I remember I wanted to watch this one a long time ago and then I didn't - but now that I know I really like Song Seung Heon (after Black), I'm putting it back on my list! LOL
I'm just thrilled that Netflix isn't making the US wait until this is finished - that's been my main complaint with NF getting rights. I'm really surprised at how much I'm enjoying this so far, since it's not my usual preference for genres. I'm still a little bit confused, but I'm sure it'll all come together for me soon. The production is good quality and the main actress is just gorgeous. My first time watching LBH - I haven't watched a lot of Korean movies, which seem to be his main thing. I didn't even recognize Yoo Yeon Suk at first (who I normally don't really care for) - so he's doing a good job! LOL! I also like that the 'American' actors don't sound horrible as they do most of the time in Korean drama. They are still a bit 'off', but not distractingly so.
This is so cool! I wish there were such amazing helper available here... It just make me so happy to see the mess…
Right? I want to hire him to clean my house too. ;P It was *very* satisfying to see the messes being cleaned up and organized. I'm afraid I would be very much like Da Young and just get overwhelmed and not know where to even begin.
You should be crazy about Yang after Duel and Romantic doctor KimU don't like his acting or....what
I didn't watch either of those two dramas. ToL was the first time I've watched him, and I didn't like his character at all. So, honestly, that could color the way I feel about him as an actor, which is why I said this show might turn me around on him. I'm hesitant, but hoping that a new character will make me have a change of heart. You never know, it's happened to me before! :)
Oh man, I love Shin Hye Sun, but now I'm hesitant to watch because I'm not crazy about Yang Se Jong after Temperature of Love. I'll still give it a go, just because of SHS. Maybe this show will turn me around on YSJ.
I'm kind of confused about that hospital director part too, and yeah it was about $100.It might've been out of…
Yes he did! I felt like the money was a compliment, but he was so quiet about it that I wasn't 100% sure. But coming back and requesting the same meal again showed that he really liked it. As do all the hospital staff - obviously someone had to share the news about how good the food was because he and the nurse lady were the only ones that had tried the food prior to that.

I would *LOVE* it if Chil Sung ended up owning the hotel! Like he said - they are coming after his 7 story building, but he's coming after their 21-story building! LOL! And I hope he takes it clean out from under them. His first round of firings can include the snooty underhanded chef!

I can't stand anyone from the Hotel. Esp redheaded CEO guy, whose name I can't be bothered to remember. LOL! They are all horrible people! At least Bo Ra has a shred of a conscious, but she was still a horrible person for stabbing Poong in the back in the beginning.
I love it - I think it's a great rom-com. I don't need my romantic comedies to re-invent the wheel every time a new one comes out. Tropes and clichés will always be part of romantic comedies, and I'm ok with that. If I ever get to the point that I hate them, then I'll know that I no longer care for that genre and stop trying to watch them. This is light and fun, the actors have a great chemistry, and I am thoroughly entertained and look forward to every new episode. I don't ask for much more than that in my rom-coms!
There goes Chil Sung breaking my heart again at the end of episode 26. Poong kept getting interrupted when he tried to break the news to him, so I'm hoping he doesn't feel betrayed after seeing them kissing and lash out. Neither of them would want to hurt him, but we all know it will. :( Chil Sung has been incredibly generous to Poong - going further than he even knows about after buying out the construction company's lien against the hotel to help him get his revenge against them.
Anyone know why the hospital director only took a couple of bites of food and then left 100,000 won? I know he said he was full already, but was the money a compliment or an insult? That's like almost $100 right? I was thinking he liked it so much that he was saying Poong's food was worth so much more than the food they'd gotten at the hotel. I'm hoping that means he's coming back with more customers soon. Did anyone else read it that way or am I taking it wrong?

Mi So closed that gap and then Young Joon took it over from there. He's a quick study! LOL!! ;)
