Idk, I'm raising my step daughter now and kids need emotional affection from their parents, no matter whose hands you leave them in. But that's a whole nother story! I do realize this is JUST a c drama lol and like I said it seems normal for Asian parents to let kids raise themselves.

This actress is very pretty compared to our conversations about Ancient Love Poetry. But I can tell from the plot and how this drama is going that the FL in Love and Redemption is probably going to be dumber than a bag of rocks and that this drama will be all bad decisions.

I'm more surprised you gave this one a longer watch than the other lol.

Sometimes I like to see the leads match in looks lol. I just watched ancient love poetry (def a good watch if you like xian xia genre) and the FL wasn't AS cute. But she grew on me.

Regarding the commenter above, idk I see this person bashing every xian xia drama lol... They don't seem to like any of them.

Oh no, I just finished watching Ancient Love Poetry, and saw they just added this to Viki. I was like wow HXM and Vicky (MAYBE this might be good, since they're "seasoned" actors?) LOL. Now I'm scared! I thought the intro was confusing though; I thought it was a trailer.
