Surprised to see EN2 pop up, on Viki. I didn't realize it was coming out this month. Hopefully the subs will be added relatively quickly. I am going to run to refresh myself on what happened in the last episode of EN1.
My opinionI liked this drama. The beginning was nice, then everything went down hill. There were many scenes I…
I am only just up to about 19 where the subs stopped(on Viki). I did peak ahead ... watching up to about 24 without subs. From what I have seen so far, I think they have been showing *signs* that he has liked her all along. What can you do, when the other party is not picking up what you are putting down, though? Since early on, she is so obviously into the Zi Rui. There is no reason for him to foster any feelings he might have for her, much less, let them be known, if there is no indication that she may share them. the Master's Sun ....Spoiler: It's like in the Master's Sun... when Joo Wong confesses that he had been physically attracted to Gong Shil, he says (and I am paraphrasing), he had always sort of felt something when they had skinship, but he didn't want to "seem like the weird one", by saying anything about it, when she clearly seemed not to see him as a man. Spoiler over. However, you can only ignore your own feelings and/or keep it to yourself so long... it eventually has to come/spill out I especially like slow developed longer dramas, so I am ok with how slow the relationship is developing, so far. I totally agree, the ost is so good in this drama.
I really wanted to spread this drama out, and just watch 1 episode a day. Can't make myself stop watching. It just makes me smile, then laugh, then smile again. lol. So darn kooky and adorable.
I just started watching this and it looks very familiar.... wondering if I started watching it before and dropped it. It is hard to say, I sometimes don't add to my list if I drop after a couple episodes and if I don't finish, I used to just delete them from my list rather than leaving on drop list.
noticed this is in the coming soon section on Viki saying 3 days.... Even though, I am not sure if I will love the movie version, I am still excited to give it a try. Love that Park Hae Jin is in it. I thought he was the perfect actor in that role. I really enjoyed the drama and tend to be someone that like details, so I am a little afraid it will lose too much of the necessary story in the a movie version. (Hoping this will not be a Pride and Prejudice situation. I am a huge fan of the book and the BBC mini series with Colin Firth, and expected to love the movie too. However, imo, it was an abomination. They lost too many important scenes and I also think the casting was not well.).... I will definitely come back and give my opinion after watching later in the week. If it is too bad, I will just follow it up with another re-watch of the drama series.
If there is no chuck or chuck is a terrible actor/don't like his face I will be so mad. Chuck and Blair was the…
Gotta say, the Chuck and Blair romance was also my fav, while watching. Although, for a bit, I was really rooting for Blair and Dan. Honestly, Rewatching it for a second time, changes how you look at things alot too. The first time through, you see Dan as this really nice guy, who just keeps getting wrapped up in Serena's stuff, but the whole while ... right? Fantasy cast. Who would you choose to play Chuck in a chinese version? A few years ago, I would have said Vin Zhang, but he is probably too old for the part now.
There have been rumors of planned Gossip Girl remakes, that never came to pass. It is my most wanted show to be remade by other countries. Of course, I would really like a true remake, but even if it is just loosely inspired by GG, that is entertaining, I will be excited to watch it.
I agree with you. This is funny and nice drama to watch. People should watch dramas and enjoy it for drama itself…
I would agree if this was just a divorce. When you compare his situation with that of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, who filed for divorce around the same time, you can see it is not simply due to a divorce. There were nasty accusations about one another from both sides. He is actually suffering the effects of his own actions and his own choices. However, the writer, and fellow actors may be suffering from lower ratings, through no fault of their own, which may reflect in their pay for their next projects. In my opinion, it is most unfair for them.
I agree with you. This is funny and nice drama to watch. People should watch dramas and enjoy it for drama itself…
Personally, I think they should have replaced him, instead of moving forward with him as the lead. If they just had to have him, then they should have shelved it and aired it after this had blown over. It is only been 3 months since the scandal broke. I never really liked him that much, to begin with. It is a shame that his fellow actors have to suffer the negative feedback because he did not manage his personal life well. I love Kim Seul Gi and Oh Yeon Seo both, so I am going to try to give it a chance.
I'm definitely going to re-watch this at some point! I often watch my favorite scenes especially each time Gu…
sounds like you like the action. I like all the little things that reveal a bit about their relationships. - When they are taking the class together and Second Uncle Gu tells Yanruo to wait and watch, because she can handle herself. - When he argues publicly with Ming Lan about her ruining his marriage talks, and threatened to marry her. - When she has the private meeting with Yanruo at the party, and he is jealous and gets bent out of shape. - When they argue on their way back from visiting, and he tells her he thinks he has felt drunk ever since fishing her out of the river... I also like some of the scenes they show with Yanruo that contrast what type of relationship he had with her. - He tried pursuing her with presents. - He kept being too obvious, risking her reputation. - He made promises that he had no way of keeping....
I'm watching Ming Lan the first time right now, at ep 17. Although I really love it and also like the slow pace,…
If it helps to get through the difficult patches, most of the characters basically get the endings they deserve. ... and you are coming up to the some really fun episodes soon. Somewhere between ep 21 and 23, it gets interesting. warning: second half of ep 27 is very heavy and sad.
I watched this when it aired. Just starting to re-watch.. it is quite long, so wondering if I will be tempted to skip ahead “to the good parts”... or if I will Want to savor every second, like I did, the first time I watched it.
The last show by the writer strong woman was a mega hit in Korea so I guess they were hoping success will be repeated.
Strong Woman Do seemed like it was going to be stupid, but it was so freaking adorable. I loved it... so I guess I can see why they would give it a go. Thanks. that makes a lot of sense
the Master's Sun ....Spoiler:
