@justine With u on this one. Gao & FL are those ‘protected/ lucky’ ones where they kinda thought that the world revolves around them. And sometimes ‘extreme measures’ are necessary to wake them up (ooops… imo) lol. And Gao made a ‘silly’ but humongous mistake during the presentation where he tried to change the navigation bar literally few minutes before his turn. The mistakes may not cost FL & Gao too much but ML needs the money.
This drama is so damnn good. I feel like here every character is imperfect at some points which is realistic bcoz…
Your summary is spot on. Everybody has its own story - some has to struggle from the beginning and they tend to mature earlier. And there are some who’s ‘protected’ and just realised that the world doesn’t revolve around them and it kinda irritates them - its an individual/ personal decision to make afterward. FL decided to accept it and learn from others. Gao chose to go the ‘other way’. And all these, as we all know it as ‘That’s Life’.

Yup... again, this drama 'bravely' showed the weakness side/ imperfection of the ML when he played the volleyball. Even when he managed to fulfill the 8 passing points - he was portrayed as a tired/ struggling/ barely survived college student (lol). And this was a nice change rather than the typical 'smug' scene of a hero/ML where somehow, they are just miraculously good at everything... sigh... LOL

I agree... actually that's what i meant by the 'cliche' part (bad boy falls for the good girl) but it was differentiated by the execution of it : The subtle things that they did to each other without even saying out loud the three famous words 'I love you/ I like you', and they didn't even kiss yet - but, we could feel the love they have for each other. The drama focuses on the simple little details to show us the relationship of ML and FL - that's why I find it so refreshing.
And just to add - I like that the FL doesn't easily get blushed/ shy away like most typical drama when the ML approached her (the usual scene where the ML pinned the FL to the wall LOL) but instead she kinda always have the last word when it happened.
Just finished ep 16 and still loving it... Admittedly, cliche plot line (the bad boy, who also happened to be a genius, will do anything for the girl he love, etc... lol) but imo, the overall execution of it especially the actors who bring out the characters to life, without being too... annoying makes the differences and that's what I love about this drama.

It’s so refreshing as ‘everything’ is out in the open from the beginning. Just love the flow of the story - how it unravel things openly. And the actors portrayed each character amazingly without being too annoying. The subtle ‘love interaction’ between the ML and FL is just right.

Based on your synopsis - I could understand why - seems that lots are still ‘shocked’ at the ending that they were ‘speechless’ to go into details (or it could be me who browsed through too quickly) LOL. Guessed the drama ends at ep 24 for me then.

Despite its cliche story line, its still believable why the FL 'waits' till 2/3 of the drama to believe the ML is innocent coz nobody tells her anything - she had to make assumptions with what info that she has. Still, FL is pretty much likable throughout and most importantly, the ML is HOT. Worth repeating - the ML is H.O.T lol...

I’ve no issue about the moments between XT-MC or XT-LQ coz both kinda has its own chemistry. Even though i do prefer MC but the ending still caught me by surprise. Its surprising coz the second half of the drama focuses on XT and LQ relationship and MC ‘was nowhere to be found’ until the last 2 eps (and his screen time was kinda short as if he was playing a guest role lol)
But then… literally at the last few minutes of the last episode MC was on the other side of the door. I was like ‘huh! (lol) What happened, what did i missed?’ Still happy it was MC but i was still like ‘huh! What happened, what did i missed?’ lmao.
