i don't think they would but i'd rather have it go that route tbh than have to endure 2-4 episodes of the amnesia…
Since the whole series is about a girl with amnesia finding her memory, I am surprised you are watching at all.... and even if a person dies, she still has amnesia.
wow. okay so the fake jang yoon (ywj) his real name is jang dohoon. why did he use his brother's name the question…
He used his name to jog her memory, I think. ... Well, at first I think it was to see if she would have a reaction. Originally he thought she might be faking the amnesia, I believe.
One of the things that Kdramas do best is mixing genres. It has definitely had a romcom feel, so far... but the…
I am a big believer in not wasting my time on dramas I don't love. I often drop dramas mid 1st episode. If I get further and it starts losing my interest, I give it one more week to pull me in again. I rarely put things on hold. From there, I usually go straight to drop, if I am not loving it. Hold is the kiss of death for me. I know if I am in the mood for a drama, I will pick something new before going back to a drama too boring for me to finish in the first place. lol. There are a few exceptions... one being City Hunter. I dropped that one, during the 1st episode, not once but twice. I only tried the 3rd time because it was recommended highly by someone I trusted. She told me to at least give it a couple episodes. I think it was around ep 3 that it had completely caught my interest.
Oooo, really enjoying the lead couple's story. I love complicated relationships and this is definitely one. Looking forward to tomorrows episode. I wonder if the tone will start to change now.
it's interesting to see people's reaction to this, I feel no thriller or suspense here. the fan theories have…
One of the things that Kdramas do best is mixing genres. It has definitely had a romcom feel, so far... but the beginning narration told you that This is not a romance, it is a journey. I personally love complicated love relationships, so I am so shipping the lead couple even if she did killed his brother. I was a major fan of Let's Eat and I get why you would make the comparison, since one of the main lead's was also a suspect during that. I think this one has a little more emphasis on the mystery than LE did though. I personally still have too many suspects to feel like I have it all figured out. Other than the leading man and Maestro, I am not familiar with any of the other actor/actresses... but so far, I really like the lead actress. It didn't even occur to me that acting might not be her main gig.
The final episode of 'WATCHER, which was broadcast on 25th, was 6.6% up to 7.3%. This is the highest audience…
Wow! I am never really sure what a good viewership number is. If that is high, it is very well deserved. I assume it was the director's decision to do that slow mo walk toward the camera/or still on the "watcher", so atm I am giving him credit for it... who ever it was, Genius! It was good all round with soundtrack, acting, directing, and although it got a little messy at times, the writing too. I will definitely recommend this drama.
did you watch also scenes after ending subtitles??? i think they are going to do 2 season
I don't remember who the person was that got killed. Do we know the significance of that? It was that prosecutor that did it, right? Because the new organization is supposed to be a joint effort with the prosecutors office, it makes sense to me that the next big bad will be a prosecutor, if there is a season 2... what do you think?
#SORRYNOTSORRY But I love me a dark romance lol I find them to be more compelling and entertaining than just a…
It is not my usual genre. I am a romcom addict. The fluffier the better. Still, this drama really impressed me. I want to put it on one of my custom lists, to recommend later... but I don't think I have a list that this drama would suit.
Calling a women with extreme low self esteem "stupid" and "pathetic" and "weak". Really? Bully much? This is one of the reasons so many people do not come forward about suffering abuse, because people are so ready to blame the victim. ... and how do abusers justify their actions? By blaming the victim. I have to say, that this is not my usual genre. I am a romcom addict. I like a good comedy. Imo, it was a daring character and story to write. I am impressed that it never felt too heavy, despite the serious topic. Hoshina was a preditor. He exploited her issues. You see the harsh reality of where a relationship like this would lead. The Hotta and Yoshizaki characters are heaven sent. They are so patient and kind to the leading lady. They are exactly the kind of supportive friends she needs.
I love this drama so much. Its been a while i have been invested in the story of a drama so much. And reading…
Early on, I considered the possibility that Kim Ian had attacked her and she stabbed in self defense. ... now that you mention it, It would kind of make sense that Kim Ian's dad would have a reason to cover it up without putting the blame on Yi Young if that was the case. I just don't think that is where the drama is going though... Another good point about her best friend not knowing anything about her being in a relationship, if she was in fact dating Kim Ian and as close as the pictures suggest. So... what if she was just his assistant and he was dating someone else altogether? If the significant other was the one there and taking the photos, they could have jokingly appeared to be so close in the photos. Here is a theory that someone else brought up, what if Kim Ian was gay and his lover was the Maestro. The father might have a motive to cover up everything, to keep the press from finding out his son was gay.
It´s really strange that he keeps saying his brother died in a car accident and I have so many questions already:1.What…
Ah, they do keep showing that ring. I didn't even consider it to be a couple ring. If it is, I think we will see the other one pop up, sooner or later. Either in Yi Youngs possession or someone else... It might explain a lot, if Maestro was bi-sexual and was in a couple with Kim Ian. I somehow can see him wanting to be close to someone that was also close to Kim Ian and also why the violinist would understand why he would be drawn to another pianist that played like him as well. It's not my top theory though. I keep wondering if the Maestro has a thing for Yi Young or if he is watching after her out of some kind of guilt? So far, I don't get the impression that he is just keeping tabs on her.
The foundation seems to favour people of influence/children of people with influence regardless of their skill…
Agree, there are still so many possibilities here. I think many of these clues that have been dropped could be red herrings meant to misdirect the audience. There are still plenty of episodes left. Too many possible surprises that can come up. I don't think we have enough info to go on yet.
You are forgetting that he was just a traffic police officer and was kind of pushed onto the team. He doesn't…
ya, that is inappropriate to use as a description of someone that is making poor choice/choices that do not make sense. It is insulting to people who are "developmentally disabled"(the correct term).
Kim Young Goon's stupidity will force me to low score the show at the end. A police officer dealing with such…
He is a cop but before that, he is a human who is going through a lot of emotional stuff. His first thoughts were about seeing if his father was a dirty cop and or somehow involved. His hobbies are not knitting and computers, His personality to start with is run into the fight. ... it is hinted at, as to why that is too. He said something to the effect that he had lived most of his life expecting to die anytime... also, he is someone with a repressed memory and guilt for wrongfully accusing his own father for murder. This is probably the root cause of his recklessness.
I have to say, that this is not my usual genre. I am a romcom addict. I like a good comedy.
