I was definitely only looking at the scar and nothing else. No, I absolutely didn't stare at the abs, muscly arms, tanned skinned, and perfect "v" curvature. Yup. No, sir.

Okay, I lost my marbles after "that scene" since this is a Kdrama, but I remembered this is Netflix and cable network, Jtbc. It all makes sense now. But that came out of nowhere, and I was pleasantly surprise because that "scar" zoom in was a treat lol.

I feel bad for the bodyguards. I'd only take that job if they pay me handsomely lol.

I never agreed with how their copyright distribution works. I was only referring to the style and plot of their dramas. As a foreign fan, of course, I would like more Jdoramas to be available worldwide. Nobody wants to scour around for subs, and this is coming from somebody who has been doing that for more than a decade.

I'm in USA as well, and season 3 just came out yesterday, that's why I wanted to check out this Jdorama after. I grew up watching the anime.

The original source is actually much older. It is from a 1979 manga (and is later made into an anime) which is also an adaptation of the 1905 French novel Arsène Lupin. I highly recommend the French Netflix series Lupin for a more serious take on the adaptation.

This is just all sorts of weird, and I love Jdoramas for that. It's funny!

That's some persistence right there lol. I gave up after my 3rd or 4th attempt (it's a really bad sign if you keep doing other things while watching a series), and I found a better drama that was airing at the same time -- See You in My 19th Life.

Same. And this came right after that, so I had high expectations. I guess it's hard to tell with Cdramas since they are preproduced. Who knows. Maybe he's currently doing dramas with better scripts. (Crosses fingers).

The drama was great when it focused on the leads since they have a wholesome and healthy relationship, but whenever they focus on the business (the co-workers were alright, especially the 2 bosses) and side couples, it was boring to death. And they did just that in the last 2 episodes. In fact, the leads had less and less screentime together, and I started not caring anymore.

I couldn't stand King the Land even though I love almost all of Lee Junho's dramas. Imagine my disappointment when I got obsessed with The Red Sleeve and was proud of Junho's success for it to be only followed by King the Land lol.

Yeah, 'cause the business side is there to help make the story lengthy. And there are no real solutions. I stayed for the couple. I wonder what's the requirement to become a scriptwriter in China lol.

I said something similar, but if you haven't watched My Marvelous Fable, he plays the ordinary, quirky, and dorky writer's assistant. That's his best drama and performance that I have seen yet.

My mom sells both designer and non-designer jewelery since my grandma used to as well. Tiffany and Co has silver stuff as well, so it depends. And yes, gold does have value, but a simple design like that can easily be replicated and be sold at a lot more affordable price. I mean, you have to admit, it does look like handcuffs lol. I do like their link necklace, though. And well, to each their own.

That just means without the brand name, it's worth nothing lol.

But isn't that how it works in real life too? Well, especially here in America. I see "odd pairings" all the time because the personality is what matters the most. It's not realy so much about if their looks are at the same level. That would be a boring world then. It's like saying you should only get together with your "own kind."

But I do agree with the plot being all over the place. Still enjoying the chemistry though since Jo Bo Ah is the older one, but she seems like the younger one with her naturally cute demeanor.

They just grew fond of each other after spending a lot of time and getting to know each other? Romance has no logic, especially in dramas.

Are there any recommedations for Asian dramas like this where fl has a strong personality?

Count me in. You would think with 8 billion people in the would it would be easy to find one. You can't tell me dramas ruined men lol.
