All truth!! I spent 3 years living in Europe when my kids were very young and I truly miss it. Now that my kids have kids I will stay here unless they're able to move with me. I hope you are right, though. I really hope things change for the better sooner rather than later. ❤️
Sadly, I can't say that I disagree with you. Quite often I'm embarrassed by where I live. Even more so since I've been married to an Asian man for over 20 years and we have 4 kids. I've been exposed to more Asian culture than typical American culture. (even from my parents - my dad was a pilot and my mom was a flight attendant and they only flew to Eastern Asia) 😄
Ok so people are saying the mls are together, if they actually are, congrats and best wishes to them, but I really…
Yoon said it himself during an interview recently. He clarified it and repeated it for the interviewer a few times because they initially thought he wasn't serious. Unless Yoon or Ton says otherwise later, I think it's safe to believe him.
I guess it depends on how you look at it. It's sad in the moment because they have to temporarily separate, but they make it very clear that they both intend on staying together and will be together again in the future.
I just got to the big twist at the end of ep 15 😭 im so sad they made Kwon Soo Hyun a bad guy i just finished…
As soon as I saw him playing another prosecutor my very first thought was, "I bet he's the bad guy again." I was so upset to be right!! Talk about typecast!!
I was a bit shocked to see the ML here, because I know him from the Korean BL You Make Me Dance, which he did a really good job in btw. It was cute to see another side of his acting.
There's absolutely nothing rude about saying that you should never assume someone's sexuality or gender. That is just common sense.
If Gun did choose to share his sexuality publicly then that would be the end of it. Because his word on his own sexuality is what is fact, it's no longer an assumption or speculation at that point.
However, since he hasn't done that, all we have are assumptions and speculations. We have absolutely, ZERO solid facts because he has not personally said anything. Why is that concept so difficult for you to grasp?
Do you enjoy it when complete strangers assume your sexuality just based on what they see or what they may have heard about you?? Why impose that on someone else?
There's no use trying to politely educate in this situation. They are dead set and determined that their opinion is the only right answer. I tried, but was also greeted with rudeness, so don't bother.
You're right, that was a really bad typo! I'll definitely be fixing that.
And "bro" .... (seriously?) I can't say one way or another which sexual orientation declares most often that it's rude and inappropriate to assume someone's sexual preferences, sexuality, gender identity, etc. However, in this instance, I'm not straight, so take that for whatever it's worth. Though, I find it interesting that you seem to be implying that I must be only based on a few comments.
Whether or not he chooses to "come out in a western type of way" or any other way it's still his choice -- and it's still going to be equally as rude and inappropriate for *anyone* to assume they know his preferences unless he tells them directly. It just isn't our place. I think it's equally as offensive that straight people assume everyone is straight until told differently as it is for people to try and claim that someone is certainly gay when that person has never confirmed or denied it. I just think that assuming that the collective "we" knows anyone's sexuality that hasn't specifically stated what they are is rude and inappropriate, regardless of what "signs" people think they give off. Because those "signs" and impressions are tainted by culture, personal experience, environment, personal morality and many other factors.
And you can not say that with 100% certainty because Gun has never confirmed it. That's just rude to assume you know his sexuality based on what you've seen on screen, during fan service and just by what's been caught on film in public.
Mind you, in my personal opinion I suspect you are right, but I'm not going to claim I know anything with certainty until Gun himself "comes out". Gay, straight, pan, bi or whatever a person may be it is not right for anyone except Gun to claim they know the truth about him. Until he tells his fans personally, it's just rumors and speculation.
He's never claimed to be any particular orientation publicly. There are many assumptions, but until he confirms…
You're correct about Blacklist, I took that out. However, he and Off were in the special episode of SOTUS S during a bar scene, it was quite nice to see actually.
Also, you are extremely nitpicky, I'll edit my post just for you to say his lgbtq+ roles instead of gay roles, then White is covered. Black being straight is irrelevant to the conversation side that character doesn't fall under the umbrella -- but we also didn't see him explore Blacks sexuality on screen, it was just something we learned. The role that he played the most as, and the one where their sexuality was shown on screen, is for White, so I do count this as a lgbtq+ role.

But there is also this one https://youtube.com/shorts/SvrXYvfkH8U?feature=share
