Ooohh, now that you've mentioned it, yes, I suspect it's highly probable that the mummy may be Chan!! That makes everything even more fascinating.

Even still -- that would make things even more complex than "just get the mummy back" so that would be a while other layer to deal with in addition to rescuing Dome and handing the High Priestess and all the kids she had kidnapped/mind controlled.

I still can't imagine successfully wrapping it all up in and satisfying. But, we shall see!!

I don't know, I'll be honest, I don't even remember just how many were taken to begin with.

Even if the mummy was the only artifact left to recover, they would still need to rescue Dome, deal with the High Priestess and get back the mummy in two episodes. It just feels rushed and unlikely. Just my opinion.

So, what they're claiming here is that they can resolve Dome's issue, handle the High Priestess AND retrieve all of the lost artifacts in two episodes??? Ummm... I think not.

They will need to either extend the number of episodes or continue with a season 2 later if we want to see any kind of real resolution. Especially since I was under the impression that retrieving the lost artifacts was priority #1 until Dome had his little "problem." Even if you retrieve all the artifacts they'll still need to do *something* about that High Priestess seeing as how she has all those children under her control. There's just way too much going on to wrap it up in 2 episodes.

Forc starters, everything between Ken & Din was in the past. Din is currently presumed dead. Ken & Din were in a relationship for 7 years prior to Din being shot and them going over the cliff.

We saw that Din survived the shot and the fall, but the insinuation is that he died shortly thereafter and the current washed him downriver and that's why authorities only ever found Ken.

Everything between Lue and Ken is in the present time. Ken is trying to uncover what really happened to Din and Lue is protecting Ken. There is mild supposition that Lue may be Ken, but we really don't know. However, the end of Ep.5 the guy in black with the masked face was wearing the necklace that the monk had given Din on the day he "died."

I mean, I know it's not like he's announced his sexuality, but other than trying to be a decent guy/friend to her he's also never shown any interest in her whatsoever. I ammend that slightly: both adults OR at least 17-19 but without serious intimate scenes. I don't mind younger actors or age gaps, but let's not force them to grow up and take on too much too soon. I vote that they wait until at *least* 20-21 before doing heavy intimate scenes, even without an age gap. lol

Don't forget Max & Nat as well.

Most specifically, the younger of the two never saw the elder as his brother, and seeing as how they had close to a 10 year age gap and only lived in the same house for maybe 3-4 years maximum I can see why. There was a part in the show where he even explained that he never viewed the elder as a brother in that way. And he also explained that he knew he was gay very early and was aware that he found the other guy attractive by the time he was in middle school. Truth be told, if their parets never married no one would bat an eye -- but because the mother and father fell in love and married suddenly it's taboo and completely unacceptable for two completely unrelated people to develop feelings?? I just can't muster the energy to let that bother me, especially since if their parents weren't together then suddenly the exact same two guys loving each other is suddenly okay.

As for the sex scene -- (btw, I apologize, I don't recall their names, I'm sorry, so they are just elder and younger right now) -- the elder of the two wasn't drugged at all. He was moderately drunk, but before the younger started anything he even asked the elder if he knew who he was, and he could answer correctly. Which puts it in somewhat of a gray area. He knew where he was and who he was with and was still fully capable of participating in the activity -- but he was still partially incapacitated. So, just me personally, I can't go as far as to say it's 100% rape -- but I won't claim it's truly consensual either. All in all it left a bad taste in my mouth. As for filming it and showing that to their parents, that's just uncalled for. No matter what kind of relationship or who the partner is parents never want actually witness their child in a sexual situation. So, that's bad judgement and just wrong. If he made the video and it were only for himself then I would say it's in poor taste, but whatever. But to show it to the parents is completely uncalled for.

So there's a few of my opinions on the whole subject.

Honestly, if anyone who grew up in an Asian household said that to me I may not give it a second thought, depending on how they say it. Considering how many cultures refer to their juniors as their younger brothers or sisters. In some cultures and languages it would be proper to refer to him as his younger brother (in more ways than one - but most likely those hearing in their country assume they mean junior) so adding on boyfriend would be necessary. Granted, they could exclude the brothers part, but if they're referring to having gone to the same school/university, having been in the same fraternity, possibly working in the same company ... then maybe there's a reason to point out both relations?? It's really just western thought that doesn't refer to everyone as brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, etc even if you're not blood related. (which, those two aren't blood related either and the elder moved out after living with the younger four a few years, maybe 3-4 at most. The elder was already in high school when they met and he moved out when he went to university)

Anyway -- I'm just pointing out -- of I were speaking Korean or Thai in that situation and heard that comment, I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I really like WeTV and even sub to it as Tencent Video -- I just wish more of their shows had English subs. I still want to watch Love at 7-11, Re-start(ed) (with good subs) and a few others....

Sadly, Viu isn't avaliable for North America, does anyone know of other official channels to watch this with English subtitles? I don't mind if I need to sub to something.

I have two theories on that.

First, I think they were the two guys on the cliff with Nok when he shot Din and Din and Ken went over the cliff. I think the boss that Nok reports to was cleaning house now that Ken has returned.

Second,I think it's also at least possible that we just haven't been told the motivation of Nok's boss yet, so we may not know exactly why he felt the need to get rid of them. Though, history of storytelling shows us that usually it's to keep someone quiet or to cover something up. In this case, it's probably both.

I finished Ep.3 just a bit ago, and I really don't understand why people are so confused or why they think it's slow. I'm enjoying it so far.

I guess maybe if people aren't able to differentiate between the flashbacks, memories and what is present day then maybe they'd get confused?? But I'm finding things to be petty straightforward.

Mysterious, yes. A puzzle, yes. Unanswered questions, absolutely!!

Oh, the one thing that did throw me off initially -- the character names here on MDL don't all match what the characters are called in the show, plus not all of them are listed. So trying to figure out who's who just by reading the vast list is tough. I had to visit other sites to piece together some of the actors and their roles. However, unless you're actually comparing them like I was, you don't NEED the cast list for them to make sense if you're just watching it. I really think you should give it a try.

The only thing I find confusing is why so many viewers are lost or confused .... There are MANY questions that need answering, but all the information we've been given fits together and makes sense.

It's a mystery puzzle and we don't have all the pieces so we can't see the full picture yet, we don't yet understand how the pieces we've been given fit together -- but that doesn't mean we can't make out smaller pictures on the pieces and understand those smaller areas.
