First episode was quite enjoyable, albeit full of cliche' tropes (intentional maybe). The incident at the end definitely got me invested. This drama can go in many interesting directions, and I'm excited to see where it would take me, especially when we have many flawed characters with questionable decisions.

Very well observed. I have one more point to add about Nozue not being oblivious to Togawa's advances. It was when Togawa sulked because Nozue went out to lunch with the ladies instead of him, Nozue correctly intuited it. He went on to explain the situation, and asked if Togawa was feeling better. At 39, Nozue understands more than what he lets others see.

Two episodes in and I'm so loving it!!! The story is more mature and sexy, and all of their conversations and flirting are so on point. Another BL gem for sure.

No obvious romance, but there was a very strong connection between the two main leads. I'd even say that there were some subtle hints for further development into romance if there was ever going to be a 2nd season.

I just finished it today. Brilliant show, and yes, I concur with all the comments about Issei-san's acting. It was my first time watching him (and I have seen quite a bit of Jdramas, where has he been hiding on me all this time?!), and he was so mesmerizing. I didn't think much about him at the start, but by the end, he made me into a fan. I'd highly recommend this show!

This is a fun article, and you brought up plenty of ample reasons that can make dropping a show difficult. I'm a pretty picky watcher initially, and have a particular taste in dramas. Often times I choose the drama carefully, and only watch when I'm in the right mood for it. That's why I generally don't drop a drama once I start, because that drama usually fits my palette. On the other hand, my on-hold list is long though, lol. I get bored easily I guess, but somehow will come back to finish the ones I put on hold. Anyways, the bottom line is, dramas are for enjoyment. If I find no joy out of watching certain ones, then we part ways... as simple as that.

All these quality shows coming to Viki are making me so happy! I really enjoyed the first episode.

What an absolutely delightful show! Oh Japan, only you can make something so cringy yet funny and heartwarming at the same time. The couple in this show is gold standard in communication, I love love love their chemistry.

Well, I was concerned about how much material we'll have to cover 8 episodes, so I read the manga... can others confirm for me? Is it really true that the manga is finished at 8 chapters?

People are seriously dropping the rating because of that?!! Besides being cute, PG-rated BL from Japan, they have nothing else in common, lol. But I also think Jdrama watchers are harsher raters. Ratings for the majority of Jdramas are low across the board here on MDL.

Seems like he's buffing up for the role :D

Very solid first episode! That last scene surprised me in a good way. I'm very happy to see Hokuto as the ML here since he totally impressed me in Perfect World the drama. Can't tell much about his character so far though, hopefully his character is written well. I'm a bit nervous, lol.

The first episode was so adorable and hilarious! I came in with low expectation, but found myself loving Kouta almost instantly, haha... His expressions were so precious. This is setting up to be so wholesome like Cherry Magic and Kieta Hatsukoi. Hopefully it'll continue to deliver :D

Am I alone in thinking that Tao and Yoshitaka Yuriko look almost the same? I kept on mistaking the two of them. Other than that, I love Tao in Alice in borderland. Can't wait to see her again in season 2 :D
