Spoiler: In the last episode, for a minute, they let you think the female lead died in a car accident. It is a "prank" the female lead is pulling on the male lead. It has been a bit, since I watch the 1st half. There might have been a similar "prank" done by the leading man??, earlier, too. No one dies.

This drama was quite adorable. It does not take itself too seriously. Has a happy/fun ending for some quirky and likable characters. I loved the overall love story. The male lead loves 1st and pursues the female lead. It even has elements of an unrequited love, since there is a patience and generosity in the way the male lead expresses his love. It got a tiny bit slow for me, toward the end, then it took a long time for me to finally sit down to watch the last 3 episodes. However the last episode was very satisfying and worth the watch. If you are like me... and need to be braced for any sad moments, and if those will ruin the mood, if you are not prepared... read spoiler below.

where are you watching it? I had put this on hold, because ep 9 never appeared... now I see it is on the site, I was watching on,(also 10) but won't load.

TMoPB is, believe, the more commonly used name. Eternal Love is the title Viki uses. Interesting that they do not have the story rights, but can still use all of the characters, etc... I won't pretend to know the rules in China for copyright though... I went ahead and rewatched, and it was just nice to see it again, to refresh my memory. Looks like they are using different storylines to get to some of the same main events. Definitely giving a different perspective on DHDJ. The timeline is a complete mess, compared to Eternal Love. I can only imagine, it is because they wanted to make A-Li a main character, throughout.

I finally finished it today. The couple does "get together", but there are very few love/skinship scenes. It felt a little anti-climactic to me... Early on, I shipped the main couple but by the time they finally got together, I was already over them, as a couple. I don't want to say that there was no chemistry... but it was more like, the chemistry that was between them did not feel much like lovers to me. Not a bad drama though. I really like the second lead character, and some of the side characters are fun.

... ah. I thought maybe it was following a particular mythology or storyline of one of the related dramas... There is not a tragedy tag, so I will cross my fingers then and hope the writers want to give a happy/satisfying ending. I try to stay away from tragedies because I have been known to cry for days after an unexpected tragic ending.

I need spoilers. Is this a tragic ending? Is the 2nd son heartbroken? Does the adoptive daughter fall for the wolf tribe guy?

I am watching on Viki. These episodes just cannot come out fast enough. I am enjoying it! The quality is definitely right up there with Eternal Love. ... btw, is anyone else going back to rewatch Eternal love to know chronologically where this story is in that drama? I am just starting my rewatch of Eternal Love today.

I truly am unsure if this will turn out to be a "romance". It is looking like one of those dramas that only hints at the very end that they will likely get together, but does not give you much in the way of Kissing scenes... However, my comment was just me being funny. As a long time drama watcher, who has come to expect at least an accidental kiss around ep 8 and then the actual kiss the second to the last episode. It is kind of like being given lunch every day for years, at 11:30. Then suddenly someone is saying Nope, maybe in a few more hours. Meanwhile, my blood sugar is dropping. lol.

9 episodes and still no kiss? are they sure this is a romance?

I randomly started watching this, and did not have many expectations, but it has been pretty adorable, so far. I totally cried during the wedding speech :)

If it is delivered in the same comedic, over the top, manner, yes. I don't think it would matter what the dynamic. Older female boss chases male temp worker, temp female chase work chases older male boss, temp male worker chases female boss... yep. Can't leave out same sex couples. Still funny. It isn't the dynamic that is as funny as it is the situations, and ridiculousness of someone saying any of that, and pursuing this in their workplace. I think all of those give opportunities for humor. In all of those scenarios, it is that person's choice to be dominated. If someone was going around trying to dominate someone else, then that would not be funny, it would be a crime... Are you saying you don't think this would be funny with any other dynamic than male Ceo bowing down to female temp worker? I do think it would be unlikely they could explain the two people not losing their jobs if one of them wasn't the ceo of the company, though.

You will see, if you look at my Custom lists, I am all about fluffy romance and light humor. I like that this drama has not been trying to take itself too seriously. It has been a lovely guy falls for girl 1st drama. I have found the leading male character almost as adorable as Xiang Qin(It Started with a Kiss), with his single-minded pursuit of his crush. He is so obviously smitten, he might as well have it tattooed on his forehead. I have been watching it slowly, but still enjoying it. I have several other airing dramas I am also watching, at the moment... 3 episodes to go, til I finish it. Love the dance too. I keep telling my husband I need to add this to my exercise routine for a bit of fun. He just looks at me crazy.

driving me crazy that i cant comment like on Viki.... watching newest ep. How does that guy have the power to treat him like that when his Dad is so high up?

I am not set against him. Like I said, "I will keep watching, maybe it will wear off after I watch a couple episodes." I generally do not have carry over feelings from past dramas. Strangely, I still keep getting the sense that I should not like/ship him. No idea why. ... and I am not new to dramas so this is not my first time seeing an actor as the lead after seeing him as and annoying character either. I don't remember it at all, but at some point I did start Memory Lost, but I put it "On Hold"... which is the graveyard for dramas on my list, I rarely pick them up again, if I send them to the on hold list. I might give it another look. I have heard people recommend Guardian before, I might look that one up.

Just trying the 1st ep. and it is totally throwing me off that the male lead is that punk from Love 020. I am not often bothered by the roles actors have played in the past. Not sure why it is now. I just keep getting the feeling that I should not be sympathizing or shipping this character. I will keep watching, maybe it will wear off after I watch a couple episodes.
