Technically speaking he's already a "sweet potato" disguised as a durianπ
by sweet potato I mean it's come from under the ground= π r.i.p. their theory it's going to be a sad ending, which I don't think so. well it's only a theory anyway.
and I agree he's hot and wild and tasty and expensive like durian π
han kang has a depth in her story and I love the social criticism. I only dropped the vegetarian because I felt like I might really end up as a vegetarian by the time I finished the book, but not due to a good reason π
kuddos to those who finished the book, you have a strong mind control and stomach.
and congratulations for such an inspiring writer, han kang. this is such a cultural reset.
this makes me want to read her other works.
don't worry I can bear to miss baek saeon... I think. can I? I'm not sure. but I'll have to be fine.
I respect everyone's opinion but whoever calling it boring and saying negative stuffs about it??? Y'all just have…
sorry I think my comment earlier kinda jinxed it. I was glad that although this has fewer comments but get healthier vibe. however since then weird comments started to appear π
saw someone compiled the poster with 3 other dramas that have one of the main characters ended up as a sweet potato π
all of the posters have similar vibe with all the male leads staring at the fls. but I noticed only baek saeon is on the left side of the picture. so maybe it's a signal from the universe that the theory works the opposite.
The scene at the rooftop happens after he goes to the police station. So by then he already knows she can speak.…
no he went to the new nursing home to visit her dad. there was a scene of him walked down the stairs of a building right before he went to work. and it didn't look like a police station.
that scene appeared right after the scene where he read his subordinate's text about the new nursing home the night before. it only makes sense if the place he visited after is his sick father in law.
Anyway, how accurate are the Nilesen ratings? Do they have an accurate sample representation of actual TV audience…
not sure but I've heard someone said that in a family house where usually there's one or two tvs, the elders are the one who watch it. that's why family drama with 100-something episodes gets higher rating than mini drama. the younger audiences prefer ott these days.
atp mdl should change yoo Yeon soek's pfp into the hot Mr. Baek sa eon. the pfp rn is too cute to handle π
yes somebody please do ππ I've been eager to change chae soobin's pfp since forever too but my lazy as* got lost anytime I try to pick the best source of her new pfp.
maybe he had a chance to hide under the table or something since he already prepared and sensed the box was out of place.
but since baek saeon was unaware and unprepared of the situation out there, he got no chance to save himself and apparently got hit by the broken door.
He knew it the same day, before the interview began. 1. His tie is the same as the one he wore on the day he interviewed…
honestly I'm not sure he knew it or not but his tie was slightly different. it has a smaller white stripe on the day of the interview.
and he drove with a different car to the police station. a different model and plat number from the president's official car he borrowed on the day of the incident. it means a different day.
so in the testing hall had he aldready seen the footage of her speaking or not? when did it happen
no, I suppose he didn't know it then. I've checked that he wore a different necktie on the day of the interview and the day he visited the police station.
and from his necktie, I realized episode 4 happens in 3 days. day 1, her father incident. day 2, blue house interpreter interview. and day 3, the party.
maybe the scene when he saw the footage is like a spoiler from the upcoming episode.
maybe he wanted to verify it after the telephone call at the party.
I bet he's going to pretend he didn't know. because he doesn't want to force her and push her to the limit. and maybe he's also wondering like why do I get to be more honest talking about my feeling and vulnerabilities to a random telephone call? why does it bring us to this certain point? can it bring me closer to you? is there anything you don't tell me about? why do you have it? are you with them all this time? why why why why why why it has to be you? and all the crazy things and wild theories he has in mind lol
and I agree he's hot and wild and tasty and expensive like durian π

from the analysis of his tie, there's no sign in ep 4 that he went there.
that scene appeared right after the scene where he read his subordinate's text about the new nursing home the night before. it only makes sense if the place he visited after is his sick father in law.
