That was one thing I didn't like about the drama; after Bai Jue sacrifices himself... she ditches her son. We saw how Gu Jun ditched Hou Chi for 10,000 years! But then again, at the same time asian parents are known to do the same LOL
Ok, I'm back with my follow up. I just completed this drama and honestly the beginning had me like "meh" but I got sucked into it. It's a really great drama, I was up till 3am watching + cried watching this drama! I watched on Viki and the comments were a bit aggravating - they kept commenting why do people in c-dramas never tell their partners about what they're about to do to sacrifice themselves/love, etc, and HELLUR maybe it's just an asian thing that you don't want to burden your loved ones?

This drama grew on me. Yes the main lead is not the cutest but she grows on you. I think depending on which arc you are in - THERE'S no chemistry. I'm in arc 3 and I think Bai Jue is stuck in his ways to end things with Hou Chi to make her forget him. So he's being a d*CK to her. ðŸ˜
I liked it! I also loved the first part. I wanted to see if her parents still had any connections in this part. But I really wanted to know who she would end with. It was a beautiful how she settled things out with Ling Gege. I wish things worked for them. What they had was beautiful.
