How should i say this - as at ep 15, I kinda accepted that they’re not gonna be together. But the buildup in ep 16 kinda makes me frustrated a lot. It hinted that they actually married each other but then at the final few minutes, it turned out they didn’t. I was like ‘What?!!! What happened? ‘ LOL.
Its kinda like; On Monday - I wanna make a 100k housing loan from the bank and they said it’s impossible based on my financial history. I concurred as its a good justification. ‘Case closed’.
But then on Tuesday, the bank said it is actually possible as they found a way to approve the loan - 99% guaranteed. So I proceed with all the preparations (even dreamt about furniture shopping) LOL. But then, at the last minute - the bank said its not approve. Can’t really be angry about it because there’s still that 1% probability rite. But the hope, the happiness that I thought that it is still possible to own a house (the dreams of furniture shopping invested LOL) came crushing down in an instant. Thats how i felt in ep 16 (if it makes sense to others) LOL.
This episode pretty much solidified why this show is one of the best kdramas I’ve ever watched (and I’ve watched…
Felt exactly the same way. Not that I’m ‘not sad’ that they may not end up together (still hoping for it lol), but 9/11 tragedy seems like the only justified reason for them to drift apart. And whatever may come in the final episode - this is still a drama worth watching.
2521 has really helped us to understand another beautiful definition of love.
With you on this one. Just like the saying ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ - it has so many definitions depending on who’s looking at it. So is love - there are some that considered the love confession is not appropriate considering HD is still in high school but imo it kinda shows how YJ admire HD as she inspires him to give his best, supports him and made him smile - and for this he confesses his love to her. Maybe he just wanted HD to know that she is ‘somebody’ and is worthy of love (HD never felt that way with her mom and the issue with the gold medal thingy - it kinda hurt her a lot rite lol).

I was wondering about why the father used his ‘brother’s’ name instead of YJ himself - I thought maybe because the father kinda loves the youngest son more (or something along that line LOL). And there were times I thought I caught YJ refers to his ‘mother’ as ‘aunt’.
Just finished re-watching this movie and it is still the light and fluffy and cute drama, just as I remembered it. The acting helped as well as they were so natural in playing each of their roles. 1 thing changed though - just realized how 'cute/ more to good looking' young Shuhei is (Araki Towa) LOL.
Loved the whole thing about this drama. As one the review said ‘Home is a felling and this felt at home’ - it’s funny, it’s loving, it doesnt make sense yet it did LOL. All played their part superbly…

I kinda like it that the drama opt to remind us about how much ML loves Miharu in each episodes. It builds up my frustration about how dense could the ML be? Arghhhh… With this being said, it keeps me going until the next episodes where I could finally say ‘Now you realize how precious the FL is…’ and in the last few episodes, I got that ‘In-your-face’ satisfaction LOL.
Just finished the drama though I’ve to make my own ‘script’ for the last episode as there’s no sub available yet. Is the story original? A definite NO. It’s plot could be seen in many other dramas: started with a contract marriage and ends … So, do I recommend it? Definitely YES because IMO, the differences of all these similar plot dramas are the interpretation of their journey from 1st to last episodes and how well the actors act it out. And this one is kinda interesting…

Interesting drama and I do recommend it. I too was frustrated with the ML but then as it goes on...
How should I say it... First half/ or was it more like 3/4, I was soooo frustrated with the ML for living in the past and just wouldn't 'let go' of his first love. I was like, 'She's been dead for 11 years. Move on already'. Even made me think that this may not have a good ending - either both ends up as friends or each would stay on their current path.
But then, in the last few eps., FL realized that she too felt the same kind of love that ML has for his ex and she understands how hard it is to let go of someone you truly love. How FL portrayed this moment (the realization) made me understand why the ML was so insistence to not let go of his ex.
But still, as Yuta mentioned, why do you yearn/ wait for someone that you could never be with. And it's a good thing ML realizes this as well and thus, he moved forward.
And about the 'seems like ML doesn't love FL as much as FL loves ML' - i kinda agree with this one as well but then again... the chair he made was designed specifically with FL's in mind. And it was his masterpiece so, I'll just live it at that LOL.

I’m in 2022 - and loving it so far LOL. I guess thats the ‘magic’ of jdrama - though its ‘old’ but its still kinda relevant to watch it ‘now’ IMO of course. Been digging jdrama and movies lately and so far, it holds true.
Stumbled on this in Netflix. I am with those who preferred second season. SML is better here than the first one and I too wished the FL would end up with SML but nevertheless…

IMO: There’s no cure - she’s still sick. They’ll continue to save her whenever she has her attack until they couldn’t anymore. As they keep on pointing out, life is not about how long you have to live it - its about how you live your life.
