seriously, the queen dowager is too much. how could she had the audacity to blame the crown prince of her neglecting the former crown prince?
she's evil but the husband is useless. what did he contribute to the family tho? at least she can be a good coach. no, I think it's better if he did nothing at all. he caused trouble because he thought he could make a decision.
just like the father from romance in the house.
and what's with the airing drama nowadays? I'm happy they addressed the fatherless issue but the audience is not ready I'm afraid.
you see, people are bleeding and everyone is blaming them. meanwhile there's this frog shitting on the corner. I'm so pissed.
I tried to put myself from the writer's perspective, and I believe in something I haven't seen instead.
if I were the writer, instead of making one character accidentally did something against the law, there was an alternative scenario. it was to repeat the history... I mean the tragedy.
let's just make him save the crown prince once again. how?
let's breakdown the character of the crown prince. but we need to see him from a wider view.
does he look like he wanted what he has now?
he's been living his life in his brother's stead. a brother he liked so much, a brother that lost his future to save him.
he took his brother's crown and carried the burden. but what did he really want for himself? did he even have a time to think about that tho? did he think he deserve to live his own life? did he even like tennis or he just liked his brother who played tennis? then the brother he liked the most became like someone else. all of the guilt, pressure and lost, he must have been insane if he wasn't insane under the circumferences.
I think ocd was just another sign. but like his brother, he also carried a wound more serious than what it looked.
what if the picture was a misleading? what if his brother just wanted to save him once again because that time he was the one who decided to end his life?
it said that was a bit miracle to save him that fast. the only probability was that they fell around the same time.
I personally think it was cruel of him to make it seemed like his brother committed the s-word. he could've just thought of a better excuse. his brother didn't give up like that even tho he suffered so bad to just live.
but why did he lie? in his defense, it was to protect his brother from getting triggered. he wanted him to forget his past memory, he couldn't just say that he saved him again. and another excuse, to protect his career. a career he built from his brother's blood, sweat and tears and cost his own life. he couldn't just let it vanish like that.
if you enjoy sfd you might enjoy the long ballad as well. it's a cdrama, and they kinda share the similar values…
may I guess, is romance not your cup of tea? yes, tlb contained romance but compared to a common romance historical, it has less amount of romance. the romance was just like the spice to add the flavor, the action and mystery are the main dishes. I wonder why it doesn't tagged as it is. both the fl and ml characters showed their martial arts skill here.
and my dearest mainly about their survival act in the middle of chaos. I think it should be tagged as action too. the fl doesn't have a martial art skill but she fights her own battle to survive. it's interesting to follow her character development. it's like women against the world kind of thing. honestly I haven't watch gone with the wind too lol but I'm tempted to read the novel.
yes, it's interesting. how do I say it, they're not really centered on that kind of romance?
about the poster, now that you said it, that's kinda make sense. I don't understand the objective elements of the poster like you do. I just thought something was missing but I couldn't tell what it was lol.
and this one is not my critique but more of my silly braincells having a conversation, if that's even make sense π that why do I feel like the queen in the new poster looks like lee soo hyuk more than lee soo hyuk himself π she's like living in his gwi era from the shoolar who walks the knight
the more they make it seems like seyan is his first love, the more it convinces me that actually the fl is the…
yes please, he deserves the light.
it's ironic but I like him better to stay in his narcissistic nature rather than in his inferiority complex mode. it was just so painful to see him suffered.
I mean he was such a confident kid to begin with. not saying that I condone a narcissist lol
one can easily have a sympathy for byeon mirae once they have a concern with the 'fatherless issue.'
and son naeun maybe not the best actress but she a suitable one to play this role.
this is coming from someone who used to trash her acting and drop to watch cinderella and the 4 knights.
I personally feel that her crying scene as mirae still needs an improvement tho. it didn't really convince me. but I realized that, a talent can be the best at the field but they may not be the suitable candidate. at the same time, one can be lacking in a certain part, but they may suit the most to do the job.
despite of my critique to her acting, I can honestly give her the credit to nail mirae's character.
I admit I cursed her at C&4K because it was so bad, and I cursed her again at dinner mate because it was so good that it annoyed me. I mean she played an annoying character. if you have a plan to release your emotion, I recommend you to watch this drama and witness (probably) the the most epic combo of toxic sml and sfl. I left feeling satisfied after so many cursing.
and I noticed that there's this one senior who did poorly of crying and drunk scene. I don't need to mention the name. the crying scene was worse than son naeun right now. but does that person is a bad actor/actress? no, in fact they nailed everything except expressing those two expressions. I haven't seen someone shitting on their lack of emotion in a certain part like they're shitting on the idol actor. why, because they're a senior?
the point is, no one deserves a hate. they can play the character even tho they may not the best talent. they can be the most suitable candidate the production team could get.
and does son naeun the best actress? no. does she's the suitable mirae? yes.
fl had a bad memory eraser used on her and doesn't remember it because it worked π
that's it π his dad was a psychiatrist, what if bad memory eraser was originally from his draft of the research. and she developed it without having a surgery.
okay the theory is a bit too much. but let me try π€£
I'm confused. I thought the ML rememebered something which is why his attitude changed but in ep 7, he is still…
he started to question it after being told by doctor teo of their past interaction. and he noticed the atmosphere was off when he introduced doctor kyung to shin as his first love.
and he stop pursuing her way before he doubt his memories. that was when doctor kyung knew about the relationship of doctor teo with her subordinate.
sometime along the way goon and doctor kyung caught in a confrontation with each other. he was hurt and he decided to stop pursuing her.
do you remember the test result that doctor teo did to goon without his and doctor kyung's consent? in conclusion, every time his first love rejects him, he's feeling inferior. that's when he starts to pull away from her.
I have a feeling the fl is the actual first love of the ml.
but why the fl doesn't remember it if it's her? but then the title of this drama is bad memory eraser. what if somehow she erased her past memory due to a trauma of what happened to her dad. unfotunately it not only erased her bad memory but also cost her childhood good memories of lee goon and sae yan.
and something in between, they got us confused that the first love was the sfl.
can I ask you, how she apologize fir that cut she made in his face because of her crazy behavior and her harsh…
that's not what happened. he KNEW it. and later she helped him about something voluntarily, without him begging for it. in fact, he's already ignoring her now. he kept saying, "I like you but I like myself more. I like you but...on and on and on." based on the result of his test, everytime she rejected him, it affects his emotion. and it's building his defensive mechanism, and he started to avoid her. I didn't explain it before because I was afraid it's a spoiler.
and maybe you're right, there's a chance he would sacrifice himself more later. but remember that currently the ml is acting as a narcissist. there's no one he loves better more than himself.
and she really is not as bad as you described. at least that's the impression I got after watching ep 6. her character is described as cold but actually warm on the inside. she's actually a caring person, but there's a reason why she cannot emotionally attached with everyone, not only to the ml. it's her defensive mechanism, her way of trying to survive from a trauma. same as the ml trying to forget his past. yeah it's a toxic trait.
of course that's not justifying her to act rude. and I still think she needs to say sorry tho. at least as his psychiatrist she should have a professionalism to do that.
can I ask you, how she apologize fir that cut she made in his face because of her crazy behavior and her harsh…
I just finished watching ep 6
I hate to break it to you that so far she didn't apologize with her words even after she found out his true intention later.
but way before that, even when she misunderstood that he wanted to touch her without her consent, she already regretted for hurting his face and she apologized with her action.
but I have a good news. the ml is stronger than he seemed. so far, he loved himself than anyone else. you need to bear his clinginess for her a little longer if you want to continue watching this. but later he knew how to keep a distance and prioritize himself. at least for now he is like that.
she's evil but the husband is useless. what did he contribute to the family tho? at least she can be a good coach. no, I think it's better if he did nothing at all. he caused trouble because he thought he could make a decision.

but judging from the poster, it looks like a love square π

in my wildest theory, the fl and sfl's childhood memories are getting swapped.
and he stop pursuing her way before he doubt his memories. that was when doctor kyung knew about the relationship of doctor teo with her subordinate.
