Can I just get into the screen and kill that sister? Can't she see that her sister is happier with another guy…
Which sister? JBY is an only child as far as I'm concerned. Well, don't take it from somebody who is skillfully using the fastforward button for unnecessary scenes lol.
P.S. I already manipulated myself into thinking the third couple and the uncle are just some nosy neighbors from her make-believe hometown. They solely exist to make her life harder than it already is. And I'm not too concerned about skipping their scenes since her ex-husband and bestfriend already bring more than enough trouble. Story conflict solved.
This is the show we should have been watching all along. How many hours have been wasted on the hockey trio? I…
Let's pretend this is like one of those Kdramas that typically air twice a week. The recent previous episodes never happened. We are all coming back from the stage incident lol.
Unfortunately, yes. Majority of the people who are not good at that are the ones who fall behind the rat race…
My pride, dignity, culture, and upbringing won't let me. Never have lived to please others but myself, so I know I'm taking the harder (and slower) route to the so-called "success." Word of advise, try not to force yourself too much as it might affect your mental health which should be above everything else (=
It appears to be just normal to network and get business by drinking and socializing since we saw LSS do a lot…
Unfortunately, yes. Majority of the people who are not good at that are the ones who fall behind the rat race (like me). The more I grow older the more I'm realizing the other skills to get the job done are not as important in the harsh unfair world compared to socializing skills (aka schmoozing).
Last two episodes were so frustrating! As much as everyone hates the ex husband - he does have good points - and…
Great points. His situation is just like mine and the majority of the working class and middle class college graduates in their 20s. I'm sick of the work system and getting taking advantage of, but how do I start a business when I have no contacts and money? The dilemma....
Episode 21's title should be "She Dropped a Bomb on Me" lol. That scene with Jian Bing and her ex-husband was gold. Go ahead give the hypocrite a taste of his own medicine. The ex and bestfriend can both enjoy a miserable relationship, and just leave the leads alone.
The leads are getting less and less screen time, and here I am all distracted being on my phone while watching the latest episodes. Not a good sign at all.
i like it but so much time is spent on the side characters and i honestly don’t care. i spend half an episode…
Me too. I don't understand why Cdramas must have long episodes, and they do that by adding a bunch of useless side character stories. I guess money talks.
Episode 21 trailer is a-must-see. Shen Yang is all like, "Jerkface detected. Avoid contact at all cost." The faceoff between the ml and the ex-husband would definitely amusing. Shen Yang is basically flipping him off with just his expressions lol.
Lol Sheng Yang is shooting daggers and lasers with his eyes during dinner. And mom is super unaware she's the target. Reminds me of Love Is Sweet's scene where ml visited the fl's mom.
Episode 14 preview is gold! The dad never fails to make us laugh. His "highest courtesy" performance is hilarious. Love how he blamed it on his wife. And then, Sheng Yang proved that he's his dad's son afterall at the end of the preview with that disapproving face he made. He just couldn't believe mom would ask his 10-year-crush to be bestfriends with her XD
Can't wait for episode 14's family dinner with 8 dishes for 4 people lol! Sheng Yang's parents are so entertaining. The dad's lines are just too funny:
"Your son is the emperor, your the empress, and I'm just a servant. Oh, look, I even got a paper (with list of duties)!"
Man, I could imagine how fun it would be once they become the fl's in-laws. Let's hope there would be less backlash about the age gap from the parents. Or at least make it short.
Xiao Zhan reminds me of one of my favorite actors, Wallace Huo when he was young. I'm really warming up to him. And dare I say that he is actually a better actor compared to Wallace when he was his age.

They solely exist to make her life harder than it already is. And I'm not too concerned about skipping their scenes since her ex-husband and bestfriend already bring more than enough trouble.
