Ok, I didn't make it past episode 2 because it didn't have the same tone as the first one. But I put it on hold and thought "I'll wait and see what other viewers say." .....and 3 weeks after the ending there isn't a SINGLE review? Really? I feel like that says something since most of the time people can't even wait until a show is complete before they want to fire off a review. (But somehow it's coming in at an 8.3? This doesn't compute! LOL)
Since they kissed in episode 12, he's got to be endgame right? The female lead almost *never* kisses anyone but the male lead. Sorry Min Ho shippers....I'm Ye-Line and hoping it stays that way. (MH is cute and all, but he's been pretty awful to BY until he finally realized he liked her. I think he missed his chance.)
Most of the time, yes, he just fed them some information and let their own bad behavior do its work. He caught them in their own trap. So you have to wonder...is that how the title came about? :) I don't think he was so bad for the most part. The other people were the ones doing wrong usually, so they did sort of deserve what they got (most of the time). I think it backfired with Seol - she didn't deserve a stalker or the crazy drunk, but she wasn't a bad person, taking advantage of others either. He just misunderstood her at first.
I am just here to tell you why I still don't like Minho:It's because he is only NOW nice to her because he just…
I have only finished up to episode 6, but I feel like I'm going to have a hard time taking him seriously as a love interest after his tantrum, rolling around on the floor, in front of his parents early on. And YES! that type of character with the "just kidding" is so childish. He has treated her horribly. I mean, I feel a bit sorry for him now, after seeing how his family is, but that is about all right now.
I get where you're all coming from. But I think we need to give her time to adjust to the situation. Right now…
I agree with you. She's trying to handle things on her own. She admits she's not great at it. But being loved and cherished for the first time ever, she is seeing that she is worth something. She stood up for herself in the workplace and quit being the 'party' girl at the work dinners, putting up with the pervy manager. And that paved the way for the rest of the women to put a stop to it as well. When she found out what her ex did, she went to him herself (and was upset that Joon Hee had even seen it) She went to her ex about the phone because she wanted to do it on her own since she found she was stuck after having her phone in his name. She didn't want to let Joon Hee take care of it for her. And lastly, telling her parents and her friend/his sister. She says she will do it on her own and not hide behind him.
So, yeah, he may have had to come to her and help her, but it's not because she was playing the 'damsel in distress' who is helpless to help herself. She wasn't just waiting for him to take care of her problems for her.
What you said - "I don't think there's anything wrong with Jin Ah taking her courage from Joon Hee." - totally support that statement!
There is a lot more to the story than just their age gap. They have a lot of barriers in there way, his background,…
Actually, you kind of *did* say that in a way...and I quote, "So bye I feel sorry for you if think this drama is good you need to watch something else".
I usually don't put myself into these conversations, but I will this one time. Just let people enjoy things. If you don't like it, fine, but there's no need to feel sorry for anyone that enjoys something you don't care for. If you don't like it fine, just see yourself out. No need to hate on others.
There are plenty of other things you could have gotten out of this show, but if you don't care for it then that's just personal taste and there's nothing wrong with that. Hope you find something to watch that pleases you as much as this show pleases those of us that are enjoying it.
spoilers for epi 7&8I seriously love how natural their kisses are and I am living for the cute moments they share…
That hospital scene - that was just 'wow' for me. You are right, it was such an intimate scene with him just silently helping her re-dress. Jung Hae In is giving me butterflies in every dang episode! His face when he's smitten or jealous or worried....my poor heart can't take it!
I appreciate ALL the subbers out there! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the task! Where would we be without them? (Although I feel like I've learned a lot in the three years I've been watching dramas, I would still be lost without subtitles! I can still only catch a fraction of the dialogue. I am truly in awe - and envious - of people that are fluent in multiple languages.)
I tried. I'm not feeling this movie at all. :( I think OYS doesn't feel like Seol. None of the actors feel "right". Even PHJ as Jung feels off - even though it's the same actor playing the character. They all seemed like bland versions of the original drama actors. I really wanted to give this a chance, too.
Loving it so far, but the OST doesn't seem to fit at all...
I like Save the Last Dance for Me. For some reason it gives me nostalgic feelings. However, even though I like Stand By Your Man....I'm not seeing yet how it fits into their story either.
Edited to add - Don't get me wrong, I do like the song Stand By Your Man but the lines : "you'll have bad times and he'll have good times, doing things that you just don't understand" and "if you love him, you'll forgive him" always stick out to me. I just don't want those parts to mean anything in this show. (and the show's cover isn't bad even though it's not the standard country version - which I'd like to say the Dixie Chicks did an amazing cover of btw....sorry Tammy Wynette!) But if I think maybe it's about standing by him when everyone gives them a hard time about being together (we all know it's coming) then I can see it.

But for Japan, I'd like to visit either Tokyo or Kyoto.

I was the same - I couldn't hold out any longer and watched it raw.

But OMG how cute were they in episode 3??!! I loved every look on Joon Hee's face - Jung Hae In is KILLING it with just a look.
