’m interested.
I feel like it's worth it. The show was cute, fluffy, sweet, funny and decent. It took a while for them to have a physical relationship, but I'm okay with that. Once they did get there it was done well.
I highly appreciated the fact that there was minimal interpersonal conflict. The issues were due to outside stressors. I was also very thankful that there was no jealous, bitchy, vindictive female character. I hate that trope so much!!
Currently you can watch the entire thing on AisPlay YouTube channel with English subtitles-- Episode 10 part 3 had the wrong subs, so I ended up on a "questionable" website just for that part, but the rest was good!
I was relatively new to BL dramas when I watched Lovely Writer, so I didn't know people shipped the actors in…
I also recommend watching Call It What You Want -- it *really* shows some of craziness behind the scenes of the BL industry and how bad things can get. (it's free to watch on GagaOOLala, just create an account if you don't already have one -- however, if you love lgbtq+ media and can manage $6.99/mo USD that's one of the best subscriptions there is)
