Everyone's saying to drop your previous thoughts from TMOPB, but I see that this somehow intertwines the timeline but at the same time it doesn't. Is this Dong Hua's first trial as a king, or another trial? In TMOPB , when Bai Qian also fell off the platform, Fengjiu was lolly-gagging around in heaven trying to be Dong Hua's maid, and then he also went through a similar trial, and Fengjiu gets involved in it, of course they added more because this drama is ALL about them. But the only part it won't make sense is Ah-Li being born and keeping in touch with the Bai Family lol.
I keep watching this and putting pause on it. I just can't get SUPER into it. I even paused this one for "Switch of Fate" (which isn't even that good, wtf!)

I figured I had to let go what we saw in TMOPB too! I guess the "tiger" her saved her from in the forest was changed to mystical beast of the underwold. I'm also assuming timeline wise, it's when "aunty" Bai Qian decides to sleep for 50,000 something years lol.
I couldn't watch this while it aired, because I hate when I catch up and have to wait for new episodes. I'm still ticked they switched out the original "little uncle" and high god Zhe Yan :(

I loved this drama and although it's fantasy, it's much different than TMOPB and NIF. This one was more mystery, (to me) as I wanted to find out who was behind this whole thing. I haven't watched a drama THIS good in a long time, so that's probably why it has such high ratings. I do am not really in to sexual scenes (in any drama), nor have I tried watching "BL" drama/shows, but it really did not bother me knowing the two male leads are suppose to be lovers. I thought in this drama, they were just really close friends. I didn't know until I came on here and saw the comments, lol.

I came to the party late too. I too am awkward with the whole romance thing, so I relate to dramas where the leads don't even kiss. This is a great drama, and I was hooked almost immediately! I haven't watched a good drama like this in AGES
I'm trying to save money so I only watch what's on Netflix. Lol. I started 3 episodes and wanted to see more about drama. Was a little shocked to learn what boy love is. I'm sure if this was animated I probably would not watch. I'm just awkward and not into sex movies lol - perfect for Chinese dramas. I continued despite finding out this new drama. I'm currently on episode 45 and addicted! The plot is intriguing and captivating. I do skip thru lot of that staring scenes, and fight scenes though lol. And totally guessed the bad guy since the beginning.
I never knew what BL was and have never watched a BL drama. I'm on episode 4 of the Untamed and I'm super curious of the backstory. It is a Chinese drama so I doubt there will be any intimate scenes (even with regular dramas it's kind of dry). Hopefully it'll be good.
