You can see from my profile I do love myself a good fantasy drama, but this one is slow. I think it only has like 30+ episodes and I still haven't finished it in a month. Eek.
I'm not familiar with the author Priest. But I'm watching Legend of Fei and I'm enjoying it. I love a good wuxia novel. Not sure if that is the author's expertise because you really have to put a lot of time in building your characters, as well as the martial arts world and how they all interconnect. I'll probably try the other ones too
I enjoyed all the Jing Yong's screen drama adaptation up to early 2000s. I don't hate the new ones only because…
Omg I grew up ton TVB's versions of JY's adaptations. And I'm kinda older so I remember reading forums on SPCNET and how everyone compared the dramas to the books. I wish they could make good ones in modern day because the technology is so good now. But to this day my favorite of JY dramas come from the 80s. I think back then the actors went to school and learned actual martial arts, the casting was on point and maybe the production companies cared? Now days TVB can't even produce anything I care to watch. Casting is huge for me too. I tried to watch LOCH with Hu Ge and I just couldn't get into it! I feel it was wayy to smart to play QJ
This is straight up Wuxia style. The type I'm used to - think back to 80s style TVB Legend of the Condor Heroes... Except the lead is a female and she's gathering up all the martial arts skills. Yes. I'm here for it!
Idk why so many people liked it. I love me a good historical/palace drama. And yes I liked that they did focus on the Khitan group for once. But man it fell short in so many areas lol
I'm only 4 episodes into this drama. And wu bai is probably my favorite..I hope he ends up with the sister just because he's so cute and the comedy relief
This review is spot on with what I was feeling. I wanted to like this drama so badly because I love the cast. But dang, the writers really messed this up
Is this like legend of dugu? I mainly watch that for the sisterhood of Banruo and Jialou m. I loved that even…
I thought the Dugu sister's were better. It's because the acting from Tiffany, it was lacking a lot. Ady Chan was the one that carried the drama for the Dugu and Sharmaine carried the fast for Xiao Chuo
Can someone just message me and tell me how it ends? Lol
It legit only got interesting when Mingyi took in the consort girl, and you see if YY gets jealous or not. And then they even have a baby but she sacrifices herself. Does YY not have any opponents beside her sister?
