The Olympics has alot of choice to offer in terms of sports as well as supporting your country. I'm planning on watching gymnastics, and maybe diving, swimming, and track and field which will cut into my kdrama time. Also, since the show is just starting people might wait a week to hear what everyone is saying about the drama. I do plan on watching this since I'm a big Chae Jong Hyeop fan but I might wait until the Olympics are over. Just depends on if I have the time.
Yes. Alot of Korean shows get postponed at the last minute due to major sporting events. They've done this for their local baseball year-end series, the Asian Games, FIFA World Cup and the previous Winter Olympics in the several years I've been watching kdramas. However, it's also possible they are intentionally airing it against the Olympics as counterprogramming. But that doesn't mean the viewing numbers won't be affected, it just means they'd rather air this than something else.
