I think tomorrow's episodes will be both good and bad based on the previews.
33 is good because finally! We have a woman in a Cdrama who fights for what she wants! That's rare! I love that she said she has her own life and can support herself *standing ovation* Now, this is a good conflict; not angsty or dramatic nonsense plot element.
34 is bad because love triangle ensues yet again. Maybe there will be one bad scene then a lot of good scenes between the two leads? *crosses fingers*
I never thought that the line, "Do you want to sleep with me" will be asked to a dog! Lol I died during that scene.
I just love that the male lead in this drama is a dog handler. They don't really make those military shows with a lead that is not a sniper or captain in the army. It's also a huge plus that both male leads are handsome and buff guys wahaha.
Would you say the same thing if the female lead is masculine?
Femininity and masculinity are nothing but standards set by society for the two prominent genders. They're not innate and have nothing to do with morals or ethics. This means one shouldn't let gender roles determine or shape his or her identity. Do you do something just because you are expected to do it? And are society's expectations always right? Those questions basically sum up those traits. Really, those are nothing but labels.
Despite the age controversy, I actually love the coziness of this drama. I just like stories like this where you find and choose your family, unintentionally. They probably don't know it now, but Rara, Jun, the hairstylist lady and her daughter, and even her daughter's friend (I'm leaving out the doctor for now) are actually like a big and odd family.
Wth why do Chinese men in dramas always act like women can't do shit on their own, not even tie their own shoes?…
Well this drama is kinda better in handling that issue.
I had the same problem before and complained about the episode where she was forced to drink by their clients, and the male lead had to come and rescue her before she kills herself with the alcohol or tear allergy. However, as you watch more episodes, the female lead kept insisting and proving that she changed and became more independent after those 10 years they were apart.
In the beginning, the male lead still saw her as the same vulnerable little girl or teenager who he had to protect because of the tear allergy (I mean he was even paid by her dad to protect her). But after working with her for a while, they became more of an allies rather than hero and damsel-in-distress. She proved herself by surviving in their work environment with little to no support from him and by putting the pieces together or investigating on her own instead of just believing his words when her father's case was brought up in the latest episodes.
It's definitely not perfect, but this is a step up from the Chinese rom-coms I've watched before. I recommend Search: WWW for female-centric and independent women kinda tv series. It's hard to find what you're looking for in rom-coms in general, unfortunately.
Seriously?!? Ep 30 could be the end of the drama... What are they gonna tell in the last 6 eps?
You should watch the preview for episode 32. I am not fluent in Mandarin but I think I understood Yuan Xuai at that moment when he shouted, I might be wrong though, "I'm going to be a ___!" Yup, I'm most likely going to have sleepless nights until Sunday comes haha.
There is really no need for YS to lie to JJ. Even if he needs to pretend like he went out of China, there is absolutely…
Zi Qui Ge I agree with you haha (I still miss Go Ahead). I was totally confused about the whole point of keeping the plan a secret from her. I mean when the guys were talking about it, I kept thinking, "Are you trying to protect a child?" She's an independent woman who can make her own decisions *shakes head* But the female lead being smart made up for that.
I love that our female lead is smart. And I love her reaction in episode 30's preview. I mean I would do that much and more if that happened to me haha.
Haha I love our hitman, "Clean Cut" and his suave Boss. And did I mention how much I love that eye wrinkle or vein that appears whenever "Clean Cut" smiles? I'm so a Luo Yun Xi fan now haha.
That...was totally random haha. If you're talking about their body figure, then yeah, since they're both skinny. But that's where the similarity stops lol.
So sweet Bai lu and Leo Luohttps://twitter.com/i/status/1317329486568849408
I know for sure I don't want to sit next to them on an airplane 'cause the awkwardness would be surreal haha. Imagine hours of withstanding that kind of pda lol.

Wangcai with his doggy eyes is just awesome. He's probably saying this with his eyes:
Dude is crazy.
I'm sure this scene will be hilarious! Can't wait for Sunday to come!
Edit: I forgot Wangcai is a she not a he lol. That's why Yuan Xuai said sister haha.
P.S. Kicking his luggage was just perfect lol.
