WARNING: Don't watch episode 16! The cheese is too much and not in a good way. It makes me feel agitated like I want to throw a cat out of the window. I want to destroy hundreds of pillows. It even makes me want to kill coackroaches!!! Haha I'm laughing but I'm serious.
Really, I couldn't even watch it fully since I kept looking away. I want to throw salt at them to wake them up and tone down the sweetness and rainbows. How do I explain it. Like teens having their first relationship and they copied relationship ideas from fluffy teen dramas or shoujo mangas. Seriously, I even want to go back to their old relationship - bickering and playing around with each other. This is just not what I expected at all lol.
So basically in ep 24...Ling Rui's mom wento see Fang Ning and ask to talk to Ling Rui so he can go to Germany…
Watch Search (OCN drama). I love Search and the leads, especially Jang Do Yoon. I'm not into zombie shows but I love the military setting and the fact that the lead is a military dog handler not the typical sniper or captain.
Who needs enemies when you have friends like that omgh
Haha nice to see you here. It's rare to find someone who watches Jdoramas, especially a Cdrama viewer. Btw, I agree. I even described the friend using a song: This hoe's ain't loyal. Lol.
If you want a summary of this drama, Mizuki (the female lead's bestfriend) just needs to be described using Chris…
(Sings.) This hoe's ain't loyal.
I mean, I would cut off that friend in a flash like our friendship never happened. And Hana is just...*sigh* You need to grow a backbone, lady, before you start another relationship. It's good that the male lead is helping her, but they should be friends for now since they both have baggage and they stil don't know each other (c'mon, just 2 encounters and they fell in love).
That's exactly how i felt when watching cdramas. Too many unnecessary plots.
I'm not saying this is a bad drama though. I said the leads' story is interesting but not the secondary. I'm still watching and we were just talking about Cdrama romcoms in general. And yes, we all agree to disagree, that's why I love dicussions or debates. You always hear a new perspective and learn something new.

Yes. They want to to tell stories about unimportant characters, so they end up not putting more thought to the main leads story. Very scattered. If they want to do a multicharacter story, then don't create a plot about just two people but a group of people intertwined with each other and actually serve purpose to the plot. Jdoramas are better when it comes to dramas like that because they have those elements I mentioned. The only Cdrama that has those elements somehow is Go Ahead where the father actually stole the show and his relationship with his children is just too good that it will make you jealous.
More than seeing them as annoying, I see them as fillers. When I see them on the screen I'm like, "Welp, time to skip." It's because the second male lead is stoic and uninteresting while the second female lead is just a fangirl who daydreams all day. They're basically caricatures. Too...one-dimensional and that's true for almost all secondary couples in the Cdrama world. They're just there for the sake of having secondary characters. They serve no purpose to the plot. They are not even helping to move the plot -_-
2 words to summarize episode 13: OVERLY DRAMATIC. Even most of the background songs are dramatic. I don't know why most Cdramas always opt for the dramatic effect just like a stage play versus natural or more realistic.
The most subtle and more realistic Cdrama I ever watched was Go Ahead. Well, I guess that one is more like slice-of-life than romcom, so it makes sense. The only less cliche or more natural romcom is probably Love is Sweet (but then again, the plot is not the best, the leads saved it). Anyway, all Cdrama romcoms I watched, I always have the fast forward button on standby. I still don't understand why they have to stretch a simple and fluffy love story to 30 or so episodes and create loads of unnecessary extra characters and second or third couples. Why not condense it, make it simple, and hire less supporting cast to save time and budget. And not to mention, to save the story quality.
Saaaammeee. Too bad he is a new actor, so this is the only show I can rewatch where he is main lead.
It's whenever they want to do it before the age limit for enlistment (which is around 30). They can do it even as soon as they graduated from high school. Some actors decided to do it early (i.e., Jin Goo) which is more beneficial, so they can just get it done and over with and focus on their career afterwards without worrying about it, especially when they rise to stardom.
You definitely aren't weird. Different people just want different things in life and that is totally fine.
Uhm...I never said I was going to follow what the female lead did. Like I said, I don't plan to get married like her, and I did mention I didn't agree with her when she hid those conditions from him. I just mentioned I might plan to have a kid but not a husband whether that's through in vitro or boyfriend. Who knows, but definitely not like her -- fooling a guy into marriage for that. You misunderstood me. Plus, your conclusions were baseless when my comment was brief and general. I didn't say anything about taking the kids away from their father. There's always the option for joint custody which the female lead probably mentioned. I think you were being too sensitive and reading too much into my comment.
If someone is liking this type of plot I definitely recommend you watching 'Signal', it's a great drama and I…
You beat me to it. The adrenaline and excitement I felt when I watched Signal never returned until this drama came (although not the same level of interest and awe). That's why it reminded me of Signal. They're different, butboth are time travel suspense series. A drama like Signal is hard to come by, so this is already a huge compliment.
