VIU as it airs, Paramount+ after it finishes.
It's in a few Middle East and African countries too. If the app isn't in one of the countries below than it's probably a fake. The official VIU app has over 10 million downloads.

VIU full country list: Bahrain, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, UAE

VIU as it airs, Paramount+ after it finishes.
VIU is a streaming service that is only in 16 Asian countries. However, alot of their content is FREE with Ads so if you switch your VPN to say Singapore or the Philippines, you can watch the show as it airs.

so they’re not gonna tell us why that taxi driver wanted to kill them for 15 years and in every timeline possibleexcept…
The writer had Sol intentionally show a VHS tape of The Terminator to Sunjae to explain her time travel situation. The taxi driver IS the Terminator of this story. A relentless baddy 'destined' to kill them. But Terminator also has a famous motto from the protagonists: "No fate but what we make." And Sol & Sunjae changed their own fate.

After Geum and Hyunjoo won the lottery, she told him he should go to that acting audition. Now that they are financially settled, it's right time to be able to take a risk. Unlike earlier in the series, when both of them insisted that it was worth it to give up their desired careers to be married with kids, they now get to have their family and their desired careers too. Hyunjoo is already working in film with Sol and Geum will now get to be an actor. They have it all. It just took Sol a few tries to get it right. They didn't need to permanently sacrifice their dreams but they did have to wait for the right timing for it to all work out.

This is reflected in Sol and Sunjae's relationship. Sol removed herself from Sunjae's life for 15 years to prevent his death and made positive changes to her family and friends lives by sacrificing of her own happiness. However, there is no stipulation that her sacrifice should be permanent. Destiny just needed to happen at the right time for everything to work out. In fact, by making these changes she hopefully created the perfect circumstances to prevent Sunjae's death and any harm to herself. Especially by encouraging Taesung to become an upstanding police officer who is determined to catch the serial killer. There have been so many hints that Sol and Sunjae will get married that they better follow through. They deserve their happy ending.

I would also love for Taesung to fall for the female lead in Sol's movie about her and Sunjae. He deserves his happy ending as well.

did we get the why????
The "why" of the entire mystery was not about the murderer's motivations but how an entire community, including her family, failed a little girl by their individual actions. I didn't like it but I understand what the writers wanted to show about a community's responsibility.

I’m loving this show. It’s really a slow burn friends to lovers. They’ve known each other for so long and always had a special connection but because of the age gap and power dynamics their relationship stayed platonic. Since he decided to join the academy with her, you can see them sacrificing for and worrying about each other. They’ve been carefully poking and prodding each other with work and personal boundaries. I love when he asked her if she could ‘read between the lines’ because that’s their job as language teachers and it’s what we as an audience have been doing as well. Both for her benefit and ours, it’s his version of ‘can I be anymore obvious?’ LOL

It’s so cute how lowkey and awkward they are about their burgeoning feelings. He’s barely holding on by a thread but Hyejin admitting she liked the way Junho upended her ridged, overly planned, workaholic life to make her want more. *clutches heart* He’s probably dated but she’s been dedicated to her job to the point of no social life. She a bit unsure of how to proceed but I like that she’s up for the adventure of falling in love.

As for her director, it was interesting to find out that he made everyone think he treated her well. When in reality, he had always taken her to the cheapest restaurants, gave her loans to emotionally blackmail her, and put in non-competes to her contract (which are starting to become illegal alot of places in my country). The fact that he didn’t even wait 12 hours to officially try to soft get rid of her was disgusting. He could have tried to build up the Korean department by getting new teachers to do other schools or by building up other teams like English or Math to grow his business so it wouldn’t be as reliant on Hyejin. That’s his fault. As Hyejin said, she was willing to take less if it meant building something special together but once he broke her trust all bets are off. She owes him nothing.

The Grey Witch offered her another terrible deal as well. Even though she’s nearing retirement, I understand why she wouldn’t want another teacher stealing her students simply to keep her pride intact. While she was underhanded in making sure her students wouldn’t be able to attend the lecture, except for the spy she blackmailed into attending, she was trying to protect her domain. But the offer she made to Hyejin was pathetic at best. As Hyejin told Junho, it was the bare minimum of what she is worth. That whole ratio salary thing was such a cheap trick. Very shortsighted. It did not offer any real job security or power. She was still going to rule her castle. If the Grey Witch truly wanted to retire gracefully and pick a successor, she should have offered to sell her academy to Hyejin for a tidy sum.

While I understand that the economics of successful talent can be taxing for business owners, it’s literally the owners’ job to assess those risks and build their business around them accordingly. In general, even the best talent gets kicked to the curb at a moments notice so I don’t begrudge the talent for asking for the best terms for themselves. Also, more often than not, business owners (and corporate CEOs) take huge advantage of the majority of their average employees so I have zero sympathy for them. They are more than getting their money's worth.

However, I do like watching the politics of these business owners versus talent play out.

I think the syntax of your suggested title is incorrect.
My syntax is fine. It's the awkward use of "freaking" that makes it sound off. "A Fairytale Dream" and "Dreaming of a Fairytale" are both common phrases.

At least, they updated the official title to be grammatically correct now.

where to watch in the US?
It will eventually be on Paramount+, probably several months after it finishes airing in Korea just like CJ ENM's other show, Pyramid Game.

However, if it goes to VIU, like Pyramid Game did, you can set your VPN to Singapore or the Philippines to watch it while it airs in Korea.

When you tell people you're watching this show, what face will they make because of this title?
A weird title can generate interest but it can just as easily generate backlash or aversion. Though I was talking about the average person, not friends who are willing to hear you out.

x-posting from my tumblr:

Sunjae was long dead when Sol pressed that button on the watch. I don't think it being on his wrist meant that he became a time traveler.

However, it may have tethered his spirit to the mortal realm so that he could see time and space from the outside like Sol's grandmother seems to be able to do because of her dementia. His spirit appears to be hanging onto to himself, influencing his choices. I saw someone note that despite never meeting Sol, he has chosen to go into the film industry which was her dream and where she currently works. When Sol first went back in time, she thought they were both dead and their spirits were trying to cross to the other side (also a Hotel Del Luna reference). There have been many references to a virgin ghost haunting Sunjae and they went to an amusement park with a haunted house that only scared Sunjae. The spirit realm is well-established here.

When Sunjae catches Sol on the staircase at the awards show, there is that magic swiping sound right before the music kicks in. I think them finally meeting again is the catalyst for his experienced spirit to collide with his present day self and slowly reveal his past memories to him. Hopefully, from ALL the timelines. Since Sol stopped their first meeting, I don't think his experienced spirit could connect with him before.

People are acting as if they changed the plot instead of the title. How is it even important?

where will I be able to watch in the US
It will eventually be on Paramount+ in the US. However, the same company (CJ ENM) also made the deal for their other show Pyramid Game which will be coming to Paramount+ on May 30, two months after it finished airing in Korea. I expect the same thing to happen with this show.

However, VIU (which is Free with Ads in some Asian countries) also got Pyramid Game and they released episodes as they were airing in Korea. So if you switch your VPN to say Singapore or the Philippines, you will probably be able to watch this show for Free on VIU.
