If someone is liking this type of plot I definitely recommend you watching 'Signal', it's a great drama and I…
You beat me to it. The adrenaline and excitement I felt when I watched Signal never returned until this drama came (not the same level of interest and awe though). That's why it reminded me of Signal. They're different and a drama like Signal is hard to come by, so this is already a huge compliment.
After watching that 2002 World Cup scene, am I the only one who wants to see more scenes of their past -- life as teen parents?
I mean they could extend this and dedicate episodes of those years. Lee Do Hyun is definitely slaying those emotional and life as a young dad scenes, and I want to see mooooreeee of those!
How come I didn't notice him earlier?!? I watched 30 but 17 and he didn't catch my eye at that time (probably…
Same. 30 but 17 was my first drama of his, but I think I noticed him just not like this after watching 18 again. And my god, I just learned we're the same age! Perfect match haha jk. And btw, I dropped Hotel De Luna after 2 or 3 episodes since I found myself zoning out lol. I remember that he was the best and only good thing in it though haha. So I don't recommend it, and his screentime is not even 1/4 of the show. Maybe just watch his clips XD
You definitely aren't weird. Different people just want different things in life and that is totally fine.
Thanks for you saying that. I think the same way as you are. Some of my friends think there's something wrong with my thinking and my mom just pretends she didn't hear anything whenever I said I'm never gonna get married lol.
Am I weird but I actually think the same way as the female lead? I hate marriage and can't imagine myself with a husband in the future but I might want a kid or two. So to me it makes sense to keep the child not the dad if you want to be an independent single woman free from patriarchy haha. I just see it as people having different ideas on how to live their life or how they want to create a family.
The only problem in this drama is if this is in real life, she should've told him the conditions. 'Cause I would do the same thing too if and when I plan to have a kid in the future. Anyway, this drama reminds me of Tina Fey's movie where she hired a surrogate mother since she's single and wanted to have babies and I love that movie. I say this plot is new to Asian dramas so definitely recommended.
I love this show, but is it me or there's something weird about episode 9. I don't know if it's because I am tired,…
There was no purpose or at least, they haven't told us yet, which had been the case since episode 1. Everything is just a mystery right now until they show all the flashback. I figured what's wrong with this show. It's super disjointed. They want everything to be a mystery which makes us confused. To top it off, they make it extra confusing by focusing on a lot of characters but don't really explain what's the purpose of the extra characters. It seems the timing is all off -- both the flashbacks and the present scenes.
Eeey came here for the action and spy thing, ended up falling in love with the couple. LolI don't care much of…
Same. The 2 leads are good at selling their chemistry and romance, that's why I'm staying. Too bad, as I expected a lot from the writer of Heartless City. It is the one of the best action dramas and has an intricate and deep plotabout the baddies or villains (gangsters to be specific) are actually the protagonists unlike this one.
Ep 14..anyways the kids was just ..wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....t was really so good...Lee Do Hyun is really one of…
Changed it. Guess I got super excited for the next episode. And yes, I'm paying more attention to him now. After watching this drama he is now on my radar :)
Brain: Well, this is awkward. The guy is like 15 years younger.
5 seconds later...(in the voice of Spongebob's narrator)
Heart/hormones: Well, I didn't know Lee Do Hyun is such a good kisser! Hee. Age gap doesn't matter now (focus on him not the female lead) *replays scene* XD
You win!!! ahahaha! It's hard to find hot guys nowadays because of watching too much kdramas and cdramas!!! lmaoooo!
Yeah. Like the saying goes, "The grass is not always greener on the other side." I hope everybody's taking care of not just their physical health but also mental health, especially in times like this. I have a feeling that in the future, they'll release an intensive study how depression became more prominent during the pandemic.
Yeeeees!!! Tarachanzu~ A Love Shuffle fan is a rarity. Nice to see you here, fellow fan! Yay Panda! P.S. I've…
It worked out so well cause they got to know each other and they decided who's the best partner for them. Airu is still one of my favorite female leads. She is a proud tomboy, independent, and successful. And oh she has one of the most fun and interesting personality. I really aspire to be like her. I think this drama tells you not be afraid to be weird/quirky, broken, and imperfect. Somebody who likes you for who you are will appreciate you as a whole. It's like Nirvana's song, "Come As You Are."

Me too! I kept singing praises about it when I first watched it. It was one of the few dramas where I could say, "It was perfect!" And since you mentioned switching partners, the most interesting was the odd pair -- Reiko and Usa-tan! Lol. The pervert and seductress haha! Well I also liked Kiku-rin and Reiko. The "perfect" doctor finally met an opponent he deserves. And Yukichi and Kairi is just- They're like two innocent bunnies haha. I can't forget that ice munching scene! Haaaa now I have to watch it again...

Sadly, the dream only happened once lol. I guess a VR where you get to pick the people and scenario in it would be awesome. Now, I would definitely buy that and that would probably cure my drama addiction haha.
Yes, he's the first person I know that died because of that, so I got affected during that time even if I'm just a fan. The worse part is this year there are several Japanese celebrities who committed suicide. I'm guessing COVID and isolation played a huge part. And yeah, he is gorgeous and so is his smile. Plus it helps that he can act, dance, and sing to add to his many charms. The guy was doing a lot of projects this year (new album, films, dramas) too and a lot became unfinished.
Haha this is perfect :D But it's a wonder that you can still see who's handsome/pretty even if they have a mask…
Lucky! I'm sure there are a lot of good-looking people there. I want to visit there too when this is over. I know. Asian Dramas are great escapism. Been doing it for 10+ years now haha.
You win!!! ahahaha! It's hard to find hot guys nowadays because of watching too much kdramas and cdramas!!! lmaoooo!
Haha harem. I even had a dream where I live in a house with all-guy roomates and they're my favorite actors. I never want to wake up but I did lol.
Request accepted. Ah, there's a sad story to that question. Short answer: Miura Haruma, famous and talented Japanese actor. Long answer: He commited suicide back in July, so I changed my photo in memory of him. He had a lot of awesome works with deep stories and rich characters. I recommend Bloody Monday, Okane no Kireme ga Koi no Hajimari, and Banana? At This Time of Night? (film based on a true story). He even acted in theatre - Kinky Boots.

Haha your comment made me laugh so hard. This pandemic is making us weird and crazy. I guess your on East Coast since you ride the tram. Based on my experience, there are more good-looking people there. I'm in Las Vegas where there are a lot of hot girls but average or scary-looking guys lol.
I came here coz I saw Haruma Miura at the poster. I miss his beautiful smile. The best actor in my heart forever! In…
I said the same thing. He's big figure too when it comes to the early Jdoramas that garnered many international fans. Bloody Monday, Koizora, Kimi no Todoke, etc. When those shows came out, those were the heydays of Jdoramas for international fans. I remember that there was a time that it was bigger than Kdramas, albeit, for a very short period.
Now I'm reminded of the good ole days of MySoju, D-addicts, Dramafever, Crunchyroll, and Viiikiii (now Viki).
