the culprit prepared such a high-tech device. but by looking at how he behaved, he didn't seem to be someone capable of doing that alone. even he couldn't do his job properly at convincing the ml that his wife was in danger. and the way the captive herself had to take over his job.... π that speaks a lot about his lame dedication as a bad guy.
