I clicked over to see what score you gave it, but I didn't see it in your completed drama list. Did you finish it? I happen to love it, but everyone has their own tastes. I adore the lead actress. I have liked everything she has been in. If you let me know a little bit about what you liked about the dramas you have liked, I can try to recommend one you might like better.

I watched this when it first aired. I am currently re-watching and forgot how good it was. Loving the second time through, so far. (watching on Viki) It is nice to not have to wait a week for the next two episodes. Knowing the outcome allows me to relax and enjoy every detail of the drama too.

Do you love the actor character story line? I thought it was funny that the Scarlet character wondered if he was really a good actor or is trash in real life too. Then later is amazed when she sees him smile ... since in the drama he is playing a character that is always doing trash things he always has his mean face on. It is totally true... You really can't tell how good an actor is until you have seen him/her take on more than just one type of role or see that in real life they are nothing like the character.

Cool. I love getting recommendations. Can you tell me if it had a happy ending? I try to stay away from full on drama and tragedy.

Park Morgan. At first, I didn't like him. He seemed too disinterested. I am warming up to the character now, though. Now that I have a sense of what I think the character is all about, I went back and rewatched the episodes up to today. A new perspective, I interpreted some of those scenes differently. Now wondering why I didn't like him right away. lol. fyi, I have been hearing he was an unlikable character in a previous drama and some that watched him in that are having hard time liking him in this now. That is not me. I don't remember seeing him in a drama before... yep. I just checked and I have seen several that he has been in, but none of the dramas he was a main character. I have only seen cameos and support. Nothing he made an impression in.

Watching on Viki. Just watched ep. 6 and really enjoying it.

I just started watching this on Viki. Definitely a quirky one. I am not exactly sure what and Enari is, yet.

I am really enjoying this. Bummer I am seeing so many bad reviews for the end. Up to ep. 23. I am almost afraid to keep watching it.

Oooo. I really like this, so far. I am watching on Viki and just up to ep. 5, as that is how far they are in subbing. I love Bai Lu. She always does these really fierce, commanding female characters that still manage to be likable. I have been burned by so many Chinese dramas with their everyone dies tragic endings, crossing my fingers that this one ends in a way that I will interpret it as a happy ending.

Oooh I will not be watching Goodbye My Princess. As a rule, I don't watch anything tagged Tragedy or Tearjerker. I kind of feel like I am taking a chance with this one tagged Wuxia because, in that genre, lead character deaths are pretty common. I will take a peek at a few episodes of GMP though, so I can see an example of good cgi, make up and dubbing. If you check out my custom lists, you will probably laugh for having recommended a tragedy to me. If you do give my lists a look, warning: Since it seems to be important to you. Bad Cgi and makeup do not = a bad score from me. Bad dubbing will sometimes bother me, but I often just adjust to it after a couple ep. and in the end, the only thing that actually effects the score I give is the characters and story.

The only thing I noticed cheesy, in this one, is the sick makeup...and even that didn't even make me cringe because I have seen so much worse. lol. I watch a lot of dramas and kind of expect stuff to be a bit ***, you know. This one, I thought was pretty decent in comparison to most. I am curious what Chinese weekly dramas are in your good column for Cgi, makeup, and dubbing?

NOOOOOOOO! It used to be available on Drama Fever, but now of course, drama fever is dead. And now, they have blocked it on youtube too. I am going to cry. Someone please let me know where I can buy an english subbed dvd or a site that now has the license to air this. Is there a way to find out who holds the license for a drama? It is pretty old, how much can the license to air it possibly be?

Can anyone tell me if there is a scene similar to the rooftop when jealous DMS punches the wall and tries to kiss Shancai, in the kdrama Boys over flowers version? I don't remember that happening in that one... but it has been several years since I watched it.
