Why do people think this is like goblin?? It isn't at all?!?
Because the scenarios sound a little similar, but it is very different. I can see why initially they may think so, but after watching the first episode, you will know immediately that there are no similarities except that there is a grim reaper and a girl who can see things supernaturally.
The second episodr was a bit all over the place however I liked it a lot. Like you guys pointed out below the…
Yes, the 2nd episode, while still very interesting, was all over the place and left me very confused about what was happening. Hopefully my questions will start getting answered in the next set of episodes.
Two episodes in and this show has already made me emotional. It's got funny parts too, but I think this show is going to hit *all* the feels before it's over.
I know this is a tvn drama but the ratings were so bad, like 2% this will be one of those loved by international…
I know that I, an international fan, like it (and I've liked most tvn dramas I've watched). I guess I had forgotten that the main lead in this one was a writer also, like in Temperature of Love. (and Hwang Seok Jung is playing a head drama writer in both! LOL - weird!) I feel like I'm going to like this one better than Temperature of Love (my love of Seo Hyun Jin notwithstanding.) And I know we've chatted a bit about KJW on the ToL page, but, comparing the two, which are you liking more (out of curiosity)?
I don't think the synopsis is accurate. What is written there is just a blip in the first episode or two and…
I don't know how I would rephrase it. I know that that's how Hyun Soo, Jung Seon, Hong Ah, and maybe Won Joon met (at least the girls meeting the guys. It seems like the girls may have been friends beforehand). But the online stuff is only mentioned briefly, never really shown. And then it's not really mentioned again. But the there hasn't really been much of a "plot" to speak of yet, so I don't know how to answer that question. Nothing much has even happened except that they met, separated and are reconnecting mixed in with work stuff. The central conflict, if there even *will* be one hasn't happened yet.
is the synopsis accurate? does it happen after the time skip?
I don't think the synopsis is accurate. What is written there is just a blip in the first episode or two and really has nothing to do with the rest of the show.
their not ! the only one who's straightforward and responsible are the two male leads and mostly Jung SunHyun…
I get what you are saying - I don't feel like she's outright lead him on. But, she *has* accepted all he's done for her, knowing how he felt about her. She's let him take her out and advance her career. I say it's on both of them a little bit. He's done all this knowing she has said she loved someone else and knowing that she hasn't seen him as a man. But he's obviously been waiting patiently for her to see him that way, and has told her this. She has been too subtle in her rejection of him - if she had been clear that she was never going to accept him, he probably would never have kept helping her so far. He's been a gentleman and she's let him be her benefactor, knowing how he felt about her. That's the way I see it at least.
I'm on the fence with this show. Honestly, I wish they'd give us a real twist and send her to Jung Woo instead of Jung Seon. :/ This is my first time watching Kim Jae Wook, and I'm disappointed that he's not the lead in ANY romance drama that I could watch instead. (Those cheekbones are to die for) I really love SHJ, but this is kind of becoming a snooze.
I loved this glimpse into life at this period of time in 1979. It is beautifully filmed and carefully produced…
Enjoyed this comment. Knowing next to nothing about the history in Korea, this information really helps hammer the story home a little more. Thank you for sharing this
