I love how Moon Young only spoke through the door and made it his choice. And Kang Tae does try. She put the little Mang Tae in his suit! I am so glad Kang Tae is sharing the notes with Dr. Oh! Trying to figure out the mystery. And also he's sharing in general instead of trying to solve it on his own. Get on your knees and beg and even then you can say no. This story is about her but bears so much weight for Kang Tae knowing about Moon Young's past, too, with her own father.

Never seen Lee Joon Gi in anything but he's amazing here. His character seems pretty sociopathic but can appear normal when needed. I'm wondering if even while being that way he isn't as bad as we think. Maybe he did kill a person once but learned to control it? Or only kills bad people. Kinda Dexter-style? Still a killer but one you don't hate? Him being a straight up serial killer would almost be too "easy" in terms of the story.

I absolutely would love to own it. I signed the petition to have it released on DVD/Bluray.

I try to also be mindful of starting dramas I'm sure I'll like but I'm pretty tenacious in most aspects. I think I can safely say some Western shows I've dropped from lack of interest. I'll get there probably with kdramas. But there are so many ones I know I'll love and be able to enjoy right now. I'm riding the wave at the moment.

I've yet to drop any drama because I like to finish shows even if I didn't love it or think of it as anything more than 5/10 by the final episode. I almost...appreciate the good ones even more when I see more and more okay or just "fine" or mediocre ones. We'll see. I don't watch too many at one time and I'm still so new to it I will probably get to a point where I drop.

Yes, that, too! This is the first project I've seen Yoon Shi Yoon in and I'm impressed so far. Seriously, some of my fave (western) shows are Fringe, Orphan Black, Farscape, the Stargate franchise. All of those either heavily incorporated alternate worlds or did for a lot of arcs. And the acting prowess it takes to really believe each character is different is key in making us love the story.

OH FACK WHAT WAS THAT. BUT OMG LOOK AT ALL THE DOMESTICNESS AND FAMILY STUFF COMING UP WITH A TWINGE OF GOOD OL' SADNESS I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!

Just marathoned the first four episodes. This kind of show is MY JAM. I loooooove parallel universes and you pair it with a murder mystery and we're talking *chef's kiss*. Also this is only 12 episodes so it's tight. I have to say I agree with other people. I don't mind if the World B Seo Kyung and World A Do Won can come to terms and agree with each other but I don't need or want romance. She's not HIS Seo Kyung, and I hope we get to see more of World B Do Won and how bad is he really or more of it misunderstandings than we think? He clearly does do drugs, though, and that already can change you enough to make you do things a sober you would never do.

The trailer made it look soooo well done. The visuals and music and acting were already a pull for me. It felt like something really new and different from the other shows I'd seen and just looked a cut above the rest. And it lived up to that!

Yes! I appreciate that we see side characters with their own love story. His words about how he loved her and felt crazy not looking at her is what gave Kang Tae is little lightbulb moment, too. And when he told A Reum about the one who is more patient is more in love. And he was the patient one, too, wanting to be better for her to give them both the happiness they both deserve. I hope they get their happy ending.

Hmm, I definitely only watched Backstreet Rookie for Ji Chang Wook and it's not absolutely terrible but it's more to pass the time. His character is well done and he is a fantastic actor because Dae Hyun is very different from his other roles (which is good!) but if it had been anyone else cast I wouldn't have watched it. To All the Guys Who Loved Me? It's ok for now. Potentially to be moderately good, again a time passer. Was It Love? is also just pretty good, time passer. Nothing obsessive or passionate going on when I watch them. They are also only 4 or so episodes in but most of my fave shows I know from the start they are going to be a fave. If you look at my profile you'll see what I gave 9's or 10s! These aren't that, though.

I'm always of the mind to decide whether I will like a show or not. If the synopsis sounds like something I'd like I try it even if the ratings suck. No one but me can decide if I like something and I don't really need others to decide for me. A show could have an average 5.0 rating but I could see it as a 10 and that's all that matters to me.

When you're dealing with someone with autism, especially with that kind of meltdown you have to slowly work them out of their shattered state before getting them back to their equilibrium. Sang Tae was hiding out in that room for a whole entire day, at least. Not eating or going to the bathroom, even. So the way to get him back to his baseline is to coax him gently with things that might appease him. The way the doctor, Jae Su, and nurse Park did. Sang Tae is smart in his own way, but what the others did isn't giving in, to me. And they didn't commit him to the hospital. They gave him time and let him calm down so he could eat, go to the bathroom, and go home. I think in the preview for episode 11 we're seeing him finally understand his brother is his own person. Moon Young tells him Kang Tae belongs to Kang Tae. Sang Tae will have to accept that Kang Tae is a person besides also being his brother and his keeper.

I've been watching a few other currently airing dramas to make the days go by. Mon/Tue is To All The Guys Who Loved Me, Wed/Thurs is Was It Love? And Backstreet Rookie is Fri/Sat. Though I watch this show on Saturday first and then usually BR later on Sat or both episodes on Sat/Sun. Usually I'm also watching one completed drama to fill in all the other time in between all that.
