I'm probably the minority here, but I feel like they shouldn't have shown Eun Oh's background story. Instead of feeling sympathy, I felt annoyance. I mean come on now. Who here hasn't experience hardships like she did? I bet some of us here experience worse things.

But how many of us here hurt an innocent person to the point of breaking them just because of bad experiences!?!? Sorry, there's no understandable excuse for that. All I could think of is she's a sadist and masochist at the same time.

I said the same thing on the Run On page haha. I even mentioned that some people think that's selfish thinking, but I think that's healthy thinking.

My mom even asked me once why am I only thinking of myself when my dad and her relationship is on the rocks (for almost forever and still going strong). I told her do you want me to think of other people first then? I mean what can you do when other people don't want to fix themselves first and expect others to do it for them? That's not how life works. Sorry, I blabbered too much. Must be the COVID distance thing haha.

I love Mi Joo and Seon Gyum's "pillow talk". It's true that you will only live with one person forever: yourself. Therefore, you should love yourself before you love others. I don't think it's selfish thinking. People come and go, and even if you get married, who knows who will end up dying first. Whether it's you or your partner, you will end up dying alone. What I mean is the journey to life and death will mostly involve one person: yourself.

That's what this drama is actually selling: love yourself first before others which also means you can stand up on your own if you believe in yourself.

This drama gets a 10 just for having proactive young women haha. Usually Kdramas only portray cougars as proactive or women in their late 30s to 50s.

Whatever happens, Ju Kyung's dad will always be Kaist to me. Haha I just love that actor and he is perfect as a comedian and villain at the same time.

A healthy relationship means no angsty teen drama which exactly what this is haha. So sorry that's a contradiction to this type of drama.

I just wish they made this into a college drama considering the leads' age. But then again, that would make it exactly like Cha Eun Woo's previous drama. Haaaa...dilemma.

This totally slipped under my radar. Ayase Haruka and Takahashi Issei! What else can you ask for? This is creme de le cream!

Lol. The last episode was too fun. Makes me think if this was pure comedy not high school romance, it would've been comedy gold!!!

That's a yes and no. A great actor/actress is capable of conveying feelings through microexpressions or body language. That's why we have method actors/actresses. My favorite example is Kim Jae Wook. His character in Who Are You is a ghost who has no ability to speak or make any sound. But since the guy is so skilled, he is able to convey his emotions 100x better than Taecyeon (idol actor, the male lead) who plays a character who is a human. I mean I can feel the pain by just looking at his somber eyes and by the way his face muscles contorts or the corners of his mouth droops. I mean even the way he walks tells me if he's confident or unsure.

I just feel that Cha Eun Woo just really lacks life experience in order to convey emotions better. Or he just really needs to go to acting school. It will be a waste to have that pretty just stay as a pretty face. Again, like a statue. C'mon you need to come to life, dude! Lol.

I really want to root for Suho but after watching the nonstop comedy that is episode 6 and finding almost every character funny, it made me realize more that the actor, Cha Eun Woo is nice to look or marvel at just like a statue. That's it though. The episode just showcases how limited his acting skills are when I actually find the kid brother or even the store owner more interesting. It made me change my mind about the main couple, and it's not because I love the second male lead, but Hwang In Yeop just simply shows more than one expression or emotion than Cha Eun Woo haha. Just thought the love of both humans (female and second male lead) would be more entertaining than watching the love of a human and a statue lol.

P.S. Please don't throw eggs at me. Oh wait, you can't. Haha. But hey, Suho or Cha In Woo is still an eye candy. The end.

Like you, I also watch Kdramas, but Jdoramas are just more special to me. And yes, I even studied both Japanese language and culture/history in college.

I was going to say the same thing. It can't get any better than that!!! It's a shame there's really not much hype when it comes to Jdoramas.

And don't forget the fitting soundtrack. It's not the usual blaring music that screams "love is the moment" along with a female singer hitting the high notes as if it makes the scene more intense haha.

I don't care about his height anymore, especially when he is in his 30s and still this cuteee!!! The guy is a lot cuter than most dudes in their 20s for sure. Heck, I'm a woman and this dude is cuter than me. And I love it!

I don't know about you, but I feel so proud of Lee Joon Ki (Chun Sam) as he finally made his dream come true of becoming an actor lol. And a historical drama at that too. All that hard and embarrassing work that he did in Eulachacha Waikiki paid off haha.

I didn't read the webcomic, so the plot is fine to me, especially for a short series. I didn't have any expectations since I couldn't compare it with the original source.

I actually thought I was the only one who tried hard to understand the praises for this drama. I watched it until episode 4 but sadly, I couldn't watch a full episode without doing something else. I just mostly let it play in the background. When it comes to action or thriller, Alice in Borderland is the one right up my alley for this season. Recommended if you haven't watched it.
